Super spooky thing I drew and wrote about.

A field built on decay. Her flowers bloom bright like gold pouring out before you. Shimmering and shaking in the evening wind, a storm rolls in. Hints of former, giver of present, and foundation for the future she creeps slowly across the valley. Her legs never leave the undergrowth since she is their source of nutrients. 

The original fertilizer, death is her creator while life is her owner. Rooted deeper than her decay her bones crumble. Snaps of gnashing bones ring through the valley, yet the meadow gives no thought to it. Crackling of embers glint off of her bloated and heated corpse. Heat is present in decay of course, giving a subtle hint of life to the illusion that is rest. 

Sour sweet perfume wafts across your face. Sickly sweet pollen shifts the air chasing the sour tendrils of festering flesh. Slow and sickly she glides along the field. Like a weary worker yearning for a bed she labors on providing for the rich gold flowers, only to have them eventually die and join her eternal death.

Avian August Days 1-4.

This is so fun and relaxing to do. Just a fun way to unwind and relax. I love birds and took several college courses on them. (Ornithology and Ornithological Printmaking). You can say I am a bird nerd. Anyway I hope you enjoy these cuties. I will make a post with the process vids soon.

My therapist assigned me some art homework. I have to pick a song that resonates with something I feel or have felt before and just listen to it on loop and create some free feeling art based on it. 

Recently i have fallen in love with Go_a’s song SHUM. I first heard it on Spotify (I listen to lots of Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian music, you all make such cool music okay!?) Later I heard it on Tiktok and decided to pick it as the song. I know it is a folk song similar to the Pegan ritual dances I used to do summoning/ encouraging spring to come forward. I love the idea of creatures and beings representing the embodiment of a season or event. The assertive tone of the song is just amazing. The Song itself gives me a feeling of something natural but also abnormal for most. It is a song that weirded out a friend of mine, but I find comfort in it. I decided to make art of that feeling. Something that I find love and comfort in but might scare others. 

Harsh red sunsets with dark shadows. Bones and plants cast in darkness along with hints of human occupancy. Those I love but others might not. I would love to find a creature composed of mismatched bones and the shadows of since passed plants. The past is what let us be, and death is what lets us continue. I think it is a cool thought but might scare others.

Did this for artfight. I love artfight cause I can tryout brushes and stuff I normally do not use. The character was very neutral in color so I went with a bright background and some color overlay. I really wanted something to be a l m o s t eye hurt in color and saturation.

Large full scene background commission I did. Loved working on this one. My fav part are the curtains under the counters.

This is a work in progress image but I figured I would share it here. I plan to partake in a bird challenge I came across on twitter. Since I tend to get busy I am getting a head start.
