With A-level results, and a whole lot if decisions being made, this is so powerful. Nothing you do, study for, or spend your time on ever goes to waste, so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
yknow theres a lot of pressure to be successful, particularly on artsy kids whose professions are seen as useless unless theyre famous, but life is fucking hard and sometimes things dont turn out
but i think thats not bad. my dad has wanted to be a musician forever, and hes rly pretty good. but then he joined the military to get away from an abusive family, and then he got married, and then he got divorced, and a lot of horrible shit HAPPENED. he has ptsd and severe anxiety and he could never really get back on the horse. and he never made it as a musician, and now hes 53
but i grew up in a house full of instruments, and he can play all of them, and some of my earliest memories are of him playing guitar on the front porch and me thinking there wasnt a better musician in the world. so. even if you dont get to the stars, exactly, what you do isnt worthless. its not a waste of time if life is difficult and you cant make it, or if you arent famous, or if your work doesn’t influence thousands of people. it will influence someone
there are a million ways to be happy and a million ways to be a successful artist. we create what we do to enhance the human experience and relate to each other and improve ourselves. theres something to be said for just doing that,,,for the sake of doing it, yknow

Lads, lads LADS, saw Bonnie and Clyde at the Garrick theatre on Thursday, I’ve never wanted to play a role more than I’ve ever wanted to play Bonnie, and MY GOODNESS, I can’t ever put into words, I cried, so much, I laughed, the music is insane, Jordan Luke Gage comes into the audience, he was SO CLOSE and I swear I looked into his eyes, the music was unlike any musical I’ve ever seen, the stagin is incredible, the costumes and make up bring me so much joy, the set is insane, it was just all round amazing, the best thing I’ve ever seen, and basically just if you get the chance, try to go! Hey are you still doing Bonnie and clyde requests? if so could you do some headcanons for them both where the reader gets injured (gets shot in the head but lives) fem reader please
First of all thanks for the ask, I hope this is okay, I’ve never written any before, so any advice/criticism is highly appreciated, I hope this is okay! I’ve just done Clyde for now, Bonnie will follow shortly, but I really hope this is okay, and that you like it!
Clyde:
-worries, but gets you out of the situation first
-once you’re somewhere safe, panics
-when I say panics, I mean proper mother hen, he’s very protective over you.
-makes sure you’re comfy, carries you into bed, makes a stack of pillows, and piles blankets all over you, wraps his suit jacket around your shoulders
-he doesn’t know first aid, so he calles Blance and Buck, he doesn’t want to risk making anything worse, and of course he can’t take you to a hospital, too risky
-in order to keep you awake, he sings, attempts to tell jokes, but he’s not the best at telling punch lines, he tells your stories from his childhood, growing up on the farm, and when he saw AlCapone riding by, his siblings.
-he likes talking about his siblings, he’s very proud of them all, even if he thinks they’ve picked boring paths
-in desperation, he recounts his best man speech, that he wrote himself for Bucks wedding.
-when Blanche got there, he stays in the room, never letting go of your hand.
-through your recovery, he’s very protective, you never go on jobs, you always get the pick of the best, comfiest beds, he tries to avoid having to move safe houses, but when he does, he drives slowly, your head in his lap, he constantly strokes your hair.
-driving fast maybe his favourite thing, but you’re more important than that, basso for months, he goes as slow as he can, because you’re his everything, and he would give up anything for you!
