Choose the song
Research the characters and scene
Write the shittiest lyrics imaginable, just to get something written
Let a few days (or weeks) go by
Delete most of it
Add references to some form of afterlife, god/deity, or event
Spend half an hour on one line just to make it sound good
Write peak
Look around to make sure it is original
Never do anything with it unless it is for someone else
