the commotion his actions created brought everyone’s around the park attention. you were standing in the middle of it, clueless as to what was going to happen once the guys in front of you decided they had enough of hanma’s behaviour. “this cutie over here is coming with me, so fuck off!” was the yelling really necessary? no, it wasn’t, but hanma took that chance to make it very clear with you there… even if you both were nothing special just yet. his characteristic smile was succeeding in scaring the guys away, and it was just a matter of time before your public scattered away, leaving your “saviour” and you alone. one of his arms had grabbed you in the middle of the fight, pulling you closer to his figure just to keep you in his eye range. How could you refuse such a delicate touch when the grip was prohibiting you from going anywhere? “now that they’re finally gone, how about you coming with me on a ride? just the two of us…” when you didn’t respond, his smile grew bigger. “i’m not accepting ‘no’s’ for an answer. i just saved you after all.” he’s not going to shut up until you say yes, but think carefully if you want to say it.

“is… is it ok for me to stay here with you?” he asked, worried as he looked at your tired self. you needed to rest but even in your weak state you still looked at him with those shining eyes, almost as if seeing him there was enough for you to feel good. his eyes watered, abruptly avoiding your gaze.“i don't want to cause you any trouble.” and he didn’t. sanzu had waited for you all evening, to see you walk by the same street he knew you always walked by. the moment you didn't show up he knew something was wrong. did you take another way home? it couldn’t be, he was sure that it was something else so, taking a few moments to himself he went all the way to your home, entering quietly so he wouldn’t disturb anyone. you didn’t want him to be there, afraid he would also get sick if he stayed for too long. “it’s ok, i can take care of you.” he assured, softly caressing your face as a sweet smile appeared in his face, only noticeable by the way his eyes closed. “just say you want me to stay.”

you two walked a few more stores before he finally let you go, his face softening and a more sincere smile adorning his lips. “sorry about that, he couldn’t seem to catch your indirects.” with his arms crossed around his chest, a sudden idea seemed to pop up in his head, a malicious smile taking over his previous expression. “so… do you want to go see other stores with me? i promise it’ll be fun.”
