Someone ik said that they don't like Heartstopper because "it's cinge and immature". My brother in Christ, they're 15/16! It's almost like 15-16 year-olds don't want to discuss how much money they're gonna put in their joint account for paying off their mortgage. Of course they're gonna want to make out every other second. Of course they're gonna get distracted by the sheer excitement of having a partner. I stg, sex, nudity and substance abuse has been so normalised in teen shows that people nowadays forget how an average teenager acts.

Plus, if you think that Heartstopper is immature then I'm pretty sure you haven't watched the show. The show LITERALLY deals with topics like bullying, depression, trauma, sh, societal expectations, eating disorder, OCD and MUCH MORE!

Cheers to Heartstopper for being one of the very few teen romance shows that doesn't make a big deal out of prom. Like yes, the characters are excited about making a grand entrance with cute outfits..... But that's literally all there is to it. Prom isn't life-changing, it's quite frankly boring, as Charlie mentioned. I loved how the group ditched prom and went to Nick's place to have fun.

Okay, so I have a question. Why do you guys think Nico couldn't pluck the pomegranate from Persephone's garden? Yes, ik that Will, in the very next line, states that it's probably because the fruit allows itself to be touched only by individuals to whom it possesses a threat to but then again, Nico was able to touch the fruit once they were out of the garden in which case, Will's theory doesn't really add up. If you ask me, I think Persephone wanted to test Will and his dedication to Nico. She knew that Will was aware that whosoever ate the fruit would be stuck in the underworld forever and yet, she wanted to see if Will would take the chance and bet on him being able to ignore his temptations just so that he could help Nico. I'd love to know how you guys interpreted this scene.

NOT EXACTLY A TSATS SPOILER BUT THIS POST TALKS ABOUT SOLANGELO'S RELATIONSHIP IN THE BOOK.

So, I'm currently reading The Sun and The Star and I can't help but notice how real Nico and Will's relationship is. There are jokes, kisses and pet names but there is also anxiety regarding being accepted the way you are by your lover, self-doubts about you being capable enough to love someone despite their flaws, and frustrations over not being able to see everything eye-to-eye. Instead of merely telling us that Nico and Will are drastically different, the book does an extraordinary job at showing us their polarities not only because of their parentage but also because of the way they see life. Nico, despite being tormented by the underworld, is attached to his father's kingdom and wants Will to feel the same but Will, being a child of the Sun God and having knowledge of how the underworld has scarred his lover, cannot fathom Nico's fondness for it.

If you ask me, despite my love for Percabeth, I think Solangelo has the higher ground when it comes to showing what love actually is. Yes, Percy and Annabeth started as rivals (if you can even call them that) and they have their fair share of disagreements, but Nico and Will are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and yet they find new things about each other everyday to fall in love with. Their love is transcendent; pure and unconditional.
