I've had many people benefit from my company, and wonder why I'm not benefitting from theirs. It makes sense though, I bring love and light and optimism to the table even when they bring darkness and self-pity. My words flow like a stream of self-expression and I can express my feelings clearly, whilst their words struggle to move past their throat chakra. It makes sense; I always look past their demons and see into the part of them that that is still salvageable, the part still soft and unhardened by the world. And in that time I've forgotten all about the importance of filling my own cup. Of being surrounded by those that look even harder to see my worth, and enrich my life with the love that they have also cultivated for self. Giving is only non-destructive to your soul as long as you also look out for yourself in the meantime.

Heal, so you can recognize genuine relationships with pure intentions when they show up without sabotaging them.
