Loving this gel nail colour combo right now. Didn’t use any filters so you can see the real colour. Would you like to see what colours I used and how I achieved this look? * * * * * * * * #gelnails #nudenails #purenailshalo #myleenails #manicure #gold #jewelry #blog #blogger #simplenails #naturalnailshape https://www.instagram.com/p/CGFUtCbgPvA/?igshid=y6gn0ujj26pc

Why I chose to read 20 books in 2020 + a mini book review
Why I chose to read 20 books in 2020 + a mini book review
Since about the age of 12 I have been a lover of books.
Sure at that age it was mainly teen romance books, but still(shout out to all the kids who would go to the library after school, just so they could check out some books to read for the evening).
But then as I got older I got “less” time to read, which is complete horse shit.
Truth is, I just didn’t want to make time for reading. I…

On the rare occasion that I do wear makeup, this is how I would remove it at the end of the day. 1. Using the @no7uk radiant results nourishing cleansing balm. This is a really good dupe for the Clinique take the day away balm, but for half the price. The balm gently removes all makeup including waterproof mascara. I warm up the balm between my hand and then gently rub it over my face to remove the makeup, being extra careful to remove my eye makeup. 2. Then I take a warm washcloth and gently pat away the balm and the makeup. 3. Sometimes if I’m wearing more eye makeup or mascara I will repeat the first step twice just to make sure that all the makeup is gone. 4. Then I use an electric face washing brush that I got on amazon. It’s made out of silicon so it’s very gentle but also very easy to clean as there are no bristles for the dirt to get stuck in. 5. With the brush it depend on what type of cleanser I’m going to use, tonight I chose the @firstaidbeauty face cleanser. I’ve used it for about 4 months now and it’s extremely good for sensitive skin and doesn’t irritate your eyes. So if you’re looking for a good, gentle cleanser that leaves your skin clean and soft, look into that one. 6. Once again I pat my face clean with a warm wash cloth, making sure I get my lips and all the creases. 7. After that step my face is all clean with no makeup residue. If I didn’t wear any makeup that day, I would only do the face wash and that’s all, but on the rare occasion that I do wear makeup, I like a double cleanse. 8. Now that my face is clean I can apply toner and all of my other skin care(not shown here). 9. For toner tonight I chose the @alphahskincare liquid gold. It is quite pricey but you don’t need much and if you have sensitive skin, don’t use it every day. I got it in a set of other @alphahskincare items and got a very very good deal on it so it is worth to try. It’s a very gentle “liquid peel”. Sounds scarier than it actually is. It essentially is a miracle in a bottle. In the morning your skin will look less dull, brighter and over time the skincare brand says it will smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. #skincare #blogger #blog #alphahscincare #firstaidbeauty https://www.instagram.com/p/CDHwes3AYtm/?igshid=1bvpyt01vvgy

We need to talk about PND...
We need to talk about PND…
PND.
Or better known as Postnatal Depression.
What is it exactly? Some people think it’s a “myth”, other people will classify it as the “baby blues”, but in my opinion, only someone who has truly been through or someone close to them has been through PND will know what it really is.
The first time I noticed something was off, was a couple of weeks after giving birth. I just thought…

Most of you know that in May I completely buzzed my hair off. Like off off. I’ve been wanting to do something like that for a very long time but something always held me back. Since lockdown started I’ve been toying more and more with the idea of buzzing my hair but still something was standing between me and the clippers. Then one day I was extremely hot and my hair was bothering me so I thought F it and just buzzed it completely off. Since then, every couple of weeks I do this little DIY hair growth mask which is only 3 ingredients. CASTOR OIL - which is very well know to increase hair growth, lash and brow growth as well. So not only I make hair mask out of it but I’ve also put it in an old mascara bottle and I’m using it on my eyelashes and eyebrows. PEPPERMINT OIL - it helps with blood flow so when used on your scalp, it helps with hair growth. TEA TREE OIL - it’s an amazing anti inflammatory and anti septic. During the summer time I definitely sweat more which means my scalp is getting more oily and more dandruff prone, which this takes care of. ^ ^ ^ Instructions: Use some pure organic castor oil(can get it for good price on amazon), put it in a bowl according to your hair length, remember to mainly use it on your scalp. Then add 5 drops of each of both the oils. Rub the mask gently on your scalp, then flip your hair upside down so your head is below your heart and massage your scalp for about 2min. I personally use a scalp massager but you can just use your fingers. At this point you will start to feel a tingling sensation which is completely normal. Leave the mask on for at least 30 min, then before you wash it out, start with you conditioner first so that way you don’t get any oily residue from the castor oil. Enjoy!!! 🌸🌸🌸 https://www.instagram.com/p/CC9W3PLAYOo/?igshid=ym6nystznzqx

Have you ever wondered how my typical day looks like? Read my new blog post to find out!
For the last 5 months life has been a bit hectic, but lately I feel like it`s been calming down a lot.
Part of it I think, is this routine, part of it I think is just Cece getting older.
Also, I love hearing about other peoples routines, either in a blog or video format, so I thought, maybe, you would like to read about mine as well.

Beauty DIYs (body, hair and face)
As the festive season is here, take care of your body, face and hair, ready for the holidays with these simple beauty DIYS...
I love my beauty products, but some of them can be really expensive, especially if you want to use them on a regular basis.
Being a mum now, I still want to take care of myself , so from time to time I will either have a pamper session or I`ll just do the odd face or hair mask.
Since I can remember I have loved making my own body scrub or hair mask, with products that you probably have in your…

Hair needs a good wash and I need a good wash as well. @beautybyjodie_ I need your lash magic to make me look alive 😭 But also to give myself a bit of a break, I’m going to do a pamper sesh and let daddy take care of the little bubs. If you want to know what kind of DIYS I’ll be doing to pamper myself, read my new blog post when it goes live tonight at 6PM. Beauty products I regret buying.
Read about all of the beauty products that I regret buying in my new blog post. Comment what beauty products you regret buying..
As I don`t wear makeup nearly as much as I did before having a baby, I recently had a massive makeup and other beauty product clear out.
Whether it was because I was just not using them or they had gone off.
Before I ever buy anything, I am the kind of person who likes to do their research.
Well, I like to do research about anything, even before I go out for a meal, I`ll find the restaurants menu…

Wish I knew this...when breastfeeding
Continuing with my series "Wish I knew this..." read about a topic that still makes me tear up.
Disclaimer: this is probably going to be a bit controversial and may ruffle some feathers but to be honest, this is my blog and this was my experience, so read this with an open mind. Also as this is about breastfeeding, prepare yourself with a lot of TMI stuff!!!
This post is to continue with the series I started called “Wish I knew this…”.
I`m not sure how many post I will do in these series…

November favourites
Read about all the things I loved through November!
As it is the last day of November, it is only fitting that I talk about, what I have been loving this month.
I will be covering: makeup, skincare, music, food, films, tv shows, books and random stuff that I`ve been loving.
Some of these things I have only discovered this month, others have been on my radar already, but I am still loving them.
  Let`s start with makeup!
As I have been home most…
