season one of supernatual is so funny to me. sam and dean will literally show up to the crime scene in some fuck ass flannels and dean is in his leather jacket and the cops are like "who the hell are you?" and dean will be like "oh, us? well we are obviously from the us fish and wildlife service who else could we possibly be???" 

meanwhile theyre in the craziest outfits known to mankind with no badge or anything, so the cops will ask for their IDs and they'll hand them the most unconvincing fake id you'll ever see. the thing will be crumpled to no return and look like it was all hand written by a toddler and SOMEHOW THE COPS STILL BELIEVE THEM??

and then, they'll start questioning the victims family like "aw man :( I'm so sad for you :( that must be really hard :( so like what happened? and on a completely separate note, did you see anything? feel a temp drop? did you feel a cold spot? did you see something weird? like a creature mayhaps? like a ghost? did you see a ghost? do you believe in ghosts? please tell me it's a ghost?" like that's a totally normal line of questioning for a random drowning from two members of the us fish and wildlife service.

Why did Cas’ boss ask him to babysit without ever saying anything about babysitting???? Like if someone was making the same speech to me, I would also think they were asking me on a date. Not to mention she may have suspected he was homeless and didn’t know anything about him outside of work. Like we know Cas is a sweet baby boy but for all she knew he could have been a serial killer. I don’t even have kids but I know I wouldn’t leave with someone who is essentially a stranger.

This probably isn’t new or groundbreaking but I’m rewatching season 8 of Supernatural and I’m sitting here thinking “what was so different about the real Dean that stopped Cas?”

Like obviously it’s supposed to be their friendship and deep connection (also they’re in love but that’s not the point right now)

My new headcanon is that Naomi forgot about Dean’s soul. Cas is connected to Dean on the deepest level and he sees Dean’s soul when they are together (it’s one reason why Cas loves Dean so much but that’s not the point either)

None of the Dean clones were completely Dean so when Cas killed them, it didn’t matter. But when faced with the real, true Dean Cas could see the part of Dean that he met first. The first part of Dean he fell in love with, and it broke through the brainwashing

Apparently Mark Gatiss wants to bring Sherlock back and there have been rumors of a Supernatural revival for a while. I’m not sure I’m ready to live in a superwholock world again, I barely survived it the last time around.

I’ve finished two chapters of my Destiel slow burn fic and I have to say I don’t know how some of y’all do this. The slow burn is killing me and I have so much respect for folks that write a dozen chapters before getting to the good part. You guys are the real MVPs and I am in awe of you.

Something annoys me about people calling Cas and Dean soulmates:

Don't get me wrong, i ship destiel, but the whole point of them being together is that it defied the story Chuck wanted to tell.

That was the ONLY universe Cas stayed. That was the ONLY version of Dean that made Cas want to love the world. That was the only version of Cas that confessed his love for Dean.

They are not soulmates, they defied their fates and chose each other.
