Hmmm, what an interesting hybrid. We had to think over what kind of treat to give you, we will admit...

We never tried this potion before, but our master believes it is some sort of antidote. Maybe just some juice, too, we don't know.

Im gonna delete this later but I have to leave for work in a half hour, so I'm not digging around and collecting screenshots of everything I looked at last night. Firstly, this person likes to draw pokeask mews/mewtwos so if you're blog features one be wary, they might show up.

Lets start with last night, all you have to do is scroll down my blog to see, they used "sexy" as a descriptor and vaguely threatening language directed towards Eon, a child character. Upon being informed that it was uncomfortable and creepy, they simply said "but I'm hungry" nd expressed disappointment about not doing a redesign of Eon because I said I'd block them. This is not the first time I've expressed distress over people being weird and creepy towards even my adult characters and myself, but its even worse that it had to reach one of the minor characters this time.

Scrolling through their blog there's multiple occasions wwhere they make references/jokes about child abuse and domenstic violence, as well as being gleeful at the idea of specifically causing distress towards someone else's minor character. Ew! Also I definitely saw a post where a character of theirs negatively used queer as an insult to another one of their characters and proceeded to later justify it by saying it was homophobic because the character was like that with everyone. I don't have the screenshots, as I don't have much time before work, but it did not take much scrolling to find them so feel free to add the screenshots and I'll reblog once I get to lunch break. I usually keep my mouth shut on people being weird and creepy towards me and my characters to avoid stirring any pots, but this is definitely a concerning case.

Chase chuckled. “I didn’t even think about doing that before I came here, but now it’s one of the things I want to do the most! I always loved looking up at the stars where I used to live, and honestly I still kinda do since I’ve been traveling a lot recently, but actually taking the time to really look at them without having to think about other things? That sounds like it’s gonna be fun!”

He paused and tilted his head, a light frown on his face. “I don’t really know enough to say I have a favorite constellation, though... I mean, I know about some of them, yeah, but there’s still so many I haven’t ever heard of!” He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. “Sorry if that’s a boring answer.”

Chase grinned. "I'll probably head outside for a bit to try some s'mores, and then I'm gonna go to the roof and do some stargazing! As for dancing?” He let out a nervous chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. “Well, I think I’m only going to watch others dance, if there are still mons doing that by the time I get there. I’m not too great at it.”

Chase nods his head excitedly. “Cool! It’s nice to meet you Zhu Li, I’m Chase!”

He hums as he takes a quick glance at the bookshelves around them. “I’ll admit I haven’t read too many books before, so I don’t really know much about all the different genres and stuff.” He looks back at Zhu Li with a smile. “But I can say that I really like fantasy novels! Seeing all kinds of stuff that just isn’t possible made possible because of others’ imaginations is just amazing!” He lets out a quick laugh. “Honestly that’s part of why I was so excited to come here in the first place, getting to find and read a bunch of books that I probably wouldn’t somewhere closer to home.”

His tail wags a bit as he asks, “What kinds of books do you like to read?“

Zhu Li @Chase: It was his fur pattern that caught her eye first. She goes over to him, staring. "What's with your fur?"

Chase: It’s because of my parents!

"My dad’s a Lucario and my mom is a Linoone! Most of my coloration is thanks to my mom - and my ears and tail, too! - but I actually got the ruff and fuzzy aura sensors from my dad!” A pause. “And the whole ‘being a Riolu’ thing,” he says with a chuckle.

He tilts his head as he takes a closer look at the Fennivy. “What about you, though?” he asks, curiosity evident in his voice. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a mon like you before.”

He paused, then sheepishly rubbed a paw against the back of his head, hoping that hadn't come across wrong. "Anyway, uh... what do you think are some fun activities at an event like this?"

(Nick) Yeah! I’m a Greedent. A little bit of Gumshoos in there, but I look entirely like a Greedent shape wise. You can call me Nick by the way.

(Nick) Well, er, there are some tents on the roof, you can do some stargazing, maybe try to make up some constellations or find ones you recognize or have learned about. And then out front, there’s a campfire and some logs where you can tell stories and eat s'mores. We might be running low on chocolate though unless Willow planned ahead that much? I don’t know just how much Atzin and I ate the other day, we lost count at some point. Just don’t eat twice your weight in s'mores or you’ll be sorry. We knew we were.

(Nick) And er, Willow just recently opened up a concert by the gazebo. If you want to rock out, offer some songs to the Toxtricity up front and they’ll get your back.

"I'm Chase! Nice to meet you!" he says with a grin. "And yeah, I can understand wanting to just take a break for a bit. It's cool that you're enjoying it here!"

He looks around and notices the darkness outside through the library's open front door. Looking back at Amber, he asks, "Do you like stargazing at all? I bet it'd look pretty cool out here with so few lights nearby."

(tempest-waves) Chase @ Amber: Chase walks up to Amber, a smile on his face. "Hey there! It's cool to see another Fighting type here." He looks around. "Are you having fun at the sleepover? I haven't had a chance to do much yet, but it seems like a pretty cool place!"

Amber: Amber faces the Riolu "Oh hi! Yeah I've been having a good time here! I really only joined this sleepover to get a break from my training but I've met so many people and its been super fun!" Amber smiled. "I'm Amber by the way." (@tempest-waves)

[connectedspace] Khaos: “Hey you’re reading a book that’s like… about words right? That’s wild. Wouldn’t it be faster if you just tore the pages out and ate them so you could learn all the words? I mean, they say that’s how you absorb knowledge right?” She plops near the Eternatus, eyes burning as she asked her question “Reading it just seems kinda slow”

“B-But, I CAn’T EAT iT! THiS FoRm DOeS NOT HAvE A MoUth AnD mY OThEr IS Too BIG fOr ThIs BuILDinG…”

“PLeAsE cOnSUmE IT FOR me!”

After a moment, realization strikes. He stares at the book skeptically before plopping down, “W-wAit…”

“My APOloGies… I WiLl GeT BaCk TO ReAdIng BeForE I MakE A FURTHER FOOl of mySELf. ThANk You FOR yoUR OFfEr, BUT… It iS ProBably BeSt I Do It MySelf.”

He goes back to his cushion, curling up and clearly embarrassed.

Chase tilted his head as he listened to Nick list a few of the activities. "Oh, gotcha. I'll have to look around and try some of those things! And thanks for the heads up!”

So that’s where Willow is... huh! he thought, a light frown on his face as he looked at the floor. I must have passed her on the way in then. Dang.

He looked back up at Nick with an apologetic smile. "I’ll admit, I kinda... forgot to read most of the pamphlet I found," he said, chuckling. "I just saw the event and where it was happening and headed for here without actually reading it. And then I wasn't sure where to find Willow, so I kinda just... asked the first mon I saw. Thank you again!"

(tempest-waves) Chase @ Appos: Chase approached the Typevee with a bit of hesitation, though his tail wagged slowly back and forth in excitement at seeing a hybrid. "Hi there!" he said, a small smile on his face. "I hope this isn't a weird question, but what's been your favorite thing to do at this sleepover so far?"

"It's not so fun when you get caught up in it though."

A fuzzy Riolu with raccoon-like pattern pokes his head in through the open door of the library, a huge smile on his face. Giddy with excitement, he quickly steps in, his head swiveling this way and that as he takes in all that there is to see.

Chase: This place is HUGE!

He claps a paw over his mouth, suddenly remember that he probably shouldn’t be that loud. He may not have been in a library like this one before, or at a slumber party for that matter, but he did know enough to hope he didn’t wake up anyone with his outburst.

Chase: Eh heh... whoops.

He looks around once more, his energy a bit less prominent than before, then heads toward the back of the first floor. It was a library after all, may as well start with some reading!

Chase will be wandering around the library, starting with the bookshelves. His ref has been unlocked!

Dang this took like two weeks longer to finish than expected. Work kicked up right as August started, so that combined with drawing this in a style I haven’t before (and probably won’t again, at least for the time being) means that the month’s over halfway through.

But! Chase is here now, finally! Answers and responses will unfortunately have to be mostly text because I want to be able to interact with others as much as possible, but man I am still so excited about this event. And I’ll be sending asks out and making my own separate post for if anyone else wants an ask from Chase later today, once I’m not as busy!

Update!

I’m going to be taking a bit of a break in order to build up a queue! So far I’ve been answering asks pretty much as soon as I finish the drawing, but switching to a queue will definitely help alleviate some of the stress that comes with doing it that way.

That’s not all I have to say, though! I just wanted to thank everyone who’s supported this blog so far, whether that be by sending asks, interacting with posts, following, everything! I’m definitely going to work on being more active in the community side of things (both in terms of sending out asks and just generally interacting with others outside of munday), but the number of people who are interested in Aria’s story already is just amazing. Seriously, thank you!

That being said, I’ll see you all in probably a few weeks’ time! Take care!
