Badlands Cola is a cinematic mystery/horror audio drama about eldritch fossils, hate-flirting, and liminal nightmares that yawn wide in the night.
In a desert town full of strange fossils and even stranger people, a hard-hearted PI and a broken-down radio DJ attempt to dig up the skeletal past of a cult before it can reform. New episodes every other Tuesday. Created by Renee Taylor Klint.
Sunrise milkshakes. A watcher at the window. An end.

Hey folks, happy holidays and a bright new year from all of us on the Badlands Cola team. 💙🦕
We'll be back in January with one last trip to the Badlands. Stay tuned. 📡🌙
Are you aware that you have some of the best sound effects and acting that I've heard in podcasts? Because normally they don't really give me chills or induce fear or make me uncomfortable (they do, but less in the plot way), but the entire time I listened to episodes 10 and 11pt1 I was on edge? Like, it felt so real: Sunny's terror and pain, them being stalked in the halls by some primordial monster, the claustrophobia and heat inside the caves and hotel respectively, the ammonites crawling and writhing ever closer and closer until it felt like they were going to crawl into my throat and crush it. Just. Wow.
Thank you so much for the love, it seriously means so much to the team. <3
Our sound designers contribute to some other really amazing podcasts, if you'd like to hear more of their work!

Thank you all for these incredible, incredible milestones, and please do stick around, because season one isn’t over just yet!
I love tiny homes, especially the ones on wheels so Strathcona’s whole set up being a painted bus really painted a stark picture in my mind. Def needs more radio stuff around that desk tho
