Hello!! I hope you are doing well! I just wanted to say thank you for making your comics! I found David Doesnt Get It yeas back on Smackjeeves during a difficult time and it meant a lot to me. For ages it was the only ace rep I could find, but it also was a huge comfort to me as a child of immigrants in dealing with the complicated emotional tangle that is family and identity. When Smackjeeves went down, DDGI was one of the comics I mourned loosing access to so I'm so so so happy that today, by chance, I found you cross-posted it Webtoon! And not only that, you've continued David's story and you have more comics for me to check out! So, thank you. Hello, just wanted to say I remember reading Led by a Mad Man when it was less than 20 chapters and anticipating the updates. I loves the sad but hopeful world you had created and loved your band of misfits. I was a broke college student and was devastated when I couldn't buy the volumes you were selling. I remember my partner trying to get them for me as a surprise but it has sold out and she was refunded. I was sad when you stopped updating but understood why and was ok with where it ended. Finding out you are now continuing, brought some joy in my day and just wanted to tell you how much I loved your story. Thank you for sharing your work with us readers. ❤️

Thank you so much. This is just, like, super crazy nice. Yeah. I was dealing with some undiagnosed mental illnesses when I wanted to stop drawing the comic. But I've been getting help and found my motivation again after years of medication and mental hospitals.

Were any of you tomboys as a kid? What did you grow up to be? I grew up and found out I was bisexual and kinda non binary. It’s cool how varied life can be.

I was a tomboy that lovedddd pretty dresses but would rather die than wear one. That hasn’t changed.

My conservative coworkers don't like working for the department because they despise the union. Because they're conservative.

So I ask them why they don't find a non-union job? They say it's because the job pays well. Good benefits. Good work/life balance

I’m stuck in LbaMM writing so working on my BL. But I got a better idea for the next chapter so this was scrapped. I’m proud of the bgs though. Also. Finally got unstuck!

Sorry you are going through this. I am a female engineer and while some parts are better, there are still sexist assholes and sexual harassers. Some of it is even subtle like being discluded from stuff. It's super frustrating to be treated as less than for being a woman.

That. Sucks. It just sucks that you have to put with that stuff.

The subtle stuff is the worst because people think you're reading into it too much. I'm sorry you're going through that.

I wish I had one female ally at work. I was the only woman in trade school and it's the same here. A yard with 50 men telling me I'm too sensitive and then me. The department is 100s of men and still just me. I managed to find one queer ally but they're in a different department far from me. The only women I've met are in clerical.

Is it any wonder I've felt like I'm going crazy.

Being the only woman in a trade has sucked massive balls. Getting sexually harassed and cornered. Getting discriminated and bullied by sexist assholes. Having people see my pride flag and then try to harass me politically without having discuss politics with them ever.

I honestly don't know if I can handle this anymore.

Should I just get an office job? I worked hard to get here though. I studied hard in trade school, studied my ass off for this to get a government job that can pay for me to go back to school for engineering. Got the top score. Also. I'M A GOOD ELECTRICIAN, DAMMIT. I'm good at troubleshooting, bending conduit, and wiring!

I'm so frustrated right now. The only thing I did wrong was be a woman.
