The Tainted Ancients (AU)

Concept-

Remember that Dragon's Valley storyline with opposite versions of certain cookie characters? Yeah, that one! Well.. 'what about it' you may ask. Ya see the game doesn't really explore much (on the topic of alternate universes and time periods) so I decided what if Earthbread was already in darkness, the great Ancient Cookies (White Lily,Hollyberry, Pure Vanilla, Golden Cheese, and Dark Cocao cookies) were the source of such (instead of Dark Enchantress). Kingdoms still up and running but..somethings not right, all the citizens that inhabit such kingdoms are poor, starving, on the brink of death and their rulers having the time of their lives watching such suffering.

What if the (other) Ancients (and maybe even legendaries) also break/took off pieces of their body to make the desert and gave it to Y/N too?

Dessert Report (The Ancient Cookies)

Warning: Cookie Cannibalism

Customer: Pure Vanilla Cookie

Treat Gift: A cake slice dabbled with vanilla frosting.

Result: Portions of hair missing, hat has to be angled to hide the missing parts.

Pure Vanilla entered the cake shop one afternoon after leaving with White Lily Cookie the other day. He talked about seeing White Lily’s gift to Y/N Cookie and thought it was a wonderful idea. Questions raised about his odd hat angled were dodged or given no answer, unusual for the Ancient.

What Y/N Cookie doesn’t know won’t hurt them, right? They would still be close to Pure Vanilla no matter what, right?

Customer: Hollyberry Cookie

Treat Gift: Berry cluster cookies.

Result: Parts of the arms missing, outfit helps to obscure the cracks.

Hollyberry was among the first of the Ancients to give a tasty delight to her very good friend, Y/N Cookie. But just any dessert wouldn’t do for Hollyberry’s liking. It had to mean something, that it truly came from the bottom of her heart. She had an idea…

Y/N Cookie will surely love it…..

They would surely love her….

Customer: Dark Cacao Cookie

Treat Gift: Box of chocolates made from pure cacao.

Result: Missing small extremities such as parts of the hands or legs. Like with Hollyberry, his outfit can cover up the missing portions.

Loyalty, something that is earned and deeply valued to Dark Cacao Cookie. Y/N Cookie’s loyalty to him as an ally means a lot to the king. Dark Cacao Cookie felt like he needed to return the favor to Y/N Cookie, to show how much he valued their relationship.

No length is too great for the sake of those you care about, as he entered the cake shop with the chocolates showed…

Customer: Golden Cheese Cookie

Treat Gift: An array of cheeses with a cheesecake made by Golden Cheese herself.

Result: Portions of the arms and legs missing. Bandages are used to hide the missing parts, excused as just her protecting her dough from getting too stale.

Golden Cheese was never the same after the fall of her kingdom. She held onto anything she held dear, fearing they’ll crumble to dust before her eyes. Y/N Cookie was one major example, she treated them as if she’s known them all her life..and someone she wishes to know for the rest of her life.

She wants to live knowing that a part of her will always remain within Y/N Cookie forever when she floated through that cake shop door…

Customer: White Lily Cookie

Treat Gift: Lily Cobbler.

Result: The loss of the lower arms, part of the waist, and small portions of the head and hair. The cobbler had traces of a powder-like substance emanating from it.

White Lily Cookie cared about Y/N Cookie. She cared about them very much. She feels like they understand her more the average cookie, it’s no surprise why she’ll often seek their company. When she spotted them enjoying a gifted treat one day, she had a wonderful idea on how she wanted to express her feelings to them.

It was quite the extensive process, but she was able to complete her gift. The loss of her parts can grow back, it would all be worth it when Y/N Cookie enjoyed the cobbler, with White Lily knowing that a part of her will always be with Y/N Cookie.

White Lily went further than Golden Cheese though. More than just physical pieces of dessert that will eventually disappear in time. White Lily placed a little more thought into her treat…

{Ancient Heros With A Legendary S/O}

Pure Vanilla Cookie:

(Y/N) Cookie and Pure Vanilla got that, "knight protects princess" kinda vibe. It's somewhat true since you must watch over the slightly ditzy Ancient Healer.

Pure Vanilla is very happy at your side, even when he lost his memories. You were beside him. Never once pressuring him to remember, only for him to fall in love with you all over again.

Always at each other's side and very show-off unknowingly to other cookies.

Now that the two of you rule over the remains of Vanilla Kingdom, it seems like a wedding is in order.

Dark Cacao Cookie:

(Possibly the other parent of Dark Choco?)

While you and Dark Cacao have been together since the beginning. Most citizens assume your the {king/queen/royal} of the Cacao kingdom.

While the two of you are strong leaders, but you are but weak lovers.

The two of you find comfort in one another's embrace when alone with the other. Often worrying about your spouse when apart for too long.

Hollyberry Cookie:

Since the kingdom is known for romance, the two of you are also show-offs.

But rather than staying at the kingdom, the two you traveled to the land of the dragons. You sent letters of your expeditions to your son, Royal Berry Cookie.

Who, in turn, reads the letters to his Princess Cookie and his wife with pride.

Hollyberry is strong, but with you at her side. The two of you are much stronger!

How would Yandere! Ancient cookies go about sharing you?

🍪 Congratulation! Not only did you somehow manage to get some of most powerfull cookies out there to fall for you, but also managed to get them not to kill each other over you. So... What now?

🍪 Well, they share you of course! Specificly they pass you around their kingdoms, every month you are in a diffrent one.

🍪 It's not Perfect, it requires a lot of Traveling to be done, but it's better than having them fight. Besides you don't realy have a choice

⚪ First 2 Months (2 becouse there's 2 of them) you spend with Pure Vanilla and White Lily. (I put these two together since White Lily doesn't have her own kingdom)

🟡 Pure Vanilla is on the more Overprotective side of things, constantly making sure you are comfortable and healing any injuries you might have somehow gained, no matter how small they are.

⚪ White Lily on the other hand is Possessive of you, of course just like Pure Vanilla she also is protective of you, but not nearly as much. She will make sure that nobody that doesn't HAVE to see you, won't.

🟡 Both of the cookies refuse to give you any privacy for your entire forced stay with them.

⚪ You are constantly with at least one of the pair, and even that's rare. If it's possible both of them will make sure you are at arm's lenght at all time.

🟡 It's also rare that you'l get to leave the castle. They are PARANOID about your safety, it doesn't matter that Vanilla Kingdom is Has Basicly no threats.

⚪ You are also forced to share bed with them, every night you are sandwiched between the 2 cookies, and believe me, they will CLING to you during sleep.

🟡 Escape is impossible, just don't even try, you won't get anywhere. Even if you somehow manage to escape the 2 cookies, the entire kingdom is constantly floating in the air, so unless you are ready to take the plunge, you wouldn't make it far.

🟡⚪ Overall, your stay at Vanilla Kingdom isn't good... But Hey, it always could be worse, right?

🔴 After you're not so pleasant stay with Pure Vanilla and White Lily, you are sent directly to Hollyberry Cookie.

🔴 In Hollyberry kingdom you will have the most freedom. While the kingdom's ruler is very much protective with you, she is more than confident in her ability to protect you.

🔴 The thing that makes her diffrent from other yanderes is that she won't try to hide you, quite contrary realy. She will show you off to everyone she can!

🔴 Hollyberry will also allow you to roam around her kingdom freely, you can go anywhere and talk with anyone you want! As long as you won't try to escape or flirt with anyone that is. It's almost enough to make you forget you are Basicly held captive.

🔴 She will also want you to meet her grand child, Princess Cookie! She is sure she'l love you ;)

🔴 Hollyberry Cookie will even give you your own room for your stay! Isn't that just so considerate of her? :) Ignore the fact its positioned right next to her's.

🔴 When it come to escaping... Well you definitly have a better shot at it here than in Vanilla Kingdom. Chances of succes aren't hight mind you, and even if you do manage to escape who's to say you manage to bit get caught again? She might even Ask Pitaya dragon for a small Favor if she fails to get you back for longer enough.

🔴 Either way, the stay at Hollyberry Kingdom is not too bad! Or at least no too bad when compared to others. Who knows, maybe you'l even manage to relax and forget you are essentialy trapped?

⚫ Next in the "getting to have Y/N over in their kingdom" line is Dark Cacao Cookie.

⚫ Dark Cacao Cookie like most of his friends is Overprotective and Possessive.

⚫ He doesn't want to lose you, whether it's to you escaping or getting hurt it doesn't matter, he will protect you. Even from yourself.

⚫ His protectivnes is actually somewhat justified, the Terrain where Dark cacao kingdom is placed isn't the safest place out there

⚫ He only allows his most trusted subjects to get near you, and Has them keep an eye on you whenever he can't do it himself.

⚫ Speaking of which, Dark Cacao Cookie makes you spend most of your time in his kingdom close to him, while he isn't very touchy he enjoys being this close to you.

⚫ He probably would make you wear a crown (Is it a crown? Well It look like one.) similiar to his one.

⚫ Escape altho theoreticaly not impossible, would be extremely difficult. There are many cookies patrolling the surrounding area, all of which are loyal to their ruler.

⚫ The stay at Dark Cacao Kingdom isn't very pleasuarble to say the least, but Hey there some positives. I mean, maybe you'l manage to befriend some of the cookies that were meant to keep an eye on you. They won't help you escape of course, but its always nice to have someone to talk to!

🟠 Finaly after staying with dark Cacao for a month you get to (by "get to" i mean are forced to) move once again. This time to Golden Cheese kingdom.

🟠 Golden Cheese Cookie is well... Greedy, and she doesn't want to share you or your attention with anyone else.

🟠 From the very moment you'l step into her kingdom she'l shower you in expensive gifts and other riches.

🟠 She'l force you to change whatever clothes you were wearing to ones that match her clothes.

🟠 Golden Cheese Cookie WILL show you off, but she wants your attention to only be on her and her alone.

🟠 She will always keep you close, no matter what she's doing. or if you even want to be close to her.

🟠 No one other than her is allowed to touch you, they can look all they want, but privilage of having phisical contact with you is only for her.

🟠 You also aren't given your own room, you are simply forced to share with her.

🟠 You won't escape, there just is no way when she is constantly right next to you. And even if you try to make a run for it. She can fly, and even (and that's extremly unlikely) you manage to escape from her kingdom, good luck getting through the dessert surrounding it.

🟠 Altho constantly being under her survailance isn't the most enjoyable thing, its always important to find the best in bad sitiations. In this case "the best" is the fact that Golden Cheese is more than happy to give you anything you want aside from freedom of course she won't give you anything you could use to help you escape, but it's still nice.

🍪 And so the cycle begins again, after the month you spent In Golden Cheese kingdom, you are once again transported to Vanilla Kingdom. The whole cycle will continue repeating over and over again for the rest of your life. Well, unless you somehow do manage to escape...

HIIIW HOW ARE YOU? i’ve got a another request for you (i did ask a question a few weeks ago but i’m not sure if you saw it, it’s fine though)

imagine the yan! beasts and the yan! ancients (separately) with a reader that’s very stoic and calm, that has a reputation as a warrior or chief or something like that (something that has to do with fighting or getting or hands dirty.. or numbs? idk cookies don’t necessarily have hands) to hold so they have no room to be soft for anyone, but if you get them a little tipsy, they become more open? y’know how people get cuteness aggression from pets, yeah that’s reader, they become a totally different person when in private.. or tipsy, of course they still have control over themselves but still have like.. major cuteness aggression, but once a day passes, they act like it didn’t even happen

I don't think I ever got that? If you want to resend it, you can!

Eternal Sugar Cookie would more than likely get you purposely tipsy more often to see this side of you, which she believes is reserved only for her. She'll always play it off the next day, acting like she doesn't know what you mean about her always carrying some alcohol.

Mystic Flour Cookie finds it endearing how you open up during events like this, but she never forces you to drink. No, she'll just.. gently persuade you. After all, it's only you two. There's no harm in it!

Burning Spice Cookie, surprisingly, wouldn't take advantage of it. While he'd love to see you more open and closer with him, despite his twisted obsession, he wants that to happen naturally. So getting drinks with him is far and few between, but whenever you two do, manipulation is often involved.

Silent Salt Cookie is similar to Burning Spice Cookie, but he won't hesitate to offer up to glass to you if he feels like you're hiding something from him. Getting you to be more open is a tough thing, so he'll savor the moments where you'll be too tipsy to remember what you tell him.

Shadow Milk Cookie can't help but be a little.. conflicted. While on one hand, you drinking and getting tipsy and being open is great for him, he can get to know more about you! But on the other hand, he wonders about if you'll find out. What will you do? He really doesn't want to have to control you with his strings, but if he has to..

Hollyberry Cookie is probably the reason why you were drinking in the first place. Maybe a game she challenged you to, or just a night out between you, too. Regardless, she's fully aware of what you're like during this, and she takes it to her advantage. She'll learn everything she can about you in that time frame. Say, how about another outing sometime soon?

Dark Cacao Cookie probably doesn't drink that often, meaning you don't either. But when you do, he insists to anyone else that he'll be the one to take care of you. Guiding you to a private room, he'll gently pry information from you. How you feel about him, about others.. all to help his plans of making you love him.

Golden Cheese Cookie probably encourages you to drink. Every time you've gotten tipsy or worse, she's always been there and always there to help you calm down.. while asking questions to you that seem obvious, but to her she needs answered. After all, she can't have you panicking if she keeps you in the kingdom indefinitely..

White Lily Cookie rarely, if ever, drinks, so to see you get tipsy around her is a surprise. And the thing is, she might have not even been around when you first started drinking. She merely stumbled upon you and, well, decided to take advantage of the situation at hand. Just asking some questions, that's all. She just needs to know how you feel about her..

Pure Vanilla Cookie would try his damn hardest not to ask you anything while tipsy, but his obsession would win out. He'd start with small questions before they slowly ramp up in intensity and desperation. Cookies always say that you speak your true thoughts when you're intoxicated, so surely you mean everything you're saying. (He's so delusional.)

Yandere Ancients with a defiant Darling

Let me tell you- this king was LIVID

Why must you fight him after he saved you!? Seeing you try and shove him away from yourself, screaming, crying, begging, trying to get back to the world that was trying to corrupt you…take you away from him… “why must you fight me!?I’m only doing what’s best for you!” At some point, Dark Cacao would have enough and lock you in your isolated room with watchers guarding your door for days, Dark Cacao coming in every day in hopes you would run into his arms and need him. If you haven’t submit to his demands then he would leave you locked in until the next time he came by.

Just pretend to submit for your sanity and his trust, maybe he’ll let you out as long as he trusts you 😉

One word, four syllables. De-lu-soin-al. She firmly believes that you have been g*slit into hating her or that you were severely sick, how could you possibly want to run away from her!? You must be sick! She sets herself into the mindset of your caretaker, your savior. She would often find herself laying on your bed with you, held tightly to her chest. Yes, you still fought her for your “freedom”, but she wouldn’t let you….she needed you, just as much as you needed her.

“Please, my little bee, stop fighting me! Let me help you!”

“JUST LET ME CURE YOU! THOSE HORRIBLE PEOPLE INFECTED YOUR MIND, AND I NEED TO HELP YOU!”

“Oh, you can just stop trying now~ ..why? Cause you’re NOT gonna win!~ Hahahaha!” GCC would often grab you by your arms and fly up high into the sky, dangling you by your arms as you frantically try to hold onto her for dear life. Once she thinks you’ve had enough, she clutches you to her chest and slowly floated down to the ground. She then carried you back to her bedroom and cuddled you close to her chest.

“If you ever run away from me, I promise you, I will always find you…”

“I love you..even if you test me so much…”

“Please…I’ve tried for so long to get you here, where it is SAFE for you..! Just let me love you….” This cookie- OMG. He would try his best to understand why you were fighting against his love but all cookies have a breaking point. He would drag you to his bedroom and just lay on his bed, his arms wrapped around you for dear life. “My love….I love you but you test me so much….but I’ll keep trying…”

Only a small handful of cookies have seen HBC anything BUT joyful. But one day, you were the unfortunate Cookie to witness something that seemed…out of character for HBC, her RAGE. All of her out of character-ness at that moment stemmed from you trying to fight her for your freedom…

“WHY MUST YOU BE SO STUBBORN!? DON’T YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH I NEED YOU AND HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO ME!? You’re my missing piece….a part of me that was taken from me before I was born….and I-…I can’t lose you again….you complete me…just please….stop fighting and stay with me….”

By the end of her tirade, you would be pinned against a wall or her bed (get your head outta the gutter.) with HBC’s hands death gripping your arms to your side and her head pressed against your chest. Tears would be flowing from her eyes and the room would be deathly silent.

Just give her what she wants….all she has left of her mental wellbeing is you…

Yandere Father Dark Cacao Cookie

You aren’t in your room. You never are. Even with the new locks and chains, you always find a way to break out and slink through his castle.

Just because you aren’t where you belong doesn’t mean he doesn’t know where to find you, though.

He treks through the cold, uninviting halls of his castle, storming straight to the room of his “estranged” son, throwing the door open with fury in his eyes.

“I am getting entirely too used to hunting you down, and I-“

He cuts himself off when he sees you, because your condition right now switches his fury to concern.

He stalks closer, observing your trembling form as you curl under Dark Choco’s old blankets, every inch of your dough shivering without stop. He comes close enough to reach out and touch you, clicking his tongue as he does.

“Foolish child… you should have come to me at once.”

He pulls you out of his son’s long abandoned blankets, wrapping you up in his fur-lined cape instead. He takes your shivering form into his arms, lifting you easily off the bed. You’re entirely too easy to carry, and he wonders if you’ve been getting enough to eat recently. There’ll be time to amend that later.

He carries you back to your room, watching as you quake with each of his steps.

“Hiding away in your brother’s room instead of informing me of your illness… reckless, foolhardy child.” His tone is one of scolding, hard and cold. He puts particular emphasis onto illness, and you know exactly why.

He’s seen countless friends and comrades fall to the freezing cold of this land, dough cracked and split by the temperature. His own child, his remaining child, will not be one of the casualties of winter.

His thinking might be a bit extreme for what’s probably a minor illness that’ll pass in a few days, but to him? Safe is better than sorry. Safe is better than burying a child. Safe is better than losing the last of his family.

He steps into your room, his eyes narrowing at the picture on your nightstand. It’s Dark Choco, elegant frame decorated with white and black lace. Next to it is a picture of Caramel Arrow, feathers and bowstrings tangling around the frame.

You still miss them. Of course you do. Without them, you’re locked up all alone in this palace, your door hung with heavy locks and chains. You had long learned to pick them, but the fact that they were there was more than bad enough on it’s own. But your father was not willing to compromise your safety to satiate your desire for freedom.

He bundles you under the thick wolf-fur blanket on your bed, then retrieves another from your dresser, giving you two heavy layers of warmth. He doesn’t seem satisfied with those alone, but doesn’t push the matter. All he does is…

Reach out, and brush your hair from your face. You lean your cheek into the palm of his hardened hand, and he spends a moment dragging his thumb in circles around your cheek, savoring the contact.

He’s not the best father. But there’s no denying that he loves you. Maybe a little too much.

Cookie of the Sea

It is a night like any other night for the Dark Cacao Kingdom, a blizzard hailing down on too the Kingdom, the distant sound of the Sea bashing on the wall.

Yet something felt wrong to the Dark Cacao Kingdom, it was something to do with the sea. The Watchers on night duty kept a close watch on the Licorice Sea, waiting for it to do something.

Yet it seems like they didn’t keep a close enough eye on it as a hooded cookie came out of the sea, unharmed, grabbed their duel daggers and began to scale the wall. Once the cookie made it up the wall, they looked down at the Kingdom. Idiots the cookie thought, how did the Watchers not see them? Are they that stupid? The Cookie sighed then all they hear was a gurgled “Y/n Cookie…” The voice came from their cloak.

When lifts apart of the cloak to reveal a Licorice monster who must of separated from the sea to follow them. “I thought I told you and the rest to stay down their and wait for my call.” The monster looks away guilty, Y/n Cookie sighed but they can’t find the courage to be mad at them, after all The Licorice Sea saved their life when the Kingdom turned their backs on them.

200 years ago, their was an attack on the Kingdom by the Licorice Sea. The wall was collapsing under the force of the Licorice Sea. 21 year old Y/n Cookie followed their tribe who was being evacuated to the Citadel. Unfortunately apart of the wall fell into Y/n Cookie’s left leg, the poor Cookie started the wail in pain.

Then, King Dark Cacao Cookie showed up along with many Watchers behind them. Y/n Cookie saw this and began to beg for help. Surely he will help you and yet… he turns his back on you and tell the Watchers to regroup with the others because there were to many monsters. And so… you were left behind to die.

You began to sob, any slight moment made a shot of pain shoot through your tiny body. The thought of being eaten by the Sea made you cry even louder. The King heard your cries but didn’t stop, knowing that their was no way of saving you.

But it seemed like he wasn’t the only one who heard your cries. Quickly, the gurgling sound of the Sea began to get closer. You began to pray to the Witches to make your death quickly and pain free. Soon the Licorice Sea’s began to coo in your ear. “Cookie…” “Leg…” “Pain….” The creature began to coo out. The it started to nuzzle you as it slowly lifts the bricks off your leg.

The King and Watchers saw everything, and they saw the Sea pick up your body before returning to behind the wall, pulling you body into it. Waves of guilt rashes through them. Why did it have to come to this?

Your vision was blacked out as you were pulled into the Sea, you felt the Sea rubbing it’s cold body against your warm one. Slowly, you began to fall asleep to the their cooing and gurgling.

Unknown to you, your soul was now bonded to the Licorice Sea, your body has stopped aging and now have a fast healing process.

It has been 200 years since that day and you look like your in your early 20s.

You aloud the small part of the Sea to cling to you as you make your way to the Citadel.

You wanted revenge, you wanted to take away the most valuable thing from the Kingdom, the Soul Jam. If things go wrong then you will call on the Sea to destroy the Wall.

You had made it to the gates of the Citadel and was met with the face of someone you hate…

”So I was right… something was wrong…. The Sea has been acting strange and I think you have something to do with it.” Dark Cacao Cookie stated. You just wanted the Soul Jame, he didn’t need to make this hard or else the Sea will tear down the walls.

Quickly, the king got into a fighting position, yet he had a soft look on his face. You grabbed your daggers and got ready for his next move.

The fight has gone on for a while now, nether side had a clear victory. You soon realise that you need your monsters for back up and got ready to call for them, but sadly you were in unable as Dark Cacao Cookie hits a spot your neck with the handle of the sword, making you fall unconscious.

A purple glow from the fire, lit up the throne room. On the throne was Dark Cacao Cookie with Y/n Cookie on his lap. It seems that the Sea didn’t eat Y/n Cookie all thought’s years ago. Instead, they bonded with their soul, making Y/n Cookie similar to him.

The Sea has been bashing against the wall, wanting Y/n Cookie back but thankfully, Dark Cacao Cookie made the Wall even more stronger. Soon one of the Watchers came running in, telling the King that the sea has tired themself out.

“Hhmmm good now we can get some peace.” Dark Cacao Cookie said, lips twitching into a smile for a second. “Y/n Cookie still has to wake up”

Soon, the Watcher was sent away. Dark Cacao Cookie let his smile show. Know it was just the waiting game. “Oh Y/n…” He whispered as he brushed his hand through your hair.

“You don’t know how long I’ve been watching you <3”

Okay, hear me out on this one.

What if the reader USED to love Cacao?

Allow me to explain,

The reader was actually courted and taken on dates by a younger version of cacao. They loved it and him. Dates to watch the sea? Loved that the most. Eventually, after courting the reader for long enough, he pops the question which the reader says yes! Oh how they both were happy!

That is.

Until his love became more and more obsessive. The reader can't get anything done with him constantly looking over their shoulder. He even puts an arm over the reader whenever they go on walks together.

It was suffocating and emotionally draining.

The reader hit their limit when they overheard him threatening their best friend with banishment. So, They decided to end it with him!

But, we all know where that got him.

CW: yandere themes, abuse of power, possessiveness, manipulation, delusional mindset, angst with a hint of fluff.

A/N: man, I love writing for Dark Cacao as a yandere-

I can see Dark Cacao's potential as a yandere due to his overprotective nature towards Reader Cookie but before we go through his circle of madness, let's go back to the beginning of your love story with this lonely king who holds great power of both his kingdom and his soul jam.

Just like what I've mentioned, Reader Cookie came from the Milk Tribe. However, Reader Cookie isn't actually a cookie who was born within the tribe but was adopted by two milk farmers when they're still an infant, abandoned within the cold environment as wolves stared towards the helpless child. They were saved and raised as if you were their own child.

As you grew into adulthood, that's when the young Dark Cacao saw you for the first time. Enamored by your quiet personality, reading countless of books and giving him enough milk to his fellow friends (aka the ancients) when they arrived at your village for the first time. The young prince didn't mind your kindness towards the others, unbothered even but couldn't resist on the sound of your voice whenever you talk about some of your favorite books or how you kept on persuading him and his friends to take some of your delicious and sweet milk for their journey back home.

What you didn't realized is that the young cookie you recently befriended was not other than the king who ended the feud between the dragons of the north and south. A king who was one of the guardians of peace and was crowned as the king of the newly established Dark Cacao Kingdom.

And that's when the newly crowned king realizes that he was indeed in love and gained intense feelings for you, a mere peasant who came from the milk tribe who takes care of him and his friends during their difficult journey within the blizzard. He admitted once to his friends that your knowledge and intelligence was kinda attractive too, if he's honest.

So, he came the a few months after his ruling and presents to you a bracelet made from the finest stones and gems he found within the citadel's walls. It still has the lingering coffee smell, it was pleasant and quite beautiful for a simple bracelet. He asks you for your hand in courtship and admitted that he gained such feelings of happiness and love whenever he's around you. Imagine his adorable smile when the moment he heard that sweet yes from your lips, hugging you tightly as your family and friends cheered for this newfound celebration.

The young king spoiled you alot! Taken on special dates and giving you lots and lots of gifts (mostly books) that reminds him of you. Let's not forget about the time the two of you have that sweet first kiss during a snowball fight as the two of you landed on the soft snow below.

And after 200 dates, he was finally ready to settle down with you, not only as his lover but as the co-ruler of his kingdom and if you want, to raise a family with him. He presents to you a box and opens it, containing a tiara with huge gems placed within the tiara's exterior. His soft hearted "marry me and make me the happiest cookie in all of Earthbread?" Is what convinces you that this cookie, kneeling in front of you with a box on his arms is truly the one for you. I mean, despite being king, Dark Cacao still treats you with so much love and adoration. You dated him not because of his royal status but also because he's a compassionate and protective cookie.

So you said yes, marking the first mistake you ever made.

As time goes on, more and more red flags began to appear on your fiance. He would constantly glare those cookies who took an interest towards you as his hand around your waist drew you closer towards him. He kept on berating you that you're so selfish on having so many people in your life when the only cookie who's worthy of your love was right in front of you. Manipulate and sabotaging your relationships (wether it was familial or purely platonic) to the point that you felt alone and came crawling back into his arms.

The last straw is when you heard in the throne room that one of your friends deserved the ultimate punishment; to be banished outside of the kingdom.

You shouted for you fiance to stop this nonsense and asked him what drove him to banish your friend when he didn't do anything to betray the king and the entire kingdom. His reason? This cookie was one of your closest friends and was indeed a crime to even take a glance at the future king/queen of the kingdom.

So you told him the ultimatum; it's either he would stop his delusional and possessive antics, giving you and your friend the freedom you both deserved and you'll stay with him or he continues walking on this dangerous path and you'll be gone, no longer being his fiance and leave his kingdom for good.

He didn't like this, not even one bit.

In other words, you decided to choose to stay with those cookies whom you cared so much rather then him? He should be the deserved your love and affection. He should be the one alone being the most important cookie on his life. You deserve to be one of the royals living in the Citadel and the one bringing him an heir to this kingdom (aka Dark Choco Cookie).

He waved his hand, a sign that the king and his lover wanting to have their alone time. Many of the cookies are leaving, including your friend who was held prisoner until the king decided to his final punishment. He stood up from his throne and walks forward towards you. Dark Cacao was taller then you, stronger even but you didn't feared him despite you being averaged size while you glared to his purple eyes.

Without a word, he grasp your arm and pulled you closer towards him. Dark Cacao gave you a sharp look towards you and spoke after seconds of silence.

"There's no backing out, beloved. There will be a wedding waiting for us and you're going to wear that kimono I made just for you. If you're thinking of escaping the Citadel, think about your family and friends. You don't want them to be in danger when those predators and wolves lurking around the area are marking their next meal, hmm?"

"W-what do you mean, Dark Cacao? You're scaring me..."

"If you refuse this marriage, they're no longer be protected by the warriors of the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Leaving them by their own terms without such protection and to be placed within the danger zone of the kingdom."

"You can't do this!"

"Then what will it be, Reader Cookie? Will you promise that I shall be the only cookie who is worthy of your love and affection?"

Your eyes went straight to the ground, contemplating wether you should risk your freedom for the sake of the safety of those cookies whom you cared for the longest time. It was suffocating and it felt the the ticking bomb that was placed within your head was counting down to it's last digit. Now you felt trap within this spiraling circle of madness with only the king by your side.

You desperately wanted to see the old Dark Cacao Cookie whom you befriended and the cookie who gave you sweet kisses and cuddles whenever the temperature becomes unbearable. You searched within his eyes the last bit of that flame that sparked the love between you and him.

And it looks like you made a choice....

If it's for the sake of those cookies then so be it but you swore to yourself that you will hate the king in this loveless marriage he proposed to you.

"Fine, but only because I wanted my friends and family to be safe with the kingdom's walls. There, happy now you delusional freak?" That was the beginning of your hateful endearments towards him but didn't mind it at all. Both of his hands traveled below your waist and pulled you closer to his broad, shiny armour. He gave you a small smile, feeling the euphoria and relief upon hearing your answer. "Very much so, my love."

And it was sealed with a kiss.

10. The Tears of the Ocean - Sea Fairy Cookie

While not as easy to aggravate compared to the other Y/N Cookie club members, Sea Fairy is still a legendary and can easily sweep away competition if she chooses to. Fire Spirit is the only cookie she’ll be quick to get aggressive with.

9. Loyal Until the End - Caramel Arrow Cookie

Being a watcher meant Caramel Arrow couldn’t bring herself to harm others so easily, she’s instead incredibly protective of you and WILL draw her bow at threats. Laying a hand on you is a sure fire way to catch a arrow from her. Affogato Cookie is on-sight.

8. Protective Judgement - Dark Cacao Cookie

Like Watcher, like king. Dark Cacao will always have you by his side, he insists. There was something about you that he held dear, something that he needed to protect. He won’t tolerate any mistreatment from you, it’s a quick punishment for the perpetrator. You have your own spot in his quarters, it was a more preferable option to him then having your own room.

7. The Persistent Priestess - Pomegranate Cookie

Pomegranate Cookie’s secondary objective is you, to bring you into the darkness. Your soul was nothing she’s seen before, it was pure, it…was precious. She’ll curse any cookie that gets in her way of having you on the same side, she’ll take anything from you that she can get, with or without your knowledge.

6. The Dancing Danger - Lilac Cookie

Do not be surprised if the cookies you know start falling ill, it may be a sign that Lilac Cookie is watching. He’ll always say it’s for your protection, you never know when these cookies might turn on you, he’s just dealing with a problem before it becomes one. He’s only making them sick, it’s not like he’s straight up crumbling them….yet.

5. The Alluring Beauty - Kumiho Cookie

Normal: Not really being affected by her charms made you a breath of fresh air to Kumiho Cookie, she took a major interest in you with this fact and will try whatever she can to get your attention. Just don’t mind the cookies around you missing their cookie livers, it just meant they were getting too close to you. :)

Heartbreak Route: Kumiho is much more persistent, she had never felt true love until you had been honest with her that day. It aches her heart to know that she passed on your feelings, believing it was because of her charms. She’s more volatile like this, taking any interaction you have with others as potential threats to her goal. Has particular dislike for Blueberry Pie Cookie.

4. Your Best Pal - Croissant Cookie

She has stuck by your side since your first day at the TBD. Croissant Cookie was so happy to see you earn your honors as a handycookie, it meant that you two could spend time together as you fixed things alongside her engineering prowess. It…really blinded her to the fact that other cookies like Coffee Candy or Baguette Cookie had taken a liking to you too, something that she aims to fix by being your best and ONLY pal. Keeps you away from Timekeeper Cookie for obvious reasons.

3. His Only - Fire Spirit Cookie

Fire Spirit Cookie has butted heads with Wind Archer and Sea Fairy Cookie when it comes to you, he needed you more then they did. Fire Spirit..isn’t exactly that popular with other cookies, so having you as a friend was a godsend to him, that a cookie like you would want to associate with him. It’s something he treasures deeply, but tries to pass it off as him going easy on you. Wind Archer and Sea Fairy Cookie can try all they want, but he’ll be extinguished before he’ll allow you to be pried from him.

2. Stinging Shock - Scorpion Cookie

Lilac Cookie at least doesn’t end cookies right away and gives them a chance to regret their decision to be close to you, Scorpion Cookie…won’t be giving them that luxury. If she deems a cookie too much of a hassle, she’ll just remove them from the equation. By the time the cookie has realized what hit them, it will all be too late as she watches them crumble away…she dabbles in poisons, not cures after all. So cookies can have fun finding that cure, if there is any to begin with…

1. Baroness of the Sea - Black Pearl Cookie

Normal Route: Why would Black Pearl Cookie want to sink a cookie so…precious looking? Normally, she’d have you at the bottom of the sea by now, but…she couldn’t bring herself to do this to you…what was this about you that has her feeling like this?! This confusion only makes her frustrated, so she’s keeping you with her until she can pinpoint this feeling. She hopes you enjoy your new home in the depths with her…

Heartbreak Route: “You hastily closed the door before locking it, you knew it would do little to protect you from her, but you needed all the security you could get. You avoided the window, there was no telling if you looked out that window, that two glowing eyes would be staring right back at you in the waters. You could hear the faint sound of crying in the distance, the waters were unhappy, she was unhappy. She knew you were here, it was why she hadn’t just annihilated the Lower City already. She was just waiting for the right opportunity to drag you into the darkness of the water’s depths with her…”

At least Black Pearl Cookie is limited by the water, if she wasn’t, she’d be a true cookie to fear for the readers

But since it wouldn’t complete the ensemble today, there’s at least one cookie that will stop at nothing, absolutely nothing, to make sure you’re hers.

Escape Difficulty: Impossible

You sealed your fate after spending time with White Lily Cookie regardless of AU, she’s your biggest cheerleader and unofficial girlfriend who’s quick to poison rivals at the mere chance of them getting friendly with you. She’s near impossible to lose and tends to just appear somewhere close by whether you’re on your own or with other cookies.

She’s an ancient cookie for a reason, few cookies will survive a fight against her, so it’s for the best that your so called “friends” back off from you before she taints their very strawberry jam.

Her only limitation is her other ancient friends, but they’re on thin ice before her paranoia gets to her and she joins in on the conversation. She has earned the title of Y/N Cookie cult leader for a reason.

They absolutely fucking would. It's almost like a sibling fight except with terrible morals and more bloodshed.

Tw: nothing too explicit, entrapment, controlling/overprotective behaviour, brief mentions of violence

I think it would start out with any of the ancients taking MC for themselves, (Probably Pure Vanilla or Golden Cheese) and then from there it's just different kingdoms fighting for MC.

Pure Vanilla preferably keeps MC in his castle, and rarely lets them do anything without him nearby. This delusional mother fucker is gonna be all like, "We're married MC! Don't be so cold!"

Hollyberry, honestly is the least problematic one. She'll let MC roam around and still have friends. But she wants them to stay within the kingdom for their own safety. She always shows them off at balls and juice parties because she loves it. "Oh and this here is my forever cookie, MC! Pretty cute they are, right?"

Dark Cacao...He is all about the violence. He's willing to hunt down any suitor and doesn't let anybody of his court stare directly into their eyes. He keeps them on his lap half the time while he's sitting on his throne.

If there's any threat within or outside the Citadel's walls, he's releasing an ungodly amount of soldiers to go fight it. He tries to be all softie when you're alone though. "You can never trust the outside world. There's one too many bad things lurking out there."

Golden Cheese, I've briefly discussed this, but basically similar to Pure Vanilla, she keeps them in her virtual world. Even after she quit, she'll never part ways with them. She spoils them like crazy and dismisses any of her problematic behaviour. She's also very insistent on protecting them. Going as far as to not let them consume any food that she hasn't checked. "Wait don't eat that! What if it's poisoned? You, my treasure, cannot be acting so carelessly!"
