Hello, I have the question about the zine portofolio. How many writing/art I can share? And is there a time limit on how old the portofolio would/should be? For example, if it was a Marble Hornets art from 2017. Hey, I would prefer you send this to @broadcastzine on here, but i'll answer here for you. We aren't looking for minimum or maximum amount of art pieces, we just want a grasp of your style and composition of FULL pieces. We are going to have to look over at *least* 100 submissions after May 4th, so with writing, I wouldn't send more than 3-5. You won't be automatically booted from the application pool if you send more than that, we just might not have the time to dedicate to reading all of your work. I would also say that if you are still proud of your work and you think it's representative of something you could produce now, throw it into your portfolio. We know a lot of people haven't produced MH content in many years, so we don't need it to be recent. Hope this helps!

This blog gives 2013-2017 MH fandom times. Things have really changed since then, Jesus 😔

Very true! But the past is the past, and some change is to be expected. The climate/level of activity in the fanbase has certainly mellowed out, but, in a lot of ways, I think that's for the best. New people will always find their way here and contribute their own creations. Along with that change has also come a radical shift in the fandom's attitude towards things which were previously pretty mildly unpopular (EX; queer headcanons, radical acceptance of mentally ill characters without demonization). Overall, I would say the progress within the MH fandom has been pretty overwhelmingly positive. Of course, though, I miss certain parts of the old days.

has anyone figured out what model of camera was used to film marble hornets? i know it was a digital handheld with nightvision but that could be anything

Almost all of the series was filmed with a Sony HDR-SR5 and a GoPro Hero. I own the SR5, it rules!

Two photos recovered from Midoricon 2014 coverage, including a photo of Trosephim with attending members of the 'Hoody Hub', an Unfiction chatroom organized by Marble Hornets fans. The HH was also responsible for the organization of several fan-focused panels at various conventions, but coverage of these is sparse (and I'm still digging).
