COOL DETECTIVE GIRLIES STYLE SWAP
I thought the hardest style to imitate would be Apollo Justice but that ended up being the easiest. Adapting Lynne to the Layton art style was quite tricky but i got there :)
Also I dont know if that pink highlight on Ema's hair fits the style but i thought that color looked cool hehe
*as always I'm awful at Image Description, if you have any corrections or additions let me know 👍

Stardew Personality Swap! ft. Emily and Shane
Emily <-->Shane
With a confident stride, Shane opens the doors to the Stardrop Saloon, holding it open to let Emily pass on through. Today was pretty good for him, considering he wasn't yelled at by Morris for not being in three places at once or for cleaning up a mess that a kid made two seconds ago, or some other impossible to take care of task that he had no involvement in. Besides, with the full understanding that all of his hard work at this soulless job is another dollar put to Jas's future, he still has the motivation and drive to push on through, knowing that his niece is well cared for. A small part of him wishes that she'd be able to open up to him, but Jas can't help but to feel wary to him. Perhaps she's shy, or maybe she's not fond of him. Regardless, he's okay with it. He understands that everything takes time, and even for a kid, Jas is free to make her own choices and opinions.
As he takes a seat, he patiently waits for Emily to get behind the counter to order a beer. Emily lazily scratches into another forming tear on her iconic red dress as she casually looks for a clean beer glass. She has all the means and know-how to stitch it back up, or even sew a new dress, but she lacks all the motivation to take care of it. "It doesn't even matter, the negative aura enveloping the world surely will undo any effort to fix it, so why even bother doing anything?" Gus slides a clean glass to her, and stares at her. She's running late to work again, but she didn't say so much as a word about it. Shaking his head, he returns to the counter to tend to the other patrons.
Shane attempts to talk to her, since he's in a rather chatty mood. "So, Emily, how's your sister? Are you two managing alright living on your own?" As chatty as he was, he was blissfully unaware of landmine he stepped on. Emily did not want to think about her family at all. After the pain of having her own parents leave her and her sister all by themselves, she had to bear the brunt of all the responsibilities of what her parents left behind, as well as her sister's growing attitude with her straining their relationship, as well as the general task of making sure there's still a house they can live in. She knows in her heart she loves Haley and her parents, but living in this circumstance is making her question the purpose of any of it, if all the spirits she believed and was ever interested in were there only to mock her and make her suffer.
"Tsk. It's fine. Don't order anything else from me." She bitterly replies. After abruptly turning around, Shane takes the hint and tries to chat to someone else instead. He nonetheless continues to maintain a chipper mood and drinks a second beer, and another, finally stopping after the fifth beer, if only because the Saloon's closing. Shane gets ready for another long day tomorrow, since on top of the work he still needs to do, he also plans on tending to the chickens in Marnie's coop. After all, those chickens and the farmer buying things are what helps keep food on the table for the three of them. Whistling a jaunty tune to himself and hands in his tattered jacket, he skips back home, mentally prepared for the next day.
Not far behind him, Emily emerges from the Saloon. Gus mentioned to her about needing to be there a little earlier next time, but she wordlessly leaves without any acknowledgement of what he said. There's not much for to look forward to tomorrow. She's just gonna wake up in the afternoon again to go to the saloon and serve more people their poison. As she opens the door and goes into her room, she eyes the stereo in her room. She tries to do the motions for the dance she learned a long time ago, but her body drags and refuses to move. With a heavy sigh, she lies down, wincing at the ceiling, hoping and praying that a tear can finally fall. But the spirits are less than kind. Emily turns to the side and tries to sleep off the emptiness, knowing the effort is in vain.

Friendship dynamic with you, Emily & Shane
To help me get my fanfic started already. I mean I did start it, but didn't get too far :'D
Might make a part 2
TW: heavy language
Gender: neutral
Befriending Emily is so easy and quick with her friendly and open character. Also you immediately seem interesting and fun for her, because you have the guts to move from a big city to a small town like this.
She's good to have by your side since she's helping you get to know everyone without you having to force yourself to make small talk.
The main reason you go to the saloon is to hang out with her honestly and she's the one who magically managed to make Shane befriend you. Or rather guided him towards not being an absolute shit to you at least.
So you start to sit at his corner and when Emily isn't busy she hangs out in said corner as well.
If it weren't for the two of you Shane wouldn't eat anything besides frozen pizza and pepper poppers from time to time.
"I will force those vegetables down your throat, Shane."
"And I'll hold you down."
"What the fuck..."
Emily and you watch over Jas regularly when Marnie is busy, Shane is at work and Penny can't teach.
You and Shane are Emily's fashion show victims. Whenever she has something new she calls you guys up. Most of the time the outfits look absolutely stunning, but other times they're...a little bit unique.

Meanwhile Emily admiring her work:
Tumblr media
They help you so much around your farm. Shane is a certified chicken whisperer which he sometimes gets bullied for by the two of you.
"That's why I prefer the chicken's company over yours."
"Because they can't run from your constant fangirling over the Tunnelers."
"You take that back right now."
But you guys do let him fangirl. Just not on a daily basis.
You have a group chat where Emily keeps you updated on the Town's tea. Shane pretends he's not interested.
"Guys, you will never guess who visited Lewis last night."
"No one cares, Emily."
"Alright then I'll only tell (your name)."
"..."
"No, tell me too."
"On second thought, I don't think I should actually tell you."
It's a secret between you and Emily that you swore to take into your grave.

Random Headcanon with Abigail, Sam, Sebastian and their families
Many years ago, Pelican Town was a smaller place. It wasn’t a community, it was a group of individuals trying to get by, or families at best. One of those families was Kent and Jodi. Kent, as a younger, slightly more starry-eyed yet still realistic man, knows a war could be impending, and made the decision to move there, as Pelican Town was fairly insulated from the potential terrors of war, and he above all else wants his pregnant wife to be safe. With his duties as a soldier, he can fight in the war knowing that at home, Jodi, Sam, and eventually Vincent will be taken care of. Just by sheer luck though, it was only a couple of years after Vincent was born that he was called to arms, giving him plenty of time to spend with Jodi and Sam during those crucial years when Sam was still a child, and he only wished that he could have done the same for Vincent.
Later down the line, Pierre and Caroline moved in, not yet married, yet young, dumb, and in love. Caroline, initially enticed by getting away from the city for something different, made the decision to move there, with Pierre’s full support with that sentiment. But as Pierre met the other villagers, he realized that with the aid and support of the old farmer on the far east side of town, he’d be able to support a family financially and then some. And thus, the two of them decided to stick around Pelican Town. And hey, shortly after the marriage, Caroline has a kid on the way! With Abigail welcomed into their family and the financial future for them being secure (until the old farmer’s unfortunate passing), things were looking rather peachy for them.
Abigail and Sam weren’t initially close growing up. Abigail was a rebellious gal that wanted to go on adventures and learn how to use a sword and learn magic and get in touch with her occult side, but she still kept to herself. Because guess what, wanting to do all those things does not mean she’s an extrovert, though she obviously can open up when you’re a little closer to her. Meanwhile, Kent knows his time there in Pelican Town wasn’t gonna last forever, so he did his best to always be there for Sam. Plus, having not seen the morbid realities of war yet meant that he still had that spark of idealism in him that’d be lost over the war, so he still can connect to his son. Perhaps he might have overdone it a tad, but seeing Sam grow, gaining newfound interests in skateboarding and music, and sneaking him into the saloon to play billiards (though neither him nor Kent were great at it, unfortunately), he’s had a pretty good childhood surrounded by his family. And Kent believed it was all worth it.
But by the end of it, Kent had to leave, leaving Sam and Vincent without a father in the house. Sam was quite a bit older at this point, and had a lot more agency in his life, so he decided to get a job at the local Jojamart to somewhat fill the role of supporting the family. But every time he’d walk by Pierre’s shop to work, he’d always see Abigail. Being a small town, he said to himself “screw it” and introduced himself. They chatted, but they never got too too close. Their personalities had the potential to clash. Abigail was a little reserved and was liable to lash out with mounting stress at home with her lifestyle. Sam was oblivious to those emotions and lacked the tact to navigate through that. But luckily, despite that potential, there wasn’t any concern about that happening, just in time for another family to move into the mountain area.
Robin moving in to Pelican Town was considered as a blessing to the town. Not too long after her and Demetrius moved in, the old farmer passed away. The town started falling apart, but Robin’s support certainly slowed it down for the farmer’s grandchild to move in and pick up where their grandfather left off. And it was certainly helpful for Demetrius as well. With his research, and with Maru completing all of her primary studies, he started having her assist her with the research now that they’re in a rural area, rich with foliage, minerals from the mines, the beach a short walk away and even an old farm. And as for Sebastian, his work as a developer meant he can stay at home and do his work as long as the internet stays up.
During a particularly rainy day, Sebastian took the opportunity to take a step outside his house to go to the beach. He can be outside and by himself, away from his family for a good period of time. He takes an umbrella with him, but doesn’t open it so he can feel the rain fall on him. As he passes by Pierre’s shop briefly window shopping, the door opens, and Abigail sees Sebastian for the first time, despite him living there almost a couple of weeks at this point. She introduces herself to him and briefly mentions that she’s a bit peeved from her parents and needed a breather. Sebastian understood the sentiment wholeheartedly, but gave a general “That’s understandable.” Just as Sebastian was going to continue on his way to the beach, fast footsteps can be heard going their direction before a loud crash. Sam slipped on the wet floor and knocked over a nearby trash can. Sebastian and Abigail go to him (Abigail out of concern, Sebastian mostly because it was on the way to the beach regardless) to check if he’s okay.
Apparently, Sam was running late to work since usually he doesn’t work on a Friday, but Jojamart asked for him to come in and that was more than an hour ago. As Sam checks himself, Abigail sees the portable game console lying on the floor, and her eyes glimmer. They start a full conversation about the game he had on there, and notably, Sebastian sticks around to listen to them chat. The conversation goes on just long enough before Sam realizes that he’s still running late and gets ready to go to work. Abigail points out that the game might get damaged from the rain, if the fall didn’t initially break it. Sebastian pops open his umbrella and hands it to Sam, which he immediately thanks him as he checks the game to see that it is still working. He asks when he should return it to him, and Sebastian shrugs. Sebastian wasn’t expecting to talk to anyone today, and he’s been sticking around them for a good chunk of time at this point, so he wasn’t ready to actually say much beyond a quick “hi” and “bye”. Sam proposes the Saloon where there’s a billiards table, and Sebastian agrees, as a pretty decent pool player when he was younger. Abigail pops in and asks if she can tag along, and both of them agree, Sam with far more enthusiasm. Sam leaves, game turned on and being played, and all urgency to make to work dissipated.
Finally, Sebastian takes his leave, but Abigail asks if she could tag along to the beach. He declines, saying that he’d prefer to be alone for now, but will be okay with meeting up with her and Sam at the Saloon later in the day. With a lighthearted sigh, she nods her head and head back into the store.
From there, they made it their weekly hangout to go to the saloon, and they become closer and closer friends from that point onwards.
