It’s time for the #Apookalypse! (An Easter Hunt)

Pooka, the sensational Christmas toy that took the nation by storm is back and improved for Easter. And with that the #pookachallenge is born. But what started out as a harmless online game turns sinister, and the Winchesters and Ellie decide to investigate. As they come up against evil versions of Pooka, it becomes clear that they are dealing with a Tulpa. Now they need to find to a way to kill it and save the people who participated in the challenge….But it might be too late to stop the #apookalypse!

Pooka Lives! (An Easter Adventure)

Aunt Charlie visits The Winchester Family on Easter and brings with her everyone’s favourite new toy: Pooka! Diana and Rory, excited to have the most viral toy, come up with a viral challenge to match: The #pookachallenge. Unfortunately the little prank goes too far as Dean and Ellie realize that it brought Pooka to life. A scary, evil version of Pooka. Now the family needs to band together to deal with the #apookalypse and get rid of evil Pooka before it’s too late.

Easter is meant to be a symbol of Hope. Easter is a time to Rejoice, be Thankful, be assured that All is Forgiven, so Life extends beyond the soil of the Earth.

On this Easter Day the Winchesters and Co are set out on a hunt for a very unusual suspect. A scary apparition of the Easter Bunny. Maybe it’s real after all. Or maybe someone is in a mood for an Easter joke. But after all is said and done (anf salted and burnt) there is plenty of time for fun and games.

The Greatest Gift Of Easter is the Gift of Hope. Hope for the the New Season ahead. For the Spring has just begun. And Life starts anew.

@mrswhozeewhatsis - Look, another Michelle! Michelle has her own writing along with being an AMAZING fic recommender. She often reblogs others works and there's something there for everyone!

@supernatural-imagine-oneshot - Okay, this blog hasn't been active in a long time but the stories here are all incredible. This blog in particular is a big reason for getting me into fanfic and wanting to write it.

@supernatural-jackles - I'll happily recommend Jen's entire catalogue for your Dean and Jensen loving heart. She's not around much these days but I never reader a bad fic from her and she handled writing about hard topics wonderfully.

@torn-and-frayed - Just go and do yourself a favor and read Steph's series Send The Pain Below right now. This series was one of my first forays into reading RPF and hot damn it doesn't dissapoint.

@kittenofdoomage - Rhi is pretty much on AO3 now but you can get to her stuff there. This is where I discovered ABO and fell in love! Iron Heart made my apocalyptic story loving heart so very happy and still does!

@campingmonkey - Elaina writes for not only multiple fandoms including SPN but she makes gifs too! Single handedly has saved me when I'm looking for the perfect gif but can't find it in existence. She's got another blog too @acklesmallville for all your Jason Teague needs!

@beaujensen - Because we all need more gifs of Beau Arlen in our lives

@justjensenanddean - The reason I get distracted on my timeline and forget to write sometimes lol. They got gifs, pics, keep up to date with news, cons, etc. and reblog other Jensen stuff too so yeah, this is one of my favorite blogs.

@zepskies - Zep is my new addiction. There's SPN stuff along with other shows Jensen's been in like The Boys and Big Sky. She does canon, she does AU and her writing is just damn good (aka this is the kind of writer that makes me want to step up my game). And I love how responsive she is to literally every comment, reblog, ask, etc. She sets the bar high for the rest of us!

The Things You Carry [Dean Winchester x Ellie Spencer (OFC) ]

I'd call this angsty fluff and introspective. Just a small one-shot for Valentine's Day from Dean's POV. ( Check this for Ellie's POV)

Dean could always tell that Valentine’s Day was just around the corner because anywhere he looked there were those red hearts. And the cute little cupids with their bow and arrows. And the love notes that promised eternal love. Most of the time he couldn’t help but roll his eyes at it. Love is for children. Or for people who work 9-5 jobs and can take the day off to stay in bed with their significant other. Love was definitely not for people who could just die a violent gory death at any given moment. How can you promise eternal love to someone when the next day you might just be dead and buried?

Even so, Dean didn’t really hate Valentine’s Day. It was usually a good day for a single man to go around and meet people, if the job allowed for it. Lots of lonely hearts out there, he would say. Most of the times he could find a girl he could hit it off with. Flirt a little, have a few drinks, do the dance, do the deed. No strings attached. No hard feelings. Just a nice way for both of them to make the most of the day.

What Dean would not admit, not even to himself, was that one of the lonely hearts out there was his. There was no time for that. There was no time to feel lonely or vulnerable when you are on a hunt. Or looking for a hunt. Or trying to save the world. There was no time to stop and indulge into that that thought of what it could be.

He didn’t really remember why they had gone into that department store in the first place. It was supposed to be a quick thing. In and out. And then he turned into that isle that was already set up for Valentine’s Day. There was red everywhere. Red hearts, red roses, cards and trinkets. And teddy bears holding hearts in every size. Even those big ones. The really big, almost life size ones. He wanted to roll his eyes at that, he really did. But something made him to stop and stare for a moment. There was a kid a bit ahead, barely older than 15 or 16. He picked one of the bears as he was talking to his friends about the girls he was gonna give it to. The kid was kinda lanky so he almost had to drag the damn thing all the way to the cashier’s and it was kinda funny. Dean caught himself wishing all the luck to the kid. He deserved it after the effort he put in. He stared back at the life-size teddy bears one last time before he went to find Sam. Of course he didn’t get anything from the Valentine’s section. But he did get candy though. Another thing he liked about Valentine’s. The candy.

Then something happened. Ellie happened. At first he thought it would be short-lived. Who would be crazy enough to stick around as the world was ending? Soon she would realize that the further away she was from him and the Winchester situation the better it would be for her. And he wouldn’t blame her for that. It would be rational. But she kept on telling him that she didn’t consider herself to be rational. And she was stubborn. One of her qualities that annoyed and excited him at the same time. They got a thing going on. A good thing. Most of the time. They were both hunters. They both knew the job and the risks it came with. They wouldn’t make big promises or declarations. They just tried to stay alive for as long as they could. And as long as they were alive they found a way to make it work. It wasn’t much, but it was the best one could get in this world.

For the first time in a very long time, maybe in forever, Dean saw the Valentine’s decorations popping up and thought of someone. Someone specific. He wouldn’t have to go out and look for a partner for the night. He could just call Ellie. Hang out. Have a drink. Have a laugh. Have fun. Without having to say goodbye the next morning.

Dean caught himself thinking about that life-size teddy bear again. He knew that this was something horny teenagers got for each other. And nice guys with 9-5 jobs and mowed lawn got their wives heart shaped chocolates and cards. Dean was none of those things. He never was and probably would never be. His version of a Valentine’s date was having drinks and shooting the shit with someone that was as screwed up as he was. And he loved that about Ellie. He loved that she understood. That she saw through him and still stayed. He wouldn’t change that about her. Hell, he wouldn’t change anything about her. But maybe a part of him wished that maybe for a day they could be normal people. Do all the boring, embarrassing, lovey-dovey things normal people did. He didn’t tell Ellie that. He knew that if he did she would tell him it was okay and that she didn’t need more. And that in itself meant a lot to him, but he knew that deep down she wanted more too. Because she stayed. Because she didn’t see him as a lost cause.

That year Dean did something he never did before. He got one of those life size teddy bears. He knew that Sam would be making fun of him for the rest of his life, however short or long that was. He didn’t care. He had the key to Ellie’s motel room. She was out at that moment so it gave him a bit of time to get in and out and done with it. That was the easy part. He put it on the bed with a note that just said Happy Valentine’s Day. He felt a bit ridiculous doing that. He wasn’t 15 anymore. He almost changed his mind but he had already gotten the damn thing so it would be better if he left it there than just discarding it. He closed the door behind him. A little later he got a call for a job. It seemed that monsters didn’t really care about romance. Valentine’s Day was just a day like any other. Business as usual.

That night Ellie slept in bed with the teddy bear. He was big and taking up space in bed but it made her feel better. She was glad that she didn’t accidentally shoot him when she walked in and saw him sitting on the bed. She felt a bit ridiculous practically cuddling a sized up care bear on Valentine’s Day. But in this life, if something, however small or silly, makes you feel good even for a little while, you take it. No questions asked. She stayed up and waited until she got the message from Dean that he and Sam were both alright and coming back before turning off the light and falling asleep. Life size teddy bears make great pillows.
