what are your thoughts on revenant making the first move? Would he or would he stay silent?

Ooh i may need to think some more about this! my thoughts here are a bit short so im thinking i’ll write a drabble or oneshot of how things could possibly go.

- He would definitely not make the first move.

- This boy…

- You’d have to get it out of him somehow. Nothing he does makes it obvious he likes you so you’re really just taking a shot in the dark and hoping that since you like him he likes you back.

- Perhaps there’s certain ways you try and find some basis in your wishful thinking.

- You tease him, flirt maybe. Something with romantic intent that may knock him off his usual persona.

- Maybe if you try hard enough or say the right thing you’ll successfully fluster him. That would be incredibly hard to do though. Nearly impossible…

- It might be best to just carefully observe him. He may tell on himself if you watch close enough.

- Subtle actions that wouldn’t be made for anyone else. Especially while you’re teamed up in the games. Nothing too obvious, but actions that when you look back on them, his behavior seems slightly different than it usually does.

- Like maybe when he leads, there’s a bit of a protective air to him. Or maybe mid battle, you see him stealing glances at you as if he’s checking on you.

- You’re also the only person he’s okay with standing so close next to him. That could mean something?

- You’d just really have to find a way into his mind. He’s not easy to catch slipping.

The Legends Receiving Gifts & Affection

characters included: revenant, loba, caustic

consist of: sweetness! long ass headcanons oops! and some vague gift ideas.

Revenant

- There isn’t a lot he’d expect as a gift, given that a lot of things wouldn’t be of use for him. The idea of gifts actually slipped his mind completely until the first time you gave him one. It was a nice little headband.

- He stared at it blankly in his hands. He wasn’t sure why you were giving him gift, but upon looking at it some more, he came to appreciate it.

- He gives thanks with a simple hum. When he’s alone, he’s fiddling with the fabric and deep in thought.

- He likes it a lot. He thinks it’s practical. And subconsciously, the color/pattern is a nice contrast to the red that takes over his design. Makes him feel… a little nice about himself?

- He never thought he’d have the capacity to accept and appreciate a gift. He certainly can’t remember the last time he did or if he ever did.

- Is secretly hoping for more. if his faceplate could move, the idea of getting gifts from you would bring a faint smile to it.

- He also craves affection (it’s a co-requisite with pretty much any other love language you choose to express)

- the act does something funny but exhilarating to his processors.

- Any act of affection could make him swoon in some way, but he usually tries to play it off with a sound feigning annoyance.

- Is secretly holding back a love-filled sigh when you give him soft kisses or subtle, fleeting touches

- my boy just wants some love. it’s a different experience for him and he chases it willfully

Loba

- Loves and appreciates every gift you give her. It doesn’t matter if she can steal anything she desires. The love put into a gift is more than thieving can outdo. The gifts she receives from you makes her swoon every time.

- “Oh darling… this is just as beautiful as the last. Thank you…”

- Biiiig smooch on your cheek or forehead as she continues to look over the item.

- She truly accepts every gift whether it’s jewelry or otherwise, expensive or not. She likes that the gifts you give her reflect your inner mind. Even if it was some obscure, handheld item, she’d find it cute/interesting and would find somewhere to display it or put it to use

- And she’s a huge gift giver herself! She’ll give you anything you ask for or even vaguely mention.

- “Now it’s my turn to give you something nice darling. No really, you deserve it my love.”

- Pretty much gives you twice the amount of gifts you give her

- She’s also very careful with you. If she decides to get you anything expensive, she’s sure to double check that it’s nothing too expensive or rare enough for someone to try and track. She doesn’t want you in danger because of a reckless steal.

- Is elated sharing gifts and other things with you. She’s very, very affectionate and seeing you in a good mood puts her in a good mood.

- She sometimes glances at you and simply decides to attack your face with kisses. Is always caressing your face as she just adores you.

- “You are so gorgeous…”

Caustic

- Ugh i cant stand this guy (lying)

- If you give him something, you may have to be a little patient with him.

- When you first started giving him things, he refused them.

- “You can have it back. I have no need for your obnoxious trinkets.”

- After a couple of attempts though he starts to accept them, but usually doesn’t even open them until days later. Chances are if you place it somewhere where he can see it constantly, he might open it a little sooner.

- If you give it to him unwrapped, that’s even better. It pushes him to see it for what it is and accept it. His reaction is barely a hum of approval, but he takes it nonetheless and moves on.

- When he’s alone he observes it meticulously. Truthfully, he thinks fondly of your gifts. Even if he wouldn’t deem them useful, they still get some appreciation.

- Has a spot somewhere where your gifts are all huddled up and subtly on display. He personally doesn’t like gifts, but the fact you occasionally give him things is something he can appreciate as well.

- He kind of wants to give you something in return, but is super bad with gifts.

- And being genuine.

- And nice. lol.

- He’s quite the observer though so he recalls your interests or anything else you’ve talked about to come up with a gift idea.

- Goes for something simple. He’s way too flustered to give you anything too specific because he knows you’d point out his attention to detail.

- He’d try not to make it a big deal when he gives it to you as well. Will stomp up to you and simply place it in front of you.

- Behind his brash demeanor, he’s actually smiling, satisfied with himself when your reaction to the gift is positive.

- When it comes to affection, he prefers to keep it to a minimum. But moments like these where you’re really happy loosen him up a bit and he may let you dote on him however you’d like.

How the Murder Bots Show Affection

consists of: rev being creepy as always (but i think it’s cute!), ash struggling to fully accept how fond she is of you, slightly messy strewn together thoughts on the two

Revenant

- revenant can’t help but be permanently menacing. He’s no where near a romantic guy.

- he does show affection though! it’s just… very strange.

- he’s touchy, but it’s discreet. it’s supposed to be at least. teetering hands along your waist or shoulder as he says creepy, but… slightly endearing? remarks.

- he’s a weird, grabby creature

- he doesn’t know how to properly ask for affection. or initiate it himself.

- most times he’ll loom behind you until you face him. If you take too long, he’ll grab the top of your head. it definitely looks very murderous from outside eyes. like he’s about to yank your head off.

- he also tends to grab your face, palm blocking your vision. it’s his way of directly averting your attention. sometimes it’s his way of complimenting your face?

- he’ll sometimes even stand in front of you expectedly. blank and unmoving, which couldn’t look anymore weird to the others…

- refers to you as his “favorite skinbag”. As well as “sweetheart”, but usually when he’s trying to taunt you.

- any rare moment that he’s being normal genuine, he’s likely to call you “hon”. short and simple, subtle enough to almost miss in conversation

- he always knows where you are, so he just comes to see you whenever he pleases. might bring something along with him? a snack maybe?

- has sometimes showed up after you’ve already went to sleep. He won’t disturb you after realizing, but he’ll linger a bit before leaving.

Ash

- not sure how long she thinks she can keep it up, but sooner or later she won’t be able to keep up the formalities.

- she’s wants to put her hands all over you, but it takes her a billion years to get over herself

- literally

- Ashleigh might be the polite side of her being, but she can tease her sometimes and it quite literally messes with her head

- “You’re actually quite fond of them, hm?” “Silence, Reid.”

- She can’t deny it though

- It takes her time to let go of that no love, no warm, “human” feelings mentality. but she likes you so much that she kind of lets that stuff go. at least enough to be a decent lover to you while still keeping up the façade around others

- while around others she’ll link an arm with you, or around you in some way, but anything more touchy embarrasses her

- away from prying eyes though, she’ll let you initiate any form of affection you want. she appreciates hugs a lot actually.

- she likes examining you. Adjusting your clothes, your hair, or taking note of any scars or other healed injuries on your skin.

- If she leaves you to go do…whatever she does… she sometimes tends to come back with an interesting item (i see her as a bit of a trinket gal)

How the Legends Would React to A Confession

I don’t know, just a simple idea to start myself off! hopefully everyone’s in character or at least not too far off the mark.

characters included: lifeline, rampart, ash

consists of: the reader’s hypothetical confessions, some instances of rejection but nothing too harsh.

Lifeline

“Ha! You serious?”

Lifeline is quite amused, taking on a teasing tone while trying to see why you like her. She’s leaning in with her elbows propped on D.O.C. and definitely getting a kick out of your nervousness if you’re the type to get flustered. If she likes you back, that’s when her tone sweetens and she may even seem a tad shy herself while letting you know the feeling is reciprocated. Would likely plan an outing with you before you part ways.

If she doesn’t like you back though, she’s still just as caring while letting you down slowly. She really appreciates the honesty and it probably makes you closer friends.

“Chin up, eh? You’re still my friend. I’m still with you.” While patting your shoulder or hand with a warm smile.

Rampart

Actually, how likely is she to be attracted to someone? I feel like it’s rare for her. More people have probably liked her than she could even reciprocate?

Any confession she’s gotten, she’s brushed it off with a laugh and brash response.

“Really now? Somethin’ wrong with your head, mate?”

It probably takes her a moment to gauge how serious you are when you confess. Past confessions were from people who didn’t know what all they’d be getting into. Honestly, I think the most fitting reaction for her would be a rejection.

“Sorry, but you’re gonna have to find some other bloke to fancy. Got other things in my life to focus on.”

But let’s say she reciprocates. She goes a bit quiet, brows raised and blinking like an owl before she forms her words.

”Well… wow. Thanks… uh… wanna grab a pint?”

Ash

Maybe Ash is more likely to reject a confession as well? I just like the idea of her accepting it. Begrudgingly at that since she’s supposed to be apathetic and level headed in her idea of perfection.

“Unacceptable.”

Her tone is shocked, but adamant. If she likes you, this confession of yours shook up her steady process of ignoring her own feelings. But she has harbored a peculiar liking towards you, so a side of her finds it hard to say no. She finds your bravery somewhat commendable as well. It’s not everyday someone confesses to a murder bot.

After seeing the dejected look on your face at her initial reaction, it makes her feel something adjacent to guilt. That look alone convinces her to be more honest in her response. She’s not supposed to be feeling anything, but she does; and it’s because of you unfortunately.

Her back is towards you as she shakes her head with a troubled sigh. She walks off, and you think this is her rejecting you. But then she speaks again.

“Not a very ideal outcome…” Given that she usually doesn’t tolerate distractions to begin with, “But perhaps one i am fine with.”

Hello Hello…!

Some ground rules for interacting with this blog and when requesting:

While this blog is mainly for Apex Legends, I’ve been enjoying other pieces of media as of late and will eventually have some content put out for them as well :)

I will write for basically any character! Fluff, angst, etc…

I will accept nsfw but for now I may only be ready for short pieces in a headcanon formatting. My entire blog however is suited for a 16+ audience.

The reader will always be addressed in a gender neutral way. Physical characteristics may vary depending on the request, but the rule stands.

What I will never write is:

Anything treading the lines of non-consent or implying inappropriate age gaps like dd/lg and so on.

I love robots, but I will not write anything that implies them having genitals! Any nsfw with bots will be incredibly vanilla

Toxic relationships and dark content.

That’s all for now! I will update this over time as I get back into the flow of being a writer.
