We did an outing today! ☀️🥾 Just a short ferry ride from Zadar, there is a hiking trail from the town of Preko on the island Ugljan that takes you up to what used to be Saint Michael's church. . . The hike is 90% fairly easy, on paved road, but the last bit is quite steep and there is some uneven rocks on your way up to the ruins, but it is so worth it! The signs say "climb walls at your own risk" and you have to be careful, but your reward is panoramic views of the whole island. There is actually a big cell tower smack in the middle of the ruins, but as you can see, it's easy to photograph around. . .
