I have finished 3 books so far this year, which I’m fairly impressed with given everything I do on a daily basis.
1. The Heart Principle: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
2. Burn For Me: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3. Fix Her Up: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Clear least favorite was Fix Her Up. It wasn’t especially bad or anything, it was just pretty fine in comparison to the other two.
I’m currently in the middle of three books right now:
1. Pride and Prejudice (Reread)
2. House of Flame and Shadow
3. A Song of Wraiths and Ruin (Reread)
I read and LOVED A Song of Wraiths and Ruin back when it first came out, but got so busy with grad school that I never got a chance to read the sequel, so I’m rereading as reminder.
Pride and Prejudice is great! I want to read more classics this year, but I don’t want it to be stressful so I’m taking my time. Loving it way more than I did the first time when I read it for class.
Definitely think I should’ve read A Court of Silver Flames before starting House of Flame and Shadow, but we are in it now!
Well, as happy as it can be being back at work after a longer needed break. But oh well.
In terms of reading, I’m making my way through Pride and Prejudice. This is my second time reading it, but I just rewatched the BBC’s Pride and Prejudice and felt a hankering. I also read it at break neck speed the first time, so it’s nice to take it slow and really enjoy it this time.
I am also listening to the audiobook for The Heart Principle. So far, I’m enjoying the female narrator more than the male, but I’m excited to see how this one goes. I read the first two books in 2021, I’m excited to be back their world. I can already tell this is going to be a more serious one.
