I see you smile
I smile back
You laugh at me
I laugh with you
You knew I liked you
I knew that you knew
I liked to think that it was your subtle way of flirting back
But then I realized
I felt like a toy
You knew i liked you and you would flirt
You probably thought it was harmless
What felt like a possibility was wiped away
It was all just for fun, you meant nothing by it.
I had to tell myself everytime you spoke to me, touched me, or even glanced my way
You meant nothing by it
I turn myself cold and bitter
Because I'm just a toy
