Danny, on a work trip with his parents, is tired and maybe a little cranky and also all of his joints hurt. Sleeping in the GAV is not great. As in, it just doesn't happen.

So he pops his neck.

Or, he tries to pop his neck.

He sighs and grabs the bottom of his jaw and the top of his head and forces his neck to pop.

Except he miscalculated.

He's broken his own neck.

As a halfa, it's fine, he just needs to force/hold it in place and wait twenty minutes for his healing factor to kick in. But when he moves to do that, a pair of red-gloved hands interrupt him and put him in a bracing hold.

"Don't worry kid, ambulance is on it's way!" The Flash reassures him, not budging an inch. "I know it feels like you can just pop it back into place, but it's actually pretty broken right now, and you could uh...it...the doctors will makes sure you're okay!"

Danny watches in despair as his family disappears into the crowd, having not noticed that he was being held up, and tries to think of a lie to make the hero let go without resorting to using his powers in front of the many, many livestreaming phones that have turned towards him.

Not gonna say I have much going on but I definitely am cooking up something with the mystery au idea I thought of November last year.

So yea, Dead Air Transmission au, a small-town mystery au of the DCA where y/n is a new cop moving into the town of Glamour Rock.

Originally, I made it so that Sun and Moon were radio hosts of the place, but I later decided to have Sun be the only radio host of the two and Moon be a police officer. (so that one of them would be around y/n because of work and the other while y/n is off-duty or on their way to work)

I also changed it so that Sun and Moon are separate animatronics.

Not gonna make a comic, but maybe art here and there. (If I'm brave enough, I might post the written prologue of it)

I don't know if I'm going to be able to finish the entire thing, but I definitely don't wanna keep it hidden in the machinations of my mind until I die.

If you guys have tips for writing a fanfic(or posting your first fanfic), please share them. That would be helpful. ;u;

Also @starriegalaxy's Fear Factor au basically gave me ideas to post this so check her fic out ^^

Since I'm still so into Phantom of the Opera right now. I don't want to argue with theatre nerds and the particular reason is that because there should be no argument when talking about interpretation because the nature of spontaneity in theatre. It's different with movie where there can only be one interpretation which is what is shown in movie like I have once fighting with Star Wars fans over sequels and Reylo (ugh). But here me out.

In 25th anniversary, some comments about Hadley Fraser's Raoul is that he doesn't have enough chemistry with Christine. He looks so oblivious to everything and look down on everyone with the slight cockiness. But it's because Hadley Fraser IS oblivious about everything. At that moment prior to being in 25th anniversary he never play in Phantom of the Opera (and still haven't other than for this performance to this day when I write this post) and never even watch a single show. I imagine his acting is fully based on the book and director. We often blinded by a dashing Raoul since Steve Barton era but he is actually still a jerk. Neither Erik or Raoul is good for Christine. Hadley wasn't influenced by any version of Raoul so he delivered exactly as it is written in the book.

Edit: and that for me makes Hadley's Raoul as the most genuine version.

Like Hadley, I also still wonder why they chose him. Was it because Ramin's input? Or was it because he made perfect Grantaire to Ramin's Enjolras in Les Mis 25 a year before which Cameron Mackintosh be thinking 'you know what, let's do weird stunt casting'? Was it that reason add together with him being cameo in Les Mis movie?

#also add the fact that ramin and sierra chemistry is like lab explosion #which would overshadow other chemistries #and if i listened to every interview of him talking about poto 25 is that he still had no clue why he was even there and what did he do #and in the style of harrison ford be like yea so what no big deal it's only 3 shows don't get too sweat my fans #bless this man really honestly #raoul de chagny #hadley fraser #the phantom of the opera #poto 25 #at this moment i have put this show inside my mind literally #my ramblings

obviously line-cooking is not for everyone but. ohhhh my god it is so much fun. like aside from the restrictions of Must be physically able and Must be comfortable with knives and fire and heat and Must be able to multitask efficiently under pressure and not take it personally when u get yelled at. LIKE ASIDE FROM ALL THAT. it is so fun and so straightforward. every day i wake up at ass o’ clock in the morning and put on my hat and chef coat and go to work and when i get to work there is a prep list that tells me what needs to be prepped and how they should be prioritized. NICE! i slice a million fruits and roast a million vegetables and portion a million meats and print TEN MILLION labels. if i ever forget how to do anything i can consult the RECIPE BOOK (ipad). and then once prep is done i go on the line and wait for tickets on my screen and if there are tickets i MAKE THE ORDER and pass it down the line. and if i ever forget how to make/plate the food there are cheat sheets taped to the wall in front of me and other cooks right next to me. and i do that until the restaurant is closed then i clean up and go home. rinse and repeat. farengar voice Simplicity itself
