I went into GK tumblr before I finished GK and saw Ogata in a hockey uniform and I was like “Oh is there a major time skip near the end? That’s cool!” Yk like demon slayer or smth and when I got to the end I was so confused like “where tf was the fucked up man in a hockey uniform I want to see everyone’s reincarnations”

which character has the most messed up distorted sprite in the meta flowey fight and why is it starlo (i jest)

no but really. i feel like his distorted ver is so different?? from the others??

instead of his face straight up being blocked out / erased it’s just,,, completely covered in vines. his whole body too if you look closely. the only distorted version that does something similar is gardener (which makes sense because of the plants and everything else in her design), but my question is why starlo out of all people, and why is it to this magnitude? also weirdly enough, i think as a still image starlo’s is the least glitched out compared to the other heavily distorted characters that appear in the neutral route boss fight

obviously there are other clearer ones like dalv, el baliador, etc but those are more off-putting. starlo’s just looks really abstract and messed up (in a really good way)

I saw someone somewhere say that not all the Aphrodite kids are “conventionally” attractive AND I WILL STAND BY THAT!!!!

Because yes!!! They’re not all white and skinny there’s gotta be some variety. They’re the children of the goddess of love and beauty, self love is a given. Confidence makes the most beautiful people.

Like even if some of them have braces or acne or whatever, I know they’re all beautiful and charming like it’s the vibes you know? People try so hard to make braces seem awkward but some of the prettiest girls I know have braces and they LOVE to laugh and show them off.

I also just know the Aphrodite boys are ACTUALLY CLEAN. They all actually wear chapstick, put on deodorant, brush their teeth and T A K E B A T H S. Nothing is more attractive than a man that actually washes his ass let me tell you.

What makes all the Aphrodite kids beautiful is that they’re all confident, there’s no way all of them have pretty baby blues or the metabolism of fucking cheetahs. And I just know they’re supportive like come on. Hot bitches don’t gate keep

Gonna say it here too but Wei Wuxian has nothing to be sorry for regarding Nightless City.

He tried to speak but they refused to listen.

He was attacked first, defended himself, and was condemned for it.

They wanted to kill not only him, but all the innocent people he was protecting as well.

People blaming him for the ensuing slaughter when his mind broke upon Jiang Yanli’s sacrifice (which was ALSO not his fault like c’mon???) make no sense to me.

They pushed him to it.

They spit on the sacrifices of Wen Qing and Wen Ning.

They refused to hear him out and decided he was done for before Jin Zixuan even died, let’s be real.

(And no, 3000 cultivators did not die at Nightless City. Wei Wuxian straight up questions the absurdity of such a high number himself.)

I don’t know, I’ll probably delete this, but it boggles my mind when people hold this against Wei Wuxian when he was the one attacked.

Props my head up hey. I’m still coming up with character concepts. And I’m trying to decide what kind of Vibe my healer girl should have 👀

Quick refresher on her:

Soft spoken and kind, she takes care of the group’s injuries and provides support in battle. Everyone’s a little intimidated by her bc she’s scary when they don’t immediately come to her for medical treatment after battle, or brush off their injuries. Grows close with mute girl. Is the calming presence of the group, and everyone comes to her when they are stressed. (This causes her to have a complex about being the calm one, the cheerful one, the one who always has their shit together. This is unhealthy. Lmao) Is also some kind of royalty. She and edgy boy bond over their garbage experiences with the upper class.

I’m either going to make her a water elemental or a forest elemental (both of which are capable of having healing powers!) but I can’t decide if I want to go with a fluffy winter theme (probably using ice as a numbing agent with her healing) or an autumn theme (just bc most forest elementals are associated with green colors and I think an autumn themed one would be neat). So I’m coming to YOU for opinions!!

(Secret third thing possibly being a time elemental who can “rewind” the state of someone’s body to heal injuries. But I don’t have an outfit theme for this one. Suggestions are welcome)

#EITHER would be good bc I don’t have a fluffy winter or autumn themed character yet.#My initial thought was to give her a mermaid theme for the water elemental but. That’s kinda cliche huh #The cool thing about ATS is that ice and water magic are lumped together. So water elementals can make water AND ice depending on who it is #And I don’t really have an OC that specializes in icy water magic yet #Let alone one with healing powers as the focus #Anyway. ANYWAY. This was a terrible idea. Really, it was. With how many times she’d been rejected it was practically ridiculous that she thought this would go over well. And Amy was well aware of how low her chances were. But she just couldn’t help it. Besides, he was far too reserved to ever ask her out. She had to be the one to do it.

Amy sighed and looked at her dress in the mirror again. It was a medium length white dress covered in a leafy pattern in various green hues and even had a ribbon to match. It was brand new. Which she may or may not have bought for this specific occasion. An arguably unnecessary expense but Amy justified it by telling herself she needed something nice to boost her confidence.

But… what if it was too nice? If she got rejected then it would have all been a waste and every time she saw the dress again she’d be filled with disappointment and heartache and loneliness and-

She panicked and darted over to her wardrobe and began to frantically look for a possible alternative. How foolish she was to buy such a dress. What if he didn’t even like green!

Amy startled suddenly at the knock on her bedroom door and a young rabbit poked her head inside.

“Amy, aren’t you supposed to be on your date?”

“It’s not a date, Cream. Well, at least not yet. But hopefully, it will be.”

“I’m sure he’ll say yes! I have a feeling this one's gonna work out. And I don’t need any fancy tarot cards to know that!”

“That’s right! I should do a reading and then I’ll-”

“Amy!” Cream shouted, cheeks slightly puffed up in frustration, “You already said you were gonna ask him. You promised me you wouldn’t back out again.”

“I know, I know. You’re right,” Amy sighed and wandered over to her drawer and pulled out her old deck of cards, “These cards have just really helped me out a lot, you know? I’ve had them nearly my whole life. If I hadn’t listened to them and left home then I never would have even met him, or anyone else, or even you.”

Cream quietly wandered over and sat down on the bed next to her friend and waited for her to continue.

“I’d been alone for a really long time, which was why I was traveling the world. I wanted to find a new home, somewhere I belonged… I’d read about Little Planet before, they used to call it Miracle Planet. It sounded like a beautiful place, “a world that defies time itself”, relics that create miracles, I couldn't ask for a more perfect place to call home… But just like everything else, it was temporary.”

Cream frowned as Amy sat down on the bed beside her. The little girl watched as Amy shuffled through her deck before finally pulling out a single card and handing it to her. The image depicted a brave looking knight valiantly standing upright with a single sword in his hands.

“But then I pulled this card,” Amy said, continuing her story, “The Knight of Swords. It represents action and says that if you propel yourself through ambition you’ll be rewarded. That’s when I knew that if I continued to trust my instincts, the same one that brought me there in the first place, then I would finally get to meet my knight in shining armor!”

Cream giggled, “And you did! Even if it was a little messy at first.”

“Heh, a little, but you gotta admit, he really knew how to sweep a girl off her feet.”

The two giggled some more before Cream suddenly sprung up from her feet, “Amy! You’re gonna be late! You need to hurry!”

“Oh Chaos you’re right!” Amy jumped up from the bed and hurried out the door, but when she reached the doorway she paused and looked back towards her friend again. “So, you really think he’s gonna say yes?”

Cream walked over to her and gave her a big smile, “Of course I do, Amy! Things are changing now and so are you. You’ve been the princess in the tower already, now it’s time for you and your knight, your real knight, to have your happily ever after!”

Amy returned the smile, gave her friend a big hug, and fought off the tears she felt forming behind her eyes, “Thanks Cream, you always know just what to say.”

The two waved each other away and Amy took off, and as she closed the front door behind her she couldn’t help but smile.

This was it. She was finally going to ask out the blue hedgehog of her dreams. It was finally time to ask out Metal Sonic.

i don’t know why dnd podcasters seem to often have this anxiety over playing a character with a different gender to them. Like just play the character as you would any other. but you use a new set of pronouns. It’s like that simple. No you don’t need to put on an exaggerated feminine/masculine voice. no, you don’t need an in depth understanding of psychology. funnily enough, people with different genders to you are still, in fact, just people. go figure I guess
