Hey anon! If you're referring to the fact that it is mentioned in the prologue that MC's mom was pregnant... then yes, MC was supposed to have a sibling. Fortunately or not, they never had a chance to come through.

Hey guys! I had been preparing a special post for Fathers' Day, that would be a scenario showing how each of the ROs would celebrate it but then I realised 2 things:
1 - Most of them don't have a (living) father
2 - Fathers' Day was definitely not a thing in the time period they live in, neither for mages or for humans.
So sorry for not posting anything because I got kinda sad when I realised I became one of those authors who make almost all of their characters not have at least one of their parents, as if they were some sort of Disney Princesses.
Maybe I'll come later with a RO scenario nobody asked for but that I felt like writing anyway to compensate for it.

"There is a love story which has left a mark on the History of Portugal: the tale of forbidden love between Infante Peter and Inês de Castro, lady-in-waiting to his wife Constance. Although he was married, the Infante would have secret romantic meetings with Inês in the gardens of Quinta das Lágrimas. When Constance died in 1345, Peter and Inês lived as a married couple, a decision which angered King Afonso IV, his father, who was strongly opposed the relationship. The court and the people also disapproved of it.
Peter and Inês lived at Santa Clara Palace, in Coimbra, with their three children for many years. However, King Afonso IV, who was constantly under pressure because of the growing disapproval of the union within the court, decided to order the murder of Inês de Castro in January 1355. Deranged by pain, Peter led an uprising against the King and would never forgive his father for murdering his lover. When he finally took the crown in 1357, Peter ordered the arrest and execution of Inês’ murderers by ripping their hearts out. This action earned him the title of “the Cruel”. Later, after swearing that he had secretly married Inês de Castro, King Peter demanded that she be recognized as Queen of Portugal. In April 1360, he ordered the body of Inês to be moved from Coimbra to the Royal Monastery of Alcobaça, where two magnificent tombs were built so that he could rest next to his eternal lover forever."

Mage Characters' Appearances
Hello! I realised some time ago that I only posted the RO's artbreeders and never came to post the other characters', even though I have already made one for many of them (in order to make the ROs I first made their parents' and then used their poirtraits to create their children so that the genetics would be believeble). So, this friday I come here to let you see how the other characters in Alganen look like (included with a little description because it's been ages since I last posted anything about them 🫠), starting with the mage characters!
Tenar
Your main guardian and your late mom's cousin, your last blood relative who is alive. He's a very serious man and you can choose how close he is to MC. His gift is teleportation.
I tried very hard to make round glasses made of metal or something but artbreeder killed me 😭 So if his glasses look weird on his face, I'm sorry.
Mertio
Your co-guardian and Tenar's partner. Mertio usually is very high-spirited and is always trying to make MC feel welcomed no matter what relationship option you choose to have with him and Tenar. His gift is empathy.
Casleren
She used to be your mom's best friend and is Nesteri's mother. They say since your mother's death she has never been the same. Her gift is mimicking.
Demartion
They are Casleren's ex-partner and Nesteri's parent. They actually weren't born in the same mage village than the others, but migrated when they fell in love with Casleren. Poor thing must be regretting their life choices so much right now...
Their gift is super strengh
Caslere (upon death)
She's your mother. She had MC with a human whose fate is unknown to you. After the invasion, the king took a liking to her and arranged for their union despite all reason. Caslere tried everything in her unique position to do something to help the mages but in the end it was all for nothing. Upon her very early death, you were exiled and your adventure began.
Her gift was healing.

Hey! Yesterday was my birthday so I gave myself a break from writing and ended up not posting anything. Today I'm going out to celebrate so instead of risking another day without posting, here: have a drawing I made of Princess Rosalia because I'm a simp.
I'm no artist. I don't know proportions, I don't know shading, I don't know coloring. I only had classes when I was like, 10, and they never included digital art. But I still had loads of fun drawing it (except when the ibis app annoyed me, which tbh was more often than it should).

Just realized that all of the options the player has to set their relationship with Nesteri are positive 🤡 My bias was definitely showing and nobody warned me.
Next update, the prologue will contain some extra options for negative or neutral starting relationships with Nesteri, so that the player can have more freedom to pursue whatever storyline they want with our favourite (and only) mage RO. Also, I remember a friend of mine really wanted to go for a "enemies to lovers route" with them and I hope I have made it possible now 😉
