Highschool au

I imagine stanley being the odd kid who cant talk, and narrator the anti social kid who spends all his time in the library. Stanley gets picked on my the popular kids often. One day hes in the library looking for a book for a assignment. And then starts getting picked on again, they push stanley against the bookcase, making a lot of noise. Narrator hears this and gets annoyed that he cant focus, so he went over and told them off, helped stanley up, then went back to what he was doing. Stanley, having never been helped before, cant stop thinking about him. So he went back to the library a few days afterward, he tried being friendly with narrator, who seemed confused that someone wanted to talk to him. But after stanley followed him around happily, and a lot of persistence, narrator finally gave in and accepted to hangout with stanley. They quickly became really good friends, spending all their time together. And even decided to have a sleepover, thats when stanley realized he actually had a crush on narrator. After a while, prom started to get close and narrator didnt seem interested in it. But stanley on the other hand was trying to get enough courage to ask narrator to be his date to the prom. And finally stanley leaves a note in narrators locker to ask him, and narrator, surprised yet actually a little happy, decides to go. They meet up there and hangout for a while, then when the slow dance songs plays, stanley decides to ask narrator to dance. Narrator was hesitant, but after a little convincing, decided to accept. Some of the popular kids looked at them weirdly and narrator felt a little awkward about it at first, but they had a lot of fun. After a bit they decided to go for a walk outside, it was cold so stanley took narrator's hands and put them in his pockets, narrator seemed a tad flustered by this but didnt object. As they stood there staring at each other they ✨️kissed✨️
