Maybe their soulmates end up dragging them away. Maybe I am very invested in this concept.

Summary: Zhongchi relationship made public with hints of Yantao

Characters: Zhongli, Childe, Hu Tao, and Yanfei

The first person they decided to tell was Hu Tao and her soulmate Yanfei. Since Hu Tao had been all over who Zhongli's soulmate was and was dying to know the second she found out that he knew who it was. And the first people Childe told was through a letter back to his family. Though was told to keep it between them due to his affiliation with the fatui.

They arranged for a double date dinner at a restaurant they all liked. Hu Tao was all over asking Childe questions on how they met and teased Zhongli when she figured our how. Hu Tao and Yanfei were openly touchy with each other, holding hands or giving each other little kisses.

Zhongli wasn't much on pda so Childe had limited it to small guestures every so often just so he was comfortable enough around his friends. Zhongli ended up having to show Childe how to use chopsticks which made the ginger a blushing mess.

After they said their goodbyes Childe offerd Zhongli to stay with him for the night so they could see eachother before Zhongli had to go to the Funeral Parlor for work tomorrow. Zhongli agreed and they both fell asleep in eachothers arms that night.

Childe had woken up by himself and pouted in realization that Zhongli had already left for work and didn't say goodbye to him beforehand. That wasn't going to stop him though, with a grin he left his house and went out into the city of Liyue. He ended up buying a small meal for Zhongli to eat while he was at work, a bouquet of his favorite flowers, and a beautiful piece of cor lapis. With that he knocked on the parlors door and left it for Zhongli to find.

Though it was Hu Tao who found it at the door and picked it up, reading the note that was attached to it, with an annoyed sigh she brought it in and placed it infront of Zhongli "Your boyfriend is at it again! Leaving you gifts at the Parlor door." She said, crossing her arms with a pout and walking away before the male could apologize.

Zhongli read the note attached and smile, his soulmate really was sweet when he wanted to be. Leaving him flowers, chocolates, and his favorite soup. He thought the ginger has left, but apparently not. He had snuck into the building and appeared behind his lover.

"Surprise~!" He cooed, placing his hands on his lovers shoulders and placed a kiss to his cheek. Zhongli had looked up in suprise, though gave a soft smile. "Why hello there, Ajax. What brings you here today?" He asked calmly.

"I wanted to spend time with the best soulmate ever!" He said with a small laugh, which caught Hu Tao's attention "No, no, no, silly hilichurl! I have the best soulmate and that's Yanfei!" She said, crossing her arms. The two had started bickering about who had the best soulmate until Zhongli brought their arguement to an end saying they both had wonderful soulmates.

The day passed and they all enjoyed themselves until it was time to go home. When Zhongli and Childe returned to their home they both settled down in bed and embraced each other, slipping into a peaceful and happy slumber.

Alhaitham sat in a chair by a coffee table in their apartment, a cup of tea sitting on it. He seemed rather peaceful, and concentrated on his book, pretty often to see him digging his nose into. Though all of a sudden Kaveh bursted through the doors, glaring at Alhaitham.

Alhaitham simply ignored the other males presence until he stomped over to him snd snatched the book out of his hands, which seemed to upset Alhaitham greatly. "Be careful with my book, it's not often that you can find those here in Sumeru." He said cooly, returning the others hostile look.

"Well MAYBE I'd be more careful with your things once you know how to put things away!" Kaveh hissed at the other. "Pardon me?" Is all Alhaitham said in reponse. "You made tea and didn't even put anything away! For archons sake you didn't even wash them either!"

Suddenly Alhaitham stood up and reached for the book in Kaveh's hands, whi quickly jerked it away and backed away from the other man. "Hand it over, I want to finish it. Then maybe I'll consider dealing with the tea, based on your attitude through the rest of this conversation." He cooly stated. Trying to somewhat make a deal with the other.

"No! I want you to do it now and then I'll give it back to you!" Kaveh seemed pretty upset by this, more so than normal. Which was odd to Alhaitham to see the other man like this. With a sigh, he shook his head and cupped the others face with his and, placing a quick peck on his lips.

"Kaveh, darling, calm down. Just hand me my book and we can deal with it together, how does that sound?"

Kaveh's mood seemed to do a one eighty at the others actions, his hostility almost completely deflating then and there, a hint of blush dusting his cheeks. "Fine! Here's your stupid book!" He sputtered, tossing it at him, and crossing his arms "But yes, I'd like if the dishes were dealt with, thank you."

Alhaitham caught the book and placed it down on the coffee table, linking his arm with Kaveh's and guiding him to the kitchen. The other man didn't seem to object being taken to the other room, as long as everything was dealt with accordingly, and soon it would be.

Ajax stared at the name written on his wrist in bewilderment. Morax? The Liyue Archon? His soulmate? That had to be a mess up, he couldn't believe it one bit. He was a fatui harbinger and he's messed with the archons nation so much due to missons he's been sent on. There's no way they'd ever get along, or so that's what he thought.

With a sigh the harbinger stood up and walked out of the building he was temporarily residing in at Liyue. He just accepted that he probably wouldn't ever meet or have a soulmate. He couldn't see in what world they'd ever get along, so he just decided he'd walk the world alone as he has been. Again he's a harbinger, either way it'd just put someone else he cared about in danger.

Zhongli roamed the streets of his nation. He had seen the name engraved in his wrist and never in his life had he heard the name Ajax. He assumed it was no one he's met before, the archon was patient though and would let time work in his favor. He's been alone most of his life, what's a few more years? Or so that's what he told himself.

He sat down at his favorite restaurant and ordered his usual meal and listened to the man tell stories to the people that were seated around, also enjoying their meals. He had went to pay, though frowned in realization that he had forgotten his mora. He was speaking with the man when he noticed a ginger haired male step up towards them.

"Allow me." He said with a smile, handing the man mora for both their meals. Zhongli stared at the ginger, taking a moment to take in what he had just done. He offered him a kind smile "That wasn't necessary, but thank you." The ginger only laughed and waved his hand dismissively "Don't think much of it, perhaps you can repay me with the delight of knowing your name?" He asked, walking away from the man, expecting him to follow.

Zhongli of course followed the ginger man, he figured it couldn't hurt to tell him his name, afterall he did help him out just now. "My name is Zhongli, what is yours if you don't mind me asking?" He asked as be caught up and walked side by side with the other man. "My name? Well, it's Tartaglia!" He said enthusiastically.

Ajax wasn't going to trust the other man with his code name or real name. He didn't know who he was and even though he helped him out he knew better than to trust someone with classified information like that. Though he wouldn't admit he found the other slightly charming.

Days had passed since the two had met each other and Ajax couldn't get over the man he had met, though he stared at the name on his wrist in disappointment, knowing that he wasn't going to be the one for him. He knew love wouldn't work out for him anyways, so he stood up and left his apartment again.

Something caught his eye when he left his apartment, the man with brown and auburn hair, walking through the streets. Immediately a grin came onto his face and he started making his way over "Mr. Zhongli!" He called, waving as the other turned to look at who called out his name. He stood there silently with a small smile on his face as the other approached.

"Would you perhaps like to join me for lunch?" He asked the other male who gave a small nod "That would be nice, I enjoy having company. It's not often that I do." When Zhongli awnsered him, Ajax grinned with delight "Great! Come with me then!" He exclaimed in excitement, taking the others hand without thinking and guiding him.

Zhongli didn't expect his hand to be grabbed, though he didn't pull away and allowed himself to be guided to the place Ajax had in mind. The two sat down at the table and ordered what they wanted. They had idle conversations while they waited for their meals to arrive.

When the food arrived, Ajax pulled up his sleeved without thinking about the name written on his wrist, in all honesty he had forgotten. Zhongli stared at the other with surprise, and it took the ginger a bit to realize he was being stared at. "What's wrong?" He asked, tilting his head to the side in confusion. "Tartaglia I have something to discuss with you after lunch." He said simply.

After lunch, Ajax of course paid for it and Zhongli led Ajax to a more secluded area of the Nation. He took the gingers arm in his hand and pulled up his now rolled down sleeve and pointed at the name on his wrist, staring at the other in silence to watch his reaction.

Ajax froze, quickly pulling his arm away from the other. A smile came onto his face, as he held his arms behind his back "It's nothing, really." His normal happy demeanor, not really lacing his words as he spoke this time, which surprised the other male. He gave the other a frown, a sigh escaping him as well.

"May I ask if your name isn't Tartaglia and instead is Ajax?" The question startled the ginger, his eyes narrowing as he studied Zhongli. "What makes you say that? I told you my name was Tartaglia, didn't I?" He retorted sharply.

Zhongli sighed once more and slipped off his glove and rolled up his sleeve, showing the other his own wrist with the gingers name on it. Ajax stared at Zhongli in bewilderment, no way that this man he randomly helped on the street was the geo archon.

"I apologize for my sudden intrudement on this topic, but I would like to spend some time with you. It seems we are soulmates, does it not?" He asked, a small smile hitting his lips as he seen the ginger relax. "Yes, I'd like that very much." Ajax said in turn, gently taking the other mans hands in his own. The both of them sharing a kiss in that moment. Ajax was more than happy to had found his soulmate and so was Zhongli. The two of them spending the rest of the evening happily together.

Summary: Modern Christmas Meet-Up AU

You wake up with a yawn and rub your eyes to try and wake up. Then you take a minute to lay there before hopping out of bed and going through your morning routine. Once finished you renter your bedroom and check your phone.

You see a message from a person under the contact name "My Star ⭐💞" who that was? Well of course it was your partner Candace. "Hello, Y/N. I have a small Christmas surprise for you. As you know we don't get to see eachother due to being long distance, so I have booked a flight and expect you to meet me there if you can."

A big grin was plastered on your face, you could barely keep in a squeal of excitement before falling back on your bed and happily kicking your feet. You enthusiastically respond, getting all the time and information you need from her. You couldn't wait, you finally got to see Candace again and you'd be spending Christmas together!

Immediately you are making plans to take her out to dinner and get her a few gifts. You even prepick out your outfit in which you'd pick her up in. You had a plethora of things to do now since she was coming. It was earlier in the morning, but you didn't care. Slipping on your shoes and grabbing your keys you head out the door to get everything ready.

You go to a jewelry store and buy a few bracelets, necklaces, and rings for her. Since you knew she liked jewelry. You go to another store to buy and few things to decorate your apartment with. Once you return home you clean up your place and hang up decorations and set out a few things to make the place look more festive and hopefully more accustomed to Candace's tastes.

After a long wait you wake up again, today is finally the day you get to see her! You could hardly contain your excitement as you got ready, humming and grinning the whole time you got ready. You check yourself over in the mirror and once your satisfied you throw on your shoes, grab your keys, and head out the door.

When you enter the airport you see Candace walking in, you were just on time. You both notice each other and you run over to her and give her a big hug, which she returns with a small laugh. "Hello, Y/N. It's great to see you again." You return the exchange in hellos and give her a kiss on the cheek before dragging her to your car.

You let her get her things situated in the apartment and get comfortable for a while. It wasn't that late in the day yet, but you still had that dinner planned. You both kill the time by idle talk and cuddling together, both having missed the other dearly.

When the time comes you say your partners name "Hm? What is it Y/N?" You tell her you had a small plan and asked if she'd be okay with going out, to which she agrees, so you both head out of the apartment. You knew she had a favorite restaurant and luckily enough you had it in your town too!

You pull up to the parking lot and a small gasp escapes her lips "You shouldn't have." She said with a small smile and you giggle and kiss her cheek, hopping out of the car and opening the door for her as you enter the place. You even pulled out the chair for her and she gave you a small smile in return.

You both had a fantastic time and when you got home you both exchanged gifts that you got each other, she absolutely loved the jewelry you got her and you loved the gifts she got you as well. It was an eventful day and to end it you couldn't be more happy than to fall asleep in eachothers embrace.

Kandake is the original form of the name of a lineage of egiptian queens from where the character Candace is based off. Candace is the latinised form of writing Kandake, and I'm more used to the latter.

Summary: Albedo x Gorou meeting at the Irodori Festival

Albedo was standing absent mindedly infront of his creations for the festival. Music and the conversation of people bustling around him, yet he paid no mind to it. He was lost in thought, though was rather happy with his work. With a small sigh he turned around, about to walk away when he heard a voice call out, causing him to look at the person.

"Hey!" Gorou called, running up to Albedo, his tail wagging happily. "You're the one that made these.. right?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side. The alchemist had to admit that was one adorable sight to see.

"Why yes, I am." He responded simply, though the other male only smiled "Well, I wanted to say they look very nice! Oh-! How rude of me.. I'm Chief Gorou, from Watatsumi Island!" The male outstretched his hand as of to shake the others. The blonde's gloved hand took Gorou's, giving a firm handshake "Albedo, pleasure to meet you." He responded cooly.. he's not the best people person.

"Uhm.. since we're here, would you like to walk around the festival together?" Gorou sheepishly asked. All the alchemist gave in response was a small nod, with a smile. That seemed to perk Gorou up as he started walking around, side by side with Albedo.

They walkes around for hours, looking at all the festival had to offer and even eating some of the food together. They had talked over many things and even bonded over a few things that they may have in common. They may not have known eachother long, but both the males knew something great would come out of this experience. A new friend? Or perhaps a new lover?
