My young sister woke me up at 11:15 (it is the weekend and I wish to remain asleep) by being on the phone with her friend in our shared room. I told her to leave and be on call in the hallway and she was not. It was too early to play a slipknot cd but it was not too early to blare Welcome to Nightvale on a small boombox.
If you want someone to leave you alone, just put on wtnv very loudly and obnoxiously and eventually they will.

I’ve just finished Malevolent episode 4 (yes, this blog is entirely podcasts) and…
Now, there’s this demon entity whatever in this random mans head. This entity is some kind of eldritch horror able to partially possess parts of this guys body and talk to him in his head. Some mad delusional guy claims “oh arthur I can hear the voice in your head” and how does the monster respond?

To me Mag 34 was kind of funny. The way they just took their hearts out and casually asked if it was normal. If you don’t listen to tma, it’s better than it sounds (it’s not). Mag 19 and 20 aren’t talked about enough. That priest got screwed over so badly by half of the entities and it was a two parter. Imo the peak of season 1. He also appeared in mag 8 burned out and in someone else’s statement. It just kind of connected all together and I loved that. Discuss your opinions in the comments 👍

Not surprised the coffin got the most votes because Joshua gillespie was more intelligent than every statement giver combined. Got a coffin that made weird noises, knew not to open it, and put the key in the freezer. Though, also kinda surprised the blue and white vase didn’t win but it was only 1.5% behind. Coffin wins 👍

Back with WTNV 💀
Honestly, this town is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard of in my life. I’m now on episode 5 and still don’t see the horror. I have to sit there near family members while I’m just listening to this silly podcast and I can’t tell them that I’m laughing at a club teaching spiders how to read and to sign up you have to stand in a bathtub and weep. Just… listen to the podcast. It has:
Parade on November 10th for hooded figures (even the one who steals babies in broad daylight and nobody has ever done anything about it)
Footballer guy only got 2/103 passes because of cerebral palsy and lost throwing hand due to overdue library books. He gets those back but grows a second head.
Said second head is preferred by footballers mother so she changes the list of favourite children outside of house.
Books just… stopped working.
Wednesday has been cancelled due to scheduling
Guitar lesson by the man who used to run the music shop. Only, he’s not back in Nightvale and the music shop where the lesson happens is broken down so you have to stand by the shadows and pretend the music teacher is there. It costs $50
Best comedy I’ve ever listened to 10/10 go give it a shot.
