Pick a song based on a bad description! At the end of the week, I will make a playlist out of the results, from the song with the fewest votes to the song with the most votes. If you want to be tagged when the playlist is done, leave a comment or put it in the tags, and I'll make sure to get you. If you absolutely have to know what a song is before the playlist is up, shoot me an ask and I'll answer.

Metal Journey Update:

I'm checking out Zeal & Ardor right now - found them because Götterdämmerung was on a spotify radio playlist and i liked that but then the next song from them I heard was Devil Is Fine which--- blew me away with just different it was?? Both so good, such different vibes.

Wikipedia says "the band mixes sounds of African-American spirituals with black metal" which is not something I knew I needed but God that mix is something else. Devil is fine is more on the Spiritual side of the spectrum and Götterdämmerung on the Black Metal side and the songs in between are just *chef's kiss*

other songs I really enjoyed were: Fire Of Motion, Death To The Holy, Baphomet, Blood in the River, Row Row - but I'm not even close to through the whole discography 🤩 very excited.

Oh and after a bit of a break I listened to a lot of Alien Weaponry again this week, still very good solid thrash

I'm gonna reveal something DUMB about me: I bought a DAC amp for my MP3 player because it's max volume was...nothing. But for 6 months, this MP3 player has been on max volume the WHOLE TIME. And so the sound has been slightly blown out and flatlined and muddy and I wanted to know if my ears didn't work right, and it occurred to me...TODAY...to maybe turn down the max volume and turn the amp UP a little bit. World of difference! Boy do I feel DUMB.
