its a tragic kind of song. it’s so desperately sad but it sounds like it is begging to not be. it sounds like it’s putting a facade on to try to seem like it isn’t hurting as badly as it truly is.

i lost my ability to cry about a year ago. i just feel numb now. i’m the last several months, only precious few things have really reached to my core, shaking me enough to care.
but for the first time in a long time, there are tears running down my cheeks. happy mixed with sad. and a deep sense of catharsis runs through my veins. suddenly, i just feel so much. i feel so vast.
