A kinda sorta update, but I’m sure I’m speaking to the void, so maybe this isn’t worth a post but…
I have no plans to return to this space the way I was before.
I’ll eventually resume what I was working on in the coming months, you hear that wips, I love you and I will return, but any updates will go staight to A03, no more tumblr previews.
I’m not too interested in any fandoms at the moment, so it’s hard to put a schedule on my future updates, as I want to write with the muse awakening not near-dead.
My side accounts, minus the one for Moodboards (as I need that for A03) will eventfully be retired.
This main account for now at least, will stay for maybe just interacting with the 2-3 ppl who are still around but not for fics.
Masterlist will be updated over the year, casually and with no time pressures, as things get updated and posted to A03.
I’ll eventually start changing what already exists here, which means deletions and taking things down, so that ultimately my stuff is only on A03.
That will take time I don’t have right now, so not happening anytime soon. I’d like to cross check everything is on A03 before I delete it here.

Early afternoon, Frankie & Veronica
Frankie was already at the door and opening it before Veronica could knock.
“Camera huh?” she grinned then displayed what appeared to be a pastry box.
Frankie gently caressed her arm, then ushered her inside. Once the door was closed, he used his other hand to touch her chin as they kissed.
She leaned back and picked a few hairs off his shirt, "you look like us now."
"Sitting with the dogs after the meeting helped me keep my cool." Frankie said. "The cat even joined."
"They adore you, it's cute. Wish I could have seen the cuddle puddle." she stepped deeper inside.
"Ben took a picture," Frankie took it out to show her.
"You know you need to send that to me right," she tapped the screen.
“I will...you should be resting.”
“I know, I’m going to try to get a nap before I get the kids. But first,” she wiggled her brow at him, then headed to the kitchen.

A Nick Vaughan x ofc mini fic
Status: complete

Summary: Two strangers, a wedding, and one unforgettable night.
Warnings: angsts, mild implied sexual content.
An: who wrote a sappy fic during hiatus??? Me. I did. Not back yet, wips likely resuming in February, but here is some fluffiness all inspired by a movie I was just gonna watch as background noise 😂 (is this bringing my Chris E crush back??? Dammit!)

Myrlande
Myrlande chewed the inside of her cheek as more people filed in, the wedding would start in 20 minutes.
Each time she glanced back and didn’t see Andrew, relief washed over her. But there were still about 15 empty seats, and Brian would kill him if he didn’t show.
Myrlande was close to the bride, Grace, they'd known each other since grade school. Grace met Brian 6 years ago, and he’s been around ever since. Friends came along with the package, in Grace’s case, she came with Myrlande and Ani. Brian, the groom, came with four of his own childhood friends, one of them being Andrew.
“Honey, you’re making me nervous.” Ani placed one hand over Myrlands. “Breathe,” she whispered.
Myrlande blew out a breath. “Am I that obvious?”
“Only because I know you so well, plus, you’re looking at the door, a lot.”
Myrlande laughed to release some tension, “I haven't seen him since that night I fucked up.” …

Noon, in midtown Manhattan, Nick POV
As the crowd spilled off the train, Nick stayed seated.
Everyone around him was in a rush, except him. He said yes to this, but from the moment he got the invite months back, it only filled him with dread. She would be there.
The tall brunette captured his attention and heart in one night and he was smitten, all in, from the start. He’d never seen her before sophomore year of college, she just appeared, out of nowhere, like she was there just for him.
And once it was over, she was gone, like she had never been there; well, if it wasn’t for his broken heart and all the memories that haunted him like ghosts, even 6 years later.
I should be over it by now, he even told himself in the mirror sometimes, but no matter how many times he said it, it never worked…

I’m doing some masterlist editing and organizing. Plus littering some unreleased work in, and re-uploading some deleted things. This will be weaved into my already set queue.
So if you see lots a post here and there, that’s why. I’m not fully off hiatus yet…
I’m thinking my official return back will be around Feb 1st, and I’ll resume my wips at that time.

I hope your hiatus treated you well! By any chance, is it’s all poetry up on ao3? I know I’m almost a year late but I was going through your stuff and it sounds like a great read

Thank you, it’s nice so far! Happy new year! You are not late at all. I sadly had to put that fic on hiatus for much longer than I wanted or planned to.
But I already have 2.5 of the 4 chapters written, just not posted anywhere. I’m contemplating wrapping it up later this month and releasing all the chapters at once. So for now, stay tuned! Save the below post, once it’s all up on A03, I’ll add the link there.
Thanks again! It’s a bittersweet story , emphasis on sweet, and I really love it. I’m looking forward to sharing once it’s ready. Ideally, later this month (after the 20th).
