Pervis Payne, a Black man with an intellectual disability, has his execution scheduled on April 9th, 2021.
In 1987, Payne had called the police after discovering the aftermath of a bloody attack on his neighbors.
Later, he was sentenced to execution. He has been for over 30 years.
This case has never been properly DNA - tested, and the process of DNA testing only takes a few months at most. His district attorney actively opposes the decision to DNA test his case - even though the evidence from the case is still here. This attorney has refused DNA testing in MANY cases that could have proven innocence.
In the trial, his past was fabricated - of doing drugs (he didn’t/only barely did, and obviously that doesn’t justify the death sentence regardless of amount), being sexually perverted (he isn’t) and being aggressive, which he wasn’t. He had an intellectual disability that was tested later.
Multiple other suspects exist.
We cannot let another innocent be executed on death row. Pervis Payne suffered 30 years because of the racist “justice” system - he cannot die at the hands of it too.
We cannot let death row be a substitute for justice any longer.

Cw for brief csa mention. Hey it’s me
Tumblr media
My name is Kihnindewa, I’m a 22 yr old black ndn bisexual two-spirit (they/them, thank u). I’m a tarot reader, certified reiki practitioner, a writer & im trying to move out in 2021 ! Asap, really. I’m struggling really hard to function in my current situation & my quality of life is trash.
I live on tribal grounds in a food desert. I have to drive an hour round trip to buy food & medicine, and to work. I have joint issues, driving so much is slowly making my pain more & more unbearable. And I live in the home I was s*xually ab*sed in as a child, which is extremely hard on my PTSD. And that isn’t even everything. I cannot continue to live here. I was set to move out last month, with another black ndn two-spirit friend, but I was f*red after blatant racial discrimination & everything fell apart. Anyways.
I usually have tarot & reiki commissions open, and I have a part time job ! But the point of this post is to promote my patreon, where I do tarot readings & post poetry every month, to secure consistent income for myself. You can get familiar with my writing here* & check out some feedback from my tarot readings here & here :)
With my income at my r*staurant/r*tail job considered, my goal for patreon is $500 ! I’m currently at $85, which is amazing & I’m extremely grateful & proud. Thank you all so much for supporting me as much as u have. I would really appreciate boosting this post & considering becoming a patron if you can & you’re interested in what I do, thank you ily all so much.
(updated) 271/500 !!! Halfway there babey!!! You are all saving my life & giving me hope. No dramatics. Thank you
Patreon 💙
*aight I’ve added my writing tag up there 3 times and it just keeps disappearing ! it’s literally just “my writing” I’ll leave it on this post for u

Just like the word “g***y” is a slur to the Romani people, the term “Berber” is also offensive & a slur to us indigenous people of North Africa. It disgusts me seeing anthropologists and historians using this term interchangeably with the correct word “Amazigh” which means free people or free man in Tamazight. If you use this word to describe me or any other Amazigh person I really ask that you dont. It’s the same as using the g or n slur. It means barbaric, speaking gibberish, and uncivilized. Not so fun fact of the day!

A ist of things I want tme people to start doing. (because I’m tired of vapid “I hate t//rfs” memes and discussing whether it’s okay to say f//mboy being considered utmost transfem allyship, instead of actually supporting transfem people.)
Expand your idea of what women and fem-aligned people look like outside of “sexy passing white lady who’s rlly good at makeup”
DONATE TO TRANSFEMS AND ESPECIALLY BLACK TRANSFEMS. Stop limiting your donations to a specific cause too, transfems need general financial stability
Know how to spot when media is being transmisogynistic. And in relation, stop calling transmisogynistic caricatures progressive when they are quite literally the opposite(the mermaid sisters from carole & tuesday, Him from powerpuff girls, magne from mha)
Actively seek out transfems and tmc creatives. Support their work and immerse yourself in what they’re trying to express.
Understand that transmisogyny is rooted in anti-Blackness and racism. Your feelings are going to get hurt in the process of unlearning anti-Blackness and transmisogyny
This is all still incredibly surface-level. Transfems and tmc people feel free to add on. Tme people reblog pls but do not derail

Day 16 of Black History Month and I’m honoring Flip Wilson. He was an American comedian and actor best known for his television appearances during the late 1960s and 1970s. From 1970 to 1974, Wilson hosted his own weekly variety series The Flip Wilson Show, and introduced viewers to his recurring character Geraldine. The series earned Wilson a Golden Globe and two Emmy Awards, and it was the second highest-rated show on network television for a time. Wilson was the first African American to host a successful TV variety show.

Cottagecore block list
this list includes tradwifes, nazis, white supremacist, etc who tumblr can’t seem to get rid of, for some reason.
Any blog with a * means that it is extra abhorrent
*@/mothertounge
@/tradhobbit
@/mossyredwood (I literally got a majority of these blogs from the following section of her blog)
@/fedkaczynski
*@/slavabogu
@/antoher-trad-girl-blr
*@/punishedpebbleofgod (literally has an iron cross)
*@/hannaabullk
*@/moondove
@/veiligplekje (extremely popular cottagecore blog. Idk if you guys just don’t care about her horrible political takes or you just ignore it for pictures of cows but she is SUPER racist and no aesthetic should be above your supposed morals)
@/fairmaidnelly
I’m sure there are other blogs but these were the ones on my personal block list. But if you’re in the cottagecore community and you don’t understand why people are unnerved by the aesthetic just look at the blogs here. It’s a hotbed of racism and nazism under the guise of a simple life.
RIP my mental health
