So I've always wanted to do a 'Rebel Without a Cause' au because that movie. Normally it's been Sherlock as Jim Stark but after my last sketch I am quite taken with the idea of John in that role.
So here we have John dressed in Jim Starks icon red jacket...as you can see I got totally lazy when it came to colouring, but you kind of need the red to get the full effect.

The next step of the Twin Peaks repeat pattern. Not sure if I like the donut, needs some work along with the layout of the repeat pattern. I like the background tho. I am thinking of adding in an owl and a tape recorder.

Working on a Twin Peaks themed repeat pattern fabric/wrap. It started off as food from the show with text relating to quotes, then I attempted some creamed corn but it kept looking like puke so I added in the Log Ladies log instead.

Lets Draw Sherlock | March 2014 | Video Games
I want to do all the games! It's a hard choice, I have played so many awesome games in my life time! Do I go new or nostalgic? Considering I get two entries I am going to do both. First up is new. I chose Beyond: Two Souls. It's the kind of game I like to play, and I really enjoyed it.
BEYOND: two souls | Sherlock AU | beyond!lock?
Since birth John Watson ( Jodi Holmes ) has been connected to the unknown entity known only as Sherlock ( Aiden ). After 'issues' with his foster family John is taking in by the government agency called The Department of Paranormal Activity (DPA). Within the Departments base John is raised while they conduct research into his connection with Sherlock and in the entity itself. As a young man his is recruited/Forced to work with Mi6's new paranormal division where he is teamed with agent James Sholto ( Ryan Clayton ) as his handler. Soon John becomes to question his involvement with Mi6, his possible growing relationship with Sholto and what it means to be connected with Sherlock.
A extra add on is James Sholto (Ryan Clayton )
Notes: I know nothing about military uniforms so some refs were used. I also use a promo from the game as an overlay/bg.

Now available as Mugs on my new Society6 because i really wanted these on mugs!
A prototype/sample Tea Towel design I got printed through Spoonflower using my illustrations from an earlier LetsDrawSherlock, the culture swap challenge. I did illustrations of cups of tea and biscuits. I thought they would make for a perfect Tea Towel! A lot of old style tea towels deal with solid blocks of colour so thats what I went with. I think the colours came out perfect, however the line work might be a little thin and lost some of the detail, but that can also work for the whole tea towel idea. The original illustrations can be found here and here.
So yes marvel at my sucky photography skills.
… also when my niece saw this she said ’ oh I know this one, its One Direction’ …I laughed.
