can we step out for a second and talk about Wayhem for a little bit?
bc to be very honest I really do love him... he’s like, obviously Adrien’s number one fan (if the fact that he CARRIES A CARDBOARD FIGURE of Adrien everywhere he goes is any indication), but he is also ALWAYS there for him
like, when he first appeared and saved Adrien’s ass by pretending to be him, and even more now he is like the head of Adrien’s following and immediately stood up to the mayor with him...
I just think that he deserves so much more love and appreciation and I really wanna see him more in other episodes<3333

Does Adrien trust Luka to the point of confiding in him? I'm not entirely sure... We thought that Nino would be the choice bc ya know Bromance at it's finest, but now that it's Luka, do we expect them to become closer so that Adrien can finally vent to someone other than Plagg? Would Luka come up to Adrien and be like "I'm here if you need to talk"? But then he would have to be really really smooth because he DID NOT tell Mari that he knows their identity... and why is that tho? My head is going a thousand miles per second after this episode man

The way that Marinette reacted to finding out Adrien was Chat was very surprising, but not surprising at all at the same time...
The way that she doesn't believe it at first and laughs straight into his face (while he seems unfazed), and how she tells Tikki that she perceives them as two completely different people is so interesting to me...
she isn't automatically like "wow, Adrien is Chat = Adrien loves me", instead, she really tries to picture them as a whole and wants to get to know "the real Adrien", as she called it.
I absolutely LOVED to see the image of CN intertwining with the image of Adrien, because Marinette was finally able to see CN's behavior through his real-life persona at school, as well as seeing sunshine boy's kindness in CN during akuma battles <3
AND THE UMBRELLA SCENE HAS GOTTEN TO US ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What was really intriguing was Mari come to the realization that she could show her true identity, and he would truly accept her, because that's just who he is <33333333333

sooo… I was rewatching ephemeral and wishmaker (as one does) and I’ve started thinking: do you guys think that the whole “luka knowing both the identities of LB and CN but not telling either of them the truth” will bite us in the ass??
because as of now, we really trust Luka and we all think he is a pure-hearted golden boy who is at peace at all times, but he already got akumatized like two times (i think- silencer and truth), he doesn’t have that charm that wards off akumas (which we found out is useless), and if something were to go wrong Mari would be completely oblivious to it
also, I’m very confused because when Mari asked luka for help as she was detransforming, she didn’t think about Luka not knowing 1) who she was, and 2) where to find the miracle box… If Luka didn’t know her identity, he probably wouldn’t have found where the box was… (I don’t think I’m making much sense when I put it into words but hopefully yall understand, and let me know if I’m just being stupid)

I don’t necessarily believe in Sentiadrien theory because I am not sure how my fluffy little heart would handle that being canon, but one thing that protected my peace of mind was that it would be ridiculous for a sentimonster to have allergies. That’s just so… human?

And now to the angst...
As much as the cataclysm could have made the plan for defeating the akuma much faster, the team did eventually "not need" Chat noir (tho it was very exciting to see everyone transformed and working together <3) , and after Adrien saw things being repaired by the miraculous ladybugs, he was happy nonetheless, kind of like "I knew my lady could do it" eyes
Adrien assumed that LB was angry at him for not showing up (and maybe he even thought of the possibility of giving her his miraculous - mostly bc of a fanart I saw that is not canon, therefore I'm clowning again). And the issue was not resolved, CN still thinks that LB was angry at him, and he probably still thinks that he is not needed, as much as she has already said he is... he was so disappointed when she dismissed his question for why they were up there in the first place
My conclusion is... this boy needs a hug RIGHT THIS SECOND

seeing Adrien fighting his akumatization again was so heartbreaking... him having to process the info of *his mom in his freaking basement, that he didn't even know existed*, after knowing LB's identity, after being vulnerable with his own, seeing his *father turning into hawkmoth in front of him again*, and this time not having LB around is SO, SO heartbreaking to me
and the fact that he tried to fight it even while he was akumatized, when Mari told him he could... him telling her to just let go because he is probably so incredibly tired and overwhelmed that he can't do this anymore (like he was in chat blanc) </3

Have we noticed that there was no Alya in this episode?
Mari was confiding in Luka, ultimately trusted Luka with the identities, and to solve "the end of the world" (which I thought was a REALLY cool concept, ya know of having to erase a world to create a new one - in a different context besides hurting the characters we love, of course)
Luka was a great character in this episode, but I really thought that they would bring Bunnix into it, instead of having Sass do his thing without a holder (which, I'll admit, was also VERY cool but we'll get to it later)
Anyway, I want to know what happened with Alya to make Mari instantly trust Luka once she knew things were going down
