Welcome to the 1D I Do Fest. Here we want to celebrate weddings and all other types of commitment ceremonies.
Classical Wedding celebration with all their friends and families? - Wonderful!
Two immortal beings that want to forge their souls into one in an arcane ceremony? - Great!
Pack Bonding dynamics? - The more, the merrier!
Platonic aromantic witches performing a ritual to bind their life together? - Always welcome!
A 12 day long wedding tradition of your own made up religion? - Yes, please!
Time Travellers that meet each other every once in a while and get married every time? - Of course!
Anything that celebrates two or more people committing to one another.
Schedule:
29th January - Prompt Submissions (Stay open) view prompts here!
14th February - Sign-Ups open (Stay open until Fics get revealed)
06th July - Check In
28th September - Fics are revealed
Rules:
There is no minimum or maximum word count requirement.
Fics must be completed when posted to Ao3. No WIPs.
This fest is not anonymous. Feel free to post snippets or teasers. (Make sure to tag @1didofest)
As this is a One Direction fest, one of the members must be included in the main pairing.
There will be no restriction on the writing of explicit, sensitive, or potentially triggering content, though this must be tagged appropriately.
All AUs are allowed such as A/B/O, Mpreg, girl direction, etc, as long as the commitment ceremony is in some way the focus of the story.
