i love ur use of color so much!!! its so energetic but not too careless!! do u have a method for figuring out what colors will go well together? i love using bright tones but i never know how to keep it all from clashing </3
I’m not sure if i have a consistent method when i color, i kinda always already have an initial idea in my head of how i want a piece to look. Ig smth i always ask myself when drawing tho is “wat emotion do i want ppl to feel when they look at this?” For example, if i wanna draw smth cute I’d prolly opt for more pastel colors, or if i wanted to draw smth scary I’d use bright neons against dark muted colors
Giving a full rundown of my whole thought process while drawing would prolly be the length of a full feature film, but i hope this bit helps answer ur question 🤧💖

I've been meaning to participate in @teatreeleafs's 200k DTIYS for a while but life just LOVES to screw me over and as usual, I end up doing it at the last minute and it took me a few days after the due date to complete it.
