Being agender is so cool. You just don’t have a gender? Awesome af. You have a gender but it doesn’t really feel like anything? So fucking snazz. Your gender is very present but entirely neutral and agender just feels like the best term? Actually fantastic. You struggle with labelling your gender and just use agender because you like the flag? Undoubtedly fabulous. Shout out to agender people basically.

Figuring out you're agender can be especially difficult, since it's a lack of a gender many people just assume that's the case for everybody. Taking a long time to discover that you're agender is okay.
lots of love and support for all agender people who took a long time to realize they were agender! figuring out your gender is hard and it doesn’t make you any less agender for taking more time to come to the realization.

You can be agender and use she/her
You can be agender and use he/him
You can be agender and be a lesbian
You can be agender and be gay
You don't have to find other pronouns and terms to use if those fit you best
You can be agender and be you

its so hard to parse out whether I'm actually agender or not cause personally I feel pretty detached from gender but at the same time I'm like, politically attached to womanhood b/c of how having an afab body changes how I'm treated by society/the law and idk how to separate those feelings enough to figure any of it out or whether I even want to figure it out
Hello anon, I believe I've gone through something very similar if not exactly that. I definitely feel detached from gender. I don't feel like I have a gender nor do I like being referred to by gendered terms, but in a strange way I felt still connected to womanhood, but I've realized that the reason I feel that way is because that's how the world perceives me. The world sees me as a woman, and as such I have experienced misdirected misogyny, and I always found myself in solidarity with women because of it. What I've experienced is misdirected, but it was MEANT to be misogyny. The only real way I was able to tell the difference was because I personally hated being referred to as a woman by any standard, as well as being referred to as a man or any other gender. I can't tell you where you fall and I'm not sure if what I've said was helpful, but I hope you find it so. I wish you the best!

Hello anon, I'm an agender person with top dysphoria, and yes agender people can have dysphoria. The main reason I have dysphoria is that large chests are typically seen as feminine, and I'd much rather be read as ambiguous or masculine. If you have any questions don't be afraid to send asks my way!
this doesn't have anything to do with sexuality but is it normal/possible for agender people to experience dysphoria? because i think i'm agender but usually i feel a little disconnected with my body and i'm not sure if that would add up with my (non-existent) gender?
Agender people can experience dysphoria and I know agender people who do, so it’s definitely possible. That said I’m cis and not as up on nonbinary stuff as I am on a-spec stuff and you might be able to get a more detailed/informed response from a nonbinary blog.
All the best!

What are some agender or gender neutral pronouns that one can use? Im having trouble finding a neutral pronoun (or any pronoun really) that suits me. Sorry to be any bother.
You're not any bother! I can't really remember many off the top of my head, but there's they/them and it/its. I tried finding a list of neo pronouns to link to but I couldn't find a list as of right now, if any followers have a list please share!

A couple of days ago my friends mom was told that I've changed my name and pronouns. Now she says her daughter isnt allowed to be friends with me or have sleepovers because I "want to be a boy" and since /all boys are clearly straight/ that must mean I like girls and /everyone that likes girls are going to have some sort of sexual interaction with any girl ever/. So she hates me and wont let us be friends even tho im ace and not a boy and I really need some agender validation sry for the rant
I'm sorry for the late response, and I understand the need to rant
I know from personal experience it's hard having friends whose parents aren't accepting and I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Some people just can't accept that the fake boxes that they've tried to fit people in all their lives aren't real and that not everyone fits into those categories. Your friend's mom's reaction is in no way your fault for you simply being you and it certainly shouldn't make you feel as though you aren't valid
