tears streamed down his face, the salty taste tainting his lips. it was horrendous…utterly horrendous- and the truth was, he didn’t even hate that he was doing this. in-fact, he craved it.

his fork puncturing the meat on his plate, blood squelching out of it. a few deep breaths later he did it.

he ate her.

it was unusual though, despite how awful this action made him feel she still tasted sweet. she was the sweetest girl he’d ever met, but he never expected her to be this kind of sweet

but either way, this hunger came over him. he just had to taste it again- taste the flesh again. It was awful and he knew that but this was something he couldn’t stop, it was an addiction.

he really thought she was the one, the one to change him, the one to be his everything but he still couldn’t overcome this.

with every bite he took, he not only swallowed down her flesh but he swallowed down his guilt. telling himself that this was okay. that this was a part of him, something he couldn’t control.

but in all reality, he knew exactly what he was doing- he knew just how sick this was but he couldn’t help it.

he wished that she was the only one that he had done this to..but she wasn’t, she was far from it really.

as soon as he started remembering her again, his eyes began to fill with tears. god he hated himself. he remembered everything about her.

her voice.

her laugh.

her smile.

her scent.

everything.

and with that he stood up in an instant, running to the toilet and throwing up. he’d never felt like this before, why suddenly did he feel remorse?..

maybe she really was the one?

he shook it off and ran his hands under water before splashing it on his face.

but when he looked up, he didn’t see himself like usual- he saw a monster, a sick, twisted creature that ate his girlfriends. multiple times.

he sat back down, running his hands through his hair. he needed to change- this wasn’t what he wanted to be, not anymore and he was determined. how many more times was he going to do this before he went psycho and couldn’t stop?…

looking down to the table he saw her heart, just sitting beautifully alone on a plate.

he should’ve changed.

but he couldn’t.
