Book analysis
The Masque of The Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe
The short story written by the master of gothic literature deals mainly with the inevitability of death. When Prince Prospero thought he was protected with his iron gates and walls death could creep unseen and kill everyone there. Death is justice. When it comes to dying even the wealthiest person will vanish from the world someday. With all their money, power and lavish clothes the prince and his friends could not escape death. Moreover, colours can have a deeper meaning in literature. The author uses colours symbolism to represent the stages of life. The rooms were decorated with seven colors: blue, purple, green, orange violet, dark red. The Blue room can represent the first stage in life being born. We often see baby rooms painted with light blue portraying innocence, peace and purity. Purple is childhood and growing up. Green is the colour of nature hence it can symbolize the twenties when people are full of energy and life. If we talk about the colour orange one of the first pictures we will have in mind is the sunset before a pitch-black night. As a result orange could represent maturity and adulthood. At the end, obviously the dark red stands for death. To conclude with, the theme may seem not original nowadays because it has been dealt with before even in movies like Final Destination however, I tip my hat for Poe’s ability to create such a well-written and original story back in that time.

It also indicates a long term and lasting relationship. Fourth house synastry is a warm pumpkin soup in a cold winter day.
5th house synastry
The house of romance, children and entertainment. It’s playful and fiery just like Leo energy. The rising signs part 2 🌅
Scorpio rising
Lana Del Rey, Lily Depp, Nicole Kidman are all Scorpio risings. Something particular I noticed about them is that they have siren eyes that pierce into your soul. They also excel in acting and modeling. Scorpio rising gives black sheep energy due to their intimidating and dark aura. They hate pretense and fake people and can spot a mischievous person a mile away. Their soul is old and intense always seeking deeper meaning. The latter can make them interested in the occult and the supernatural. The life of a Scorpio rising can be a rollercoaster full of ups and downs but it’s just a matter of time before they develop thicker skin and rise victorious.
Cancer rising
Round face and puppy eyes, is the first thing that comes to my mind. Cancer risings have innocent, doll-like features. Unlike Capricorn risings they are very expressive with their face. Like other cancer placement cancer risings are nurturing and make excellent parents. I like how Angelina is affectionate and loving towards all of her children. Cancer is the mother of the zodiac. They are also extremely sensitive but they hide it. Another important point to mention is that they may have stomach/ digestion issues, I am a cancer rising in sidereal and I have celiac disease.
Pisces rising
Sleepy dreamy eyes, peaceful aura, soft features, Pisces risings have an ethereal beauty. Since Pisces rule the hands and feet they tend to have nice hands and use them a lot when talking. They also like to get creative with their hands so activities like cooking, painting, knitting, pottery seem very appealing to them. These individuals are deeply spiritual people and rely on their intuition. Ryan Gosling, Michael Jackson and Johnny Cash have an aura of innocence and purity.
Earth rising
Capricorn rising
Many Capricorn risings have dark features usually defined jawline,curly hair and sharp eyes. They like elegant clothes, minimal look think of clean girl aesthetic. Capricorn risings are reserved. They love being a mystery to people. Sometimes they even like to create a fake persona different from their real personality. They also tend to be into arts and reading about multiple subjects. Taurus risings have mesmerizing voices, this placement can make the person a good singer. They have beautiful features especially their eyes and neck. When it comes to personality they can be introverted and such a gentle soul but they will also fight back if their boundaries are crossed.
Virgo rising
Virgo risings often have pale skin, dark hair, and sharp faces. Another common trait is that they have beautiful eyes they remind me of fairies or elves. Some even look much younger than their age. I find Timothée Chalamet to be the best representation. When it comes to their styles it tends to be simple or preppy style. Hygiene and structure is very important. Think of Keanu Reeves, Christina Ricci, Emma Watson they always look presentable and put together. They are detail oriented they just notice everything!

What is shadow work?
🌱 Shadow work is deep diving into your heart, mind and soul. It’s a meditation on what really bothers you, pains you and matters to you. Shadow work can be really uncomfortable as you have to be transparent and honest to yourself. You have to face your shadow self and some parts you have hidden even from yourself. At the end it helps you reach acceptance, and processing traumas, unhealed emotional wounds and understanding yourself and your surroundings better.🌱
These are some shadow work prompts I worked with so far, I will add more with time. I hope it will be helpful.

It’s a symbol of the mother, hence it’s is nurturing and caring. Cancers don’t fall for shallowness, they need emotional connection. They need to know and understand everything about you and they will because their intuition is so strong. Cancer is also a homebody, they would seek to get to know to your family and even introduce you to theirs. They will constantly tell their friends and family about you and bring you everywhere with them. They will stare at you a lot and their eyes will sparkle because you are now their home.

🖤 When Pisces placements fall in love they tend to have constant dreams about the other person this can be applied to other water placements but I feel it’s more common with them.
