I’m part of the generation who’s trying to make things better for the next generation. I’m part of the generation that grew up to My Chemical Romance, Shania Twain, Avril Lavigne and Rihanna for musical influences... And The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, or I-Carly or even Camp Rock for TV/movies..and even playing outside instead of on a device… Yet my generation is being labelled as “lazy” by the generation that is purposely trying to fuck everything up so the generation after mine is even on the fucking fence about their own future. I’m part of the generation that is trying to protect the next one from failing. Hell, the generation after mine doesn’t even want to have children for fuck sakes, all because of being scared to leave them with a lot worse than what they’ve been given. Hell, the next generation might never get to fully have a life because this world is too broken. But sure, call us lazy when we’re too emotionally drained from trauma that was brought onto us by the generations before ours.

People crying/complaining about how it’s “unfair” that people are having their student loans forgiven/cancelled need to check their privilege. Not many people have rich parents that give them their free ride to college.
