Hello there, Tumblites! How was everyone's day? Just wanted to do an update for school and after-surgery stuff. Well, I managed it the first day of school for about half of the day, and they put me back on crutches for school and for when I have to do a lot of walking. The surgery was a success and it went better than we actually had hoped for, which is awesome.
In other news, my girlfriend and I have started a fanfiction account which can be found here. We post mostly KakaDei, but will add other stuff as it gets going. And just for the record, I'm Dei on our account. So, yeah. I hope everyone has a good rest of the week and I'll talk to y'all later. :)

Hi, I had knee surgery four months ago. I tore my ACL and I had reconstruction surgery at an outpatient center. Don't worry it is a lot less scary than you think it will be. The IVs aren't bad and most of the time you will be asleep. When I woke up I didn't even realize I had already had the surgery. The weirdest thing is having to wear the hospital gowns and these weird socks ;) Let me know if you have any questions. My blog is for injury recovery inspiration so I can help! Good Luck!
Thanks! It was definitely a lot better than I expected it would be. I think it was all in my head, because after the IV I was fine. :)

Well, I got my surgery date yesterday. Remember how I mentioned my partially torn MCL and the bone fragment? Well, I went in for a follow up and the doctor said that the MCL was practically healed, and was ready to let me walk out of there without crutches. But he decided to take a second look and the bone fragment moved to the inside of my joint so they have to do an arthroscopic to get it out.
I go in on Monday first thing in the morning, and I'm really nervous. It's outpatient, but I don't want to deal with giving blood and the IV and stuff. Also, they're going to be INSIDE MY KNEE. That really scares me.
Has anyone had this done? And if so can you give me advice to help calm my nerves, please? Thank you.

Hello, everyone. Just an update about my knee injury. I have started my third week of physical therapy and am worn out. My knee is getting steadily better and I am hoping that it will heal enough that I will not have to have any surgery. As it is, my MCL is healing up nicely, but you never know.
Well, school starts soon. First Wednesday of August. Yikes. We are going shopping for clothes and school stuff on Saturday, and I have to go in a wheel chair. Looks like my little brother'll have to push me around.
My girlfriend left for Band Camp yesterday, and I've been bored out of my mind without anyone to talk to. The only good thing about this is that I am catching up on some much needed sleep and getting back on a normal sleep schedule now that she goes to bed earlier and I have to wake up early for therapy.
Alright, I think that's enough for this update. See y'all later.

Hello there, tumblites! I'm sorry that I haven't updated in a month; I've just been so busy. I got home on the third after almost three weeks in New Jersey visiting family, then went straight to the hospital with a knee injury. I have a sprained ligament and a piece of cartilage that snapped off, basically like having a rock on the side of my knee. So now I'm on crutches and am going to see an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow.
Tomorrow is also my girlfriend's birthday and our moms and us are going out to lunch together after I talk to the surgeon. I made her the cutest pendant and I cannot wait to give it to her.

I was on the phone with my girlfriend for three hours last night. I love her so much. Which reminds me that I need to go finish her birthday gift. See you, Tumblites.

Today my mom set out the plan for when we go to New Jersey in a little less than two weeks. Turns out I have to get blood drawn as soon as I come back. Well, I'm terrified of needles and get sick at the sight of blood so you can guess how that'll go. And to top that off, I'll be stressing about that the whole trip! I'm already starting to get sick to my stomach from worrying. But my mom is convinced that I don't have anxiety so I'll just suffer through it. Oh well.
I really am excited for our trip, though. We're going to new jersey to see my cousin graduate from high school, and then I get to hang out for another two weeks with family I see roughly once a year. Might be off of Tumblr that month, though. Oh well, I guess that's the beauty of not having any followers. You have no one to disappoint.

I really just needed a fresh start, begging with a new tumblr away from my friends and girlfriend where I can speak my mind. Anyone who follows me off of a whim, feel free to ask questions. Yeah.
