Judy Gemstone and Shiv Roy are white rich billionaire girlboss yearning to rise up to the top of the family boss and prove to all the men in her family that she can do what they can do and are married to a milquetoast middle class man they cheated on. Big difference is Judy is openly and loudly weird and nasty and truly loves her family and husband vice versa in spite of all their dysfunctions. While Shiv keeps up composed appearances but is now stuck in a miserable estranged marriage and burnt bridges with one of her brothers.

Holding up S1 as the peak of TWD with Darabont’s firing being the start of the show’s downfall is so lame considering S3 - S4 are the actual best seasons and we had some adaptational changes to characters and relationships that were better than in the source material.

Behold! An homage to Stardust Crusaders based on my travel photos taken at Haw Par Villa. Sadly the Tiger Balm Garden that the SDC cast visits in Hong Kong was demolished in 2004, but I got to visit its sibling in Singapore. It was honestly a super charming destination even with my geeky intentions aside, but it felt in the spirit of the series to take the Jojos with me while I toured Asia this winter.

Today is Armenian genocide remembrance day. On april 24, 1915 started mass deportations of hundreds of Armenian intelectuals and community leaders, who were (most of the time) eventually killed. Armenian women and children were systematically r//ed and forcibly converted into islam. There were more than 2 milion Armenians in ottoman empire prior to ww1, 1,5 milion of them were viciously killed. Three millennia of Armenian civilaziation in eastern Anatolis was fully destroyed. Turkey today refuses to acknowledge genocides of christian minorities in early 20th century.
Do you know that mass ethnic cleansing of Armenians in ottoman empire inspired Lemkin to coin the term 'genocide'?
Last year in september azerbaijan allied with turkey initiated a war against Armenia. More that 5000 Armenians were murdered, thousands of Armenia families had to live their ancestrial land to not get murdered. There are hundreds of vids on internet where armenian p.o.w.s are tortured. Recently azerbaijan opened a "museum" displayind dead or dying Armenians and kids were allowed to visit it.
