I think it would be helpful if we make it clear what a detransition is. Detransitioners and detransition is only now getting talked about, which is great because it is important to talk about. However, there's not really a set definition yet.

Since it's not a clear definition yet, it gives transphobes and terfs more ammunition. In some cases, people who stop medical transition are detransitioners, but it's not always the cases. Some people stop HRT because they're happy with their results and don't want to take it anymore. Some stop for medical reasons or financial reasons, yet they still identify as trans. These people get lumped together with actual detransitioners, which makes the numbers go up.

I think the definition of detransitioning should be people who stop medical transition and goes back to living as their Original gender assigned at birth. It's not perfect but it at least removes people who stop medical transition but still identify as trans.

It's so fucking ironic that JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books which are supposed to be an Allegory for the holocaust, denies part of the holocaust. On the official holocaust Museum, it mentions that queer people were also a target of the holocaust. In fact, if I remember correctly, the most famous Nazi book burning photos is of Magnus Hirschfeld library book burning. The library where Hirschfeld kept his notes on treating transgender people. The pink triangle that gay men used in the 80s during the aids crisis is the same one that would mark queer people in concentration camps.

Goes to show you that being a terf rots your brain.

On February 29,2024, starving palestinians went to an aid truck to get flour and supplies. They surrounded the truck to get much needed aid and IDF soldiers opened fired on them. 118 Palestinians were killed and 760 injured. This has been called the flour massacre.

After being on testosterone for a little over a year now, I'm in complete awe of my body. Like my voice is nice and deep. My face has gotten a lot more masculine than I thought. My body hair is going insane. Facial is slowly but surely coming in. My hair has gotten darker somehow. My period stop which is amazing. Not to mention my T dick.

Righteous Torrence 'Chevy' Hill was a 35 year old Black Trans Man who was murdered in Atlanta, Georgia last week.

He was the owner of an LGBTQ salon, meant to give Black/Queer folks a safe place to just be.

He was a father, a brother, a son, a friend.

I never understand why people are like "oh it's for kids so it's OK that it's poorly written" like why are you OK giving kids supar media?

Like with Harry Potter (yes, I'm going after Harry Potter again), it's a very poorly written book series. No character gets any character development and has one personality traits. The names for many of the characters are awful, and the books condone slavery with house elves. There's many more things, but if you point out any bad writing, people just write you off saying it doesn't matter because it's for kids, but it does matter!

Look at Percy Jackson! All of the characters have character development. The names aren't awful, and they don't condone slavery. In fact, the books call out the system where the Gods would ignore their kids by having Percy make the gods claim their kids. Harry Potter just went along with the system that let the bad guy rise to power.

I'm sick of people being OK with bad media just because it's for a kid.

Gender euphoria that I've gotten since starting testosterone:

Feeling the bass in my voice when I hum.

Even though I haven't consistently worked out lately (I need to get better about that) I've definitely gotten stronger.

I have a happy trail growing in.

My leg hair is so much darker.

My facial hair is starting to come in, and just seeing it and feeling it when I rub my face is so affirming!

I have long hair (mostly because I'm lazy and scared to get it cut because of the dreaded pixie cut) and when I look in the mirror, I'm starting to see a man with long hair.

I'm starting to look more and more like my brother.

As a trans man who has been on T for the past 9 months, I have gotten dumber for sure.

It literally takes me forever to count the money for the deposit at the place where I work. It takes me forever to do inventory because I have to triple check everything.

I don't understand why some people think men are smarter than women. My IQ has gone down the past 9 months.

So it's trans day of remembrance today. It's the day we remember the people taken from us due to hate. I think about Brianna Ghey and Jacob Williamson, both still kids who barely started to be themselves, were killed. I think about Tiffany Banks and Maria Fernanda Hilton, who were taken from us due to bigotry. I think about all our brothers and sisters and siblings who are gone, but we don't know about it because their deaths weren't reported.

It hurts to think about them. They're gone forever just because some asshole took them. If anyone knows about a list of names of the people we lost so I could post it, please let me know. They deserve to have their names seen.
