Mini-review:
I'm a huge fan of the Shrek movies (at this point I've lost count of how many times I've seen the first two), but for some reason I never got around to watching Puss in Boots. The release of the sequel, which looks incredible, finally made me give this a chance. It's very predictable, but it's also pretty short and moves at a very breezy pace. Because of that, it turns into a really fun adventure that never gets boring and is over before you even realize it. It's not a groundbreaking piece of cinema, nor is it anywhere near the level of the first two Shrek movies, but it's still an enjoyable way to get through a boring afternoon.
