“It’s very you.” He smiles warmly, his hands idly playing with each other in the absence of hers. “You always were a bit messy, but I don’t mind. It’s how I remember you, it’s nice to see that not all that much has changed since I last saw you.”
After a little bit of both of them just staring around the room at her mess, Cinda finally stepped past him, pulling him out of his daydream. Though she didn’t hand him the water. An observation that he chuckled at, waiting to see how long it would be before she noticed.
“I did. I did indeed.” Lucio nods, following her to the living room and taking a seat where she had gestured for him. She was close enough that he could smell her. The same scent she always had, it tickled him pink to have something familiar nearby. Pink enough to where it began to seep through the area across his nose and cheekbones.
He awkwardly rubs the back of his head again with a small chuckle, “I just- I heard you both refer to me as ‘Cicero’.” He stated lowly, “I can’t…. I can’t use that name anymore. I’m- I’m considered a war criminal, Cinda. I’m kinda still wanted for quite a few things. If I’m ever caught I-” He stops and takes a deep breath, running his hand through his hair.
“If I’m caught by the NCR or Legion remnants, they will kill me. I didn’t expect to run into anyone I knew out here… I’m sorry that you had to be told.” This was a disaster. It was awful having to tell her all of this. He knew she’d understand, but he felt… shame.
“I go by the name my mother gave me when I was born. If it isn’t too much trouble, I’d have you call me ‘Lucio’. I’m ‘Lucio Sinclaire’. That’s- That’s my real name Cinda.”
"Wait, was I r-really this messy? Geez..."
Cinda had to pause when he mentioned the Legion. It had been a long, long time since she had thought about them, or about the war back in her homeland at all. Clearly things had gone south for the Legion. But she was grateful he was alive and (she assumed) well. She stared over at him thoughtfully.
“R-right, of course… I’m sorry, I didn’t even th-think about that…” She glanced briefly over to Dodger, who looked back at her and nodded briefly. He would remind her if she slipped. She felt a little sick at the thought that she could have put him in danger just by saying his name. It was best to try to shrug that getting off.
“Lucio, hmm,“ she muttered to herself. She liked it. She hesitated a moment, averting her eyes shyly, then reaching out to gently lay her hand on his arm. "I th-think it’s a lovely name… It suits you. Lucio…”

“I’d say you’re doin’ some important work yourself. Not many people would step into those shoes. Somethin’ I wish more people would do.”
She hummed thoughtfully at that. Perhaps more people would do so if they had someone’s lead to follow. Maybe that was a bit too optimistic of her. Most people didn’t do anything unless there was something in it for them. Even she had to admit she did this to gain something.
“M-maybe someday more p-people will be doing things like this… I’d like to have a h-hand in that s-somehow, you know..?"

we all have lives outside of this and muses are fickle like, i get it and i never want anyone to be afraid that i’d hold it against them like if i send you a meme and you’re not feeling it? you don’t need to answer it
if we plot something and i make a starter and you’re not feeling it anymore? that’s okay too. even if halfway through a thread it feels like it’s going nowhere so you wanna drop it? that’s 100% okay
honestly? you don’t even need to let me know you’re dropping something/not answering something like im not here to pressure you or bug you about replies and i don’t care if you’re actively writing with other people or anything, like if you’re not interested in writing something with me i won’t take it personally
and even if you don’t want to drop something and take literal months to answer? that’s chill like me too okay
and all i ask is that you extend the same courtesy to me <3
