Being a gore/horror artist & having a corpse phobia sucks because I have so many anatomy questions that I’ll never be able to sate because they are too specific for 3d models or diagrams to articulate. I’ll never be able to see the real deal, I’m just going to be forever guessing. Because even just the mental image of a funeral nearly induces my gag reflex. Let alone ever being able to actually attend a dissection class
Like for example…theoretically…if you were to take an arm and slice it fully in half…does skin bleed???? Cut cleanly through like that? And if so…how? And where? Like does it do it in specific sections, or in even droplets. Or is it just a seamless flow everywhere all at once. And what color is the inside of FRESH SKIN? I mean I’m assuming it’s not skin colored considering the rest of our insides are largely red- and my training model isn’t answering that because it’s a 3d model of an mri scan of a blood drained body that’s unnaturally colored
Like these are the things that keep me up at night because I will never know the answer to how that looks visually (and thus be able to draw it) due to me having the unfortunate ailment of owning a stomach

Trying something new. I have a raffle del and an ota del up on my toyhouse! Del for raffle: https://toyhou.se/26196756.raffle-deltude Del for ota: https://toyhou.se/26196741.ota-deltude Please read each of their th pages for the full breakdown. The raffle deltude is ffa, no requirement for entry! Just follow the rules listd on their profile! For the ota Deltude, i am mainly looking for characters and customs. But the full breakdown is on their page! They do not have an AB
The rules for both, and the info on when the raffle del will be rolled, is on their pages. GOOD LUCK

Oh god. I’ve been making a lot of chocolate pies recently because we were gifted 2 dozen+ pie crusts. And today’s pie turned out so good I ate 3 slices in one sitting. But the recipe is like… 60% sugar. And now I feel like I’m high

EYYOO tfw the niche program I use to study anatomy randomly comes across my timeline. This scan is (most likely) from a program known as vh dissector! It’s an old medical training tool used to train medical students and surgeons on every aspect of bodily anatomy. And the scan you see here is actually a wonderful piece of medical history. The scan used in this program was from a fella who donated his body to science back in the 90s. His remains were prepared and encased in gelatin, which was then ground down every so many millimeters and then photographed. Basically creating a physical mri-like dataset. These image slices were then scanned digitally to create a highly detailed full-body mri-like dataset. So what you see here is physical slices of a real human body. From what I understand, this was only done twice in all of history. One male and one female. The project was called the Visible Human Project and the datasets from it are now in the public domain, able to be used for a wide variety of things. The converted 3d models of the dataset are very hard to find these days, and the average joe doesn't have a way to open or convert the raw dataset in a usable format. So it can be a struggle to find. But the creators of vhd, Toltech, used these datasets and turned them into 3d models, creating a training program around them. Used to aid medical students. Making these scans and models easily available to use if you have a pretty penny to spend on vhd. I use the program for artistic anatomy studies and it’s been a unique little blessing to be able to have
