okay ik twitter is a hellsite (derogatory) rather than this hellsite (affectionate) but also i made a lot of friends on twitter and it’s one of the easiest apps for me to just say whatever and i’m sure we’re all just being dramatic but also what the hell am i supposed to do if it shuts down. what about my threads of the best fanfics i’ve ever read. what about my little art updates that i only let a couple people on my priv see because i hate my art. what about #blueheartsforflarke 💙 or seeing rachel zegler talk to vee and fran and getting excited. posting on my incorrect quotes accounts and seeing brick retweet every one of them. being ‘miller’s #1 fan’ to match his ‘gal’s #1 fan.’ what about all the time i spend making cute layouts and putting fun quotes in my bio. what about snek and celio and stephen yelling about ironstrange to me. no one talks to me on this hellsite (which tbh i’m kinda okay with it’s sometimes nice just talking into the void) but i have friends on twitter. ann and miller and brick and celio and snek and stephen and dorian. and definitely some other people. but like. the point is i don’t know how to not be on twitter anymore and if i have to i might cry. like that’s where i met annie and froot and zayna and leah too, that’s where i ranted about the fucking west wing and spider-man and kingsman and madam secretary and the 100. pls, that’s how i fucking fell in love with my best friend, was because of twitter. without that stupid hellsite the two of us wouldn’t be best friends. which is wild. anyway. having an existential crisis on my way to the airport how’s your night going?

had a dream ab harryyyy!!!! and zaynnaa

so basically

i was at harrys concert just a random concert and it was not like his normal concerts we were kinda like in the front and i dont remember most of it but i do remember him asking to hold my hand and i said "im sweaty" 😭 and he said "its ok me too" WHAT IS THIS DREAM and so i held his hand (it did not look like his hand btw) and it was wet. lmao. BUT I FELT IT I REMEMBER WHAT IT FELT LIKE. and i dont think i asked why he was sweaty but he showed me a lot of other hims on the left side of the stage and i just kinda knew that was why. during this we were just walking?? idk what is this dream i probably sound crazy asf rn. also my friends were there at the beginning like they were sitting with me at the concert but harry took me ✌️

THEB i was at a concert and it was zayns??? like ok...ummmmm ZAYNNNN ILY BTW okay so my friends and i again were at the front (the front does not look like a usual concert btw this is a whole different thing i cant explain) and i dont really remember stuff from this part i just remember we were waiting for him to come out and he came out of the floor like yk how ppl do at concerts and everyone was screaming or something. i feel like we did interact (it wouldnt be a dream if we didnt yk what im sayin) but idk i cant remember maybe i'll update???

my cousin is working at a local summer school for the holidays and it reminded me of how when i was 8 my Qu'ran teacher organised a week long girls summer camp type thing

(you didn't stay at the mosque a week but you'd come every day from around 9am to 5pm i think? and there were games and team activies and communal prayers and takeout at the end of the day)

I signed up for it of course because I IDOLISED my Qu'ran teacher (Zainab, but everyone calls her Jenny Aunty and I STILL don't know why)

anyway I sign up, but then life happens and when my dad brings my sisters down to visit for the holidays, he brings phupho (his sister) and my cousins as well and so when mum asks if i'm going to go on the first day of camp, I say no.

me and my cousin (diff cousin to the one working at camp this year) were too busy reenacting om shanti om-a great feat when only one of us has seen the movie, and one of us has been told the entire plot in whispers in bed the night before so as not to alert the Parents through the baby monitor, but i digress.

so my cousin is directing my every move, (she made me mukesh. go figure.) she's lying on the table as shanti and dying dramatically while I do my evil laugh when I stop abruptly, staring out of the window in horror.

(we were playing in the front room, which looks directly out onto the street)

outside, i'd seen a car pull up in front of our house and stop. as I watched, Jenny Aunty gets out and starts walking towards the front door.

Panic

I am 8 years old and FREAKING OUT. why is she here? is she gonna be angry at me for not going to camp even though i signed up? did I BREAK THE RULES???

i try to hide, but mum drags me out to talk to her as she explains that our family is here and that's why I didn't want to go. I nod along, hoping this will be a sufficient reason for her to LEAVE

(it is not)

she tells us that there's more than enough space for everyone to come, invites my sisters and cousin to come as well, and we all traipse into her car and go to mosque. right then and there

though i was mortified by my late entrance, being LED IN by the camp leader, i did however glean a fair amount of satisfaction from having an actual printed badge with my name on it where my family got blank ones and had theirs written on instead
