rrriiight i was thinking of a hualian x reader thing. the reader is a bit cold and apathetic but caring of two certain people and had been all the way through with hualian like for example, had served xie lian when he was still a prince or helped hong er from time to time. but somehow they just vanished and never came back.

surprise surprise, whilst hualian and some other gods were on a mission, they got attacked let’s say (or were in danger) and guess who came to save them? reader! and thats when it clicks for hualian. that was you. you weren’t gone. so- they never let you get away ever again.

They haven't seen you in a very, very long time

It's been centuries actually and you still haven't shown up

But they haven't forgotten you, even though you've been missing or maybe even dead they still think about you in the back of their head.

Xie Lian misses you dearly

You had served Xie Lian during XianLe and had always been by his side.

You took your job seriously and it was your first priority to keep Xie Lian happy

You served him well and fought for him too

Your loyalty to Xie Lian was deep and everyone could see it

Everyone knew you loved him besides Xie Lian of course.

Because it was obvious! You wouldn't utter a word to anyone else

Your presence was a cold force to anyone besides Xie Lian

You were always quick to create space with anyone who came near him too.

It seemed like you couldn't care less for anyone else's problems but Xie Lian's.

Not that it mattered to you, as long as you could stay by his side it didn't matter what you were

You stayed with Xie Lian for as long as you could, and you loved him deeply every second of it.

But then someone took you from Xie Lian.

Hua Cheng misses you just as dearly.

You took care of Xie Lian so well and then you just disappeared

When Hong er as caught by Xie Lian obviously he couldn't take care of Hong er by himself

But when Xie Lian was busy, everyone else was too disgusted to touch him

And Hong er didn't want to be in anyone else's arms either

You were different though, even though you were a servant like Mu Qing and Feng Xin you reacted differently

You held Hong er gently, as if the mongrel child would fall to pieces in your arms

You wouldn't let anyone touch him or try to kick him out of the palace

Always quick, you would settle a cold glare on someone if they tried to pull Hong er from your arms

Taking care of Hong er was just as serious as taking care of Xie Lian to you

You spent a lot of time with His Cheng like that

So after Hua Cheng's first death he searched and searched and searched

He never found the two of you

When Hua Cheng had finally found Xie Lian he was so excited to finally see you both again!

Even though he doesn't want to reveal his secret just yet, he hopes the two of you won't find him disgusting for his actions

But. . . You weren't there.

Don't get him wrong Hua Cheng is very happy to see one of the loves of his life after searching so long but you have never left Xie Lian's side so where are you?

Xie Lian and Hua Cheng continued their relationship and their story without you

They had both tried to search for you and found you no where

It was just another mission, and it should've been quick and easy. Especially since Xie Lian and Hua Cheng tagged along. Hua Cheng was only here for Xie Lian though, no one else. The mission didn't go smoothly though.

Missions rarely go smoothly when you're in the dark woods, with lots of monsters, and a heavy fog covers the forest. Not smooth at all when lower gods are bickering with Hua Cheng and Xie Lian.

They all got lost and wherever they ended up in these dark woods, had a block on the arrays. Xie Lian can't call for help or reach the heavens and neither can the other gods. What's worse! Powers are blocked too! It's like they've all stumbled upon an area of complete silence as if they were muted.

So even Hua Cheng is struggling a little bit right? Can't break the blocking energy source if you can't find it! Of course the gods all split up, leaving Xie Lian and Hua Cheng alone. It doesn't matter to Hua Cheng if his powers have been weakened or not he'll still do everything he can to protect Xie Lian from the monsters in the woods.

The more time Xie Lian and Hua Cheng stand around in the fog the more things they see. The deeper they go, the thicker the fog gets. And the thick the fog gets the more people they start to see the more things they start to see. It's not a good thing though, it's all illusions and they figured that out quickly when Hua Cheng swipes at a humanoid figure that looks just like Xie Lian.

Xie Lian doesn't have the time to solve the problem because him and Hua Cheng have a big possibility of being hurt right now. E-ming and rouye refuse to move. Hua Cheng will happily use his body and hands to defend Xie Lian if he has to though. Xie Lian says that's silly and chooses to run, dragging Hua Cheng along with him. The foggy ghosts only chase, and it's hard to run in such thick fog.

In fact the fog is so thick that eventually after running so long the ghosts give up on running after them. Xie Lian thought they were safe now but when he looks back Hua Cheng is gone.

Xie Lian shouts for him and tries to look around but the more he looks around the fog the more humanoid figures he sees. they're just. . . Fog. If Xie Lian could see Hua Cheng right now and he still wouldn't know if it was the real one.

The fog is dangerous, creating illusions of people Xie Lian already knows or things from his past, trying to trick him. He's only more lost and he doesn't know how to get out of this mess. It's actually very stressful, how does the fog know all these things, how is it forming the people he used to know and love?

Hua Cheng is in the same predicament. He wanders around the fog and at one point he thought he found Xie Lian again but when his hand wrapped around Xie Lian's arm, the figure turned in vapor. They're both lost. They're both being surrounded by crowds of foggy figures.

Just before the foggy figures are able to touch them the fog disperses though. A loud screech Is heard in the air, a sudden cold breeze blowing past Xie Lian and Hua Cheng, then the fog settles down. It turns out they weren't that far from each other at all and Xie Lian has never run into Hua Cheng's arms faster.

When they both see a foggy figure again they get nervous. One, because the fog has dispersed so they thought they were safe now. Two, it looks like you. Xie Lian already hates the fog he's already seen awful things but he doesn't want to see you like this. Not the fake you.

He can't help but tear up when 'you' try to urge him to come forward, but with the fog gone so is the blocked energy. Xie Lian shoots rouye out, trying to make the awful sight go away by rouye wraps around a surprisingly very sturdy wrist. You grip on rouye and pull Xie Lian forward a little, uttering a small "Dianxia, Hong er"

They know it's you, even though it seems so unbelievable. Xie Lian is literally jumping on you and knocking you to the ground. Hua Cheng manages to act a little more suave but he'd be a liar to say he isn't astonished. It's just a big pile of tears, embraces, and "I love you's".

Xie Lian and Hua Cheng waste no time bringing you home, they cling on to you desperately. Even if you just want to explore Paradise Manor it doesn't matter, both of them are at your side. They absolutely refuse to let you go. As if they're scared, if they look away you'll vanish again. Xie Lian and Hua Cheng just won't let that happen! They love you very much and they've missed out many years of loving and caring for you. They plan to repay all the missed affections

That's right!! Just a few days after posting Fei Gao's pic, I finally finished my drawing of another Demon Kid that was kinda collecting dust on my computer for about a year as just a head sketch... But, BUT!!!! That's because I was having a hard time coming up with a design that would fit right, and after doing Fei's art, I decided to finally finish this Demon Kid, and I did. Allow me to introduce you to Xin Yue, Son of Tso Lan and older brother of @amnshe-wolf 's Rita.( Also, I believe I am the first one to make a male child for Tso Lan, all the other's I've seen are girls) Here's a small bio about him: Being born to the most powerful Demon Sorcerer didn't exactly have its perks, for Xin Yue, his was mainly raised to be intelligent and scholarly just like his father, for Xin, however, he'd much rather spend time with his cousins as they had more freedom then him, but his father rarely had him and his sister leave the moon, and even if they did, Tso Lan made Xin stay inside reading and studying instead of interacting with his cousins. Xin would at times sneak off the moon to Earth for some free time, though not as often as his sister( He also started discovering his pansexuality due to seeing how attractive he found both female and male humans are). After his father and the rest of his aunts and uncles were banished to the Netherworld, he and his cousins were put into a pocket dimension by the 8 Immortals and were freed centuries later, Xin Yue now has a chance to be himself and is now an openly pansexual male model working for various fashion companies instead of being what his father wants him to be. Whew... done!!! I'm really proud of how well Xin turned out, and dang were his arms hard to draw!! I had so much trouble trying to pose the smaller arms, it was just really hard. I'm pretty proud of how well his face pincers turned out as I was thinking I'd have to abandoned them like all the other Tso Lan children, but it ended up looking great. I was also having trouble with his pants as I originally intended for his suit jacket and pants to be the same shade of purple, but it looked really weird so after a few more color options, I finally found the perfect color for the pants. Again, no human form, but knowing Xin, a little illusion magic to hide his extra arms and pincers, and BOOM!!!! Convincing human form, and for his skin, he'd just lie and say it's a skin condition. 2 Demon Kids down!! 6 to go!!! I don't know how long it will take for the next 6, so it might be a while since I was on a roll with Fei and Xin. And so I think that it, tell me what you think.

Rough Draft of Fire Warrior (Fake Kemurikage) Headcanons

Note: Hi Nichya! I am currently writing a long fic dealing with how post-Imbalance Avatar would go for the Fire Nation Royal Family and their close friends and I was wondering if you could please look at my headcanons and critic them? Cause I don’t want to engage in the usage of stereotypes, or bad writing in general, especially since I am writing about characters with mental illness. Also, I have been trying to send you an ask about lighting bending for the past couple days, and it keeps on not getting through to you. Considering my asks only had trouble getting to you around the same time you very recently IP banned that one dumbass who tried roasting you for liking Azula, could it be you accidently banned me as well (I am using a coffee shop to upload this)? If so can you please unban me for your answers to my asks have enriched my understanding of Avatar greatly. Thanks!

Here is the ask: How would you write Azula and/or The Fire Warriors teaching Zuko lighting and smoke bending (as part of their reconciliation/rehabilitation) while Zuko teaches them the true meaning of fire, the dragon dance, and the philosophy behind lighting redirection? Cause I thought part of Azula’s and Zuko’s reconciliation would have been teaching each other the bending/skills the other one was lacking, uplifting each other instead of trying to compete with each other or hurt each other. But canon is what it is.

Anyway, my headcanons are down below

Starting from left to right I am going to list the names, backstory, and mental illness(es) of the non-Azula Fire Warriors:

Beam (DID plus avoidant personality disorder)

Born in 84 A.G., as the second child of three, and the only daughter of an upstart noble and a stay at home mother, Beam was expected to marry into nobility considering how well her father had done selling steel to the Fire Nation Navy and the fact that she had inherited her mothers’ good looks.

But Beam, for a lack of better words, was often detached from reality and quickly became a source of shame for her family. For Beam would often drift out of reality into her own little world whenever confronted with large amounts of stress. 

And what causes stress in Beam? Being around strangers, especially large numbers of them like parents’ hosted one of their frequent parties in an attempt to move up in Fire Nation High Society.

In fact, Beam started wearing her distinctive hairstyle plus dye in an attempt to avoid having people come to her much to her brothers and parents displeasure. And when that didn’t work, she started to wear masks such as those based on the dark water spirit or the dragon emperor.

On a side note, the only thing that really helped Beam was firebending, where she had a natural gift. However, due to her performance issues, whenever her brothers and/or parents came to watch, she always messed up her routines, leading them to cancel Beam’s lessons when she was 16 in order to focus on making Beam marriageable. 

This caused Beam to despair and undergo a nasty episode in which she wholeheartedly believed she was the dark water spirit and almost killed her older brother, who was “obviously” the Dragon Emperor. Said brother also happened to be the one who suggested her parents cancel the firebending lessons and make Beam a proper woman since he was going to get married soon and didn’t want his fiance’s family to revoke the marriage contract once they better got to know his “weirdo” of a sister.

The above incident was the last straw for her parents, who had her involuntarily committed after coming to the “conclusion” that nothing would fix their “madwomen” of a daughter.

Aiko (Clinical Depression)

Born in 87 A.G. as the unexpected last daughter of a merchant and a very low level noblewomen, life has always been a struggle for Aiko. Her mother had her in her early 40s after unexpectedly getting pregnant and giving birth to Aiko prematurely. Aiko and her mother barely survived but her mother ended up suffering from postpartum depression, hurting their mother-daughter bond.

Aiko grew up seemingly loved, but in reality she was always sad. And no amount of gifts, such as some of the best firebending tutors in the land, could ever make Aiko happy for it appeared from Aiko’s pov that her mother never wanted to do anything with her while she happily gave her love and time to her oldest two kids, who were both boys and going to join the war effort. 

That and she was relentlessly bullied in school for her demure size; one day she tried standing up for herself by getting into an impromptu fight with her main bully, but she accidently badly burned her due to being actually quite skilled in firebending. While Aiko managed to avoid jail or getting into trouble, the trauma of almost killing some made Aiko withdraw further into herself much to her parent’s grief.

Her brothers were the main positive thing in her life, for they were understanding of her and didn’t really push her that hard…except in firebending where they were the only people she felt safe enough after her incident.

However, things took a turn for the worse when her brothers finally joined the army and died in the very same maneuver that Zuko talked out against as a 13 year old. And in her grief, Aiko tried hanging herself though the noose broke just before it went taunt and she ended up knocking herself out.

And when she woke up, she found herself in the asylum….

Chyou (Bi-polar disorder)

Born in 84 A.G. as the adopted child of two low tier Hu Xin Provinces (colonial) nobles who were unable to have kids of their own. Her parents tried their best with Chyou, but she was a very difficult child to raise, for, in their perspective, one moment Chyou was a hyper energetic girl who was all too willing to do anything to achieve her long-term goals and whims. Goals that included being the best firebender in her school and being a proper noblewoman. And whims including a desire to shave half her head though that particular fulfilled whim didn’t really harm Chyou for she liked the hairstyle and kept it much to her parent’s dismay. 

But in other moments, Chyrou was a heavily depressed girl, who couldn’t even be bothered to get out of her bed no matter how hard her parents tried to encourage/bribe/threaten her. 

However, these “cycles” were just subtle enough that with her parents covering for her, Chyou could pass as a normal kid…that is until one night, she overheard a conversation between her parents talking about how much Chyou looked like her mother’s sister. Confused since she thought she had no blood relations with either of her parents (they told her she was adopted from a young age since Chyou doesn’t share that much in common with either with her parents), she confronted them and the told Chyou her true origin.

Chyou was in fact the love baby of an Earth Kingdom soldier and a Fire Nation noblewomen who was Chyou’s “mother’s” sister. While the Fire Nation is progressive in terms of gender roles, it is against the law for Fire Nation noblewomen to copulate with the males of the other nations. 

For Sozin’s reasoning was that the strong men of the Fire Nation could civilize the demure women of the other nations while the barbarians’ uncivilized blood could easily overwhelm the wombs of their wombs. Wombs that were needed to make sure their great nation would never lack loyal citizens. In reality, due to the patriarchal nature of inheritance and property ownership, Sozin feared the colonized enemy would marry into Fire Nation nobility and basically overthrow him once their numbers reached critical mass.

But getting back on track, it wasn’t discovered that Chyou’s real mother was having the baby of an Earth Kingdom soldier, let alone she was going to elope with him. So the Fire Nation tried to capture the soldier and kill him, but he ran off. However, after allowing Chyou’s true mother to give birth, the Fire Nation had her killed off. But, Chyou’s Aunt and Uncle took pity on Chyou and successfully begged the authorities to let them raise Chyou as their own kid.

Chyou’s Aunt and Uncle begged for Chyou’s forgiveness and she gave it to them…though she later had a manic episode that caused her to sneak out of her Aunt’s and Uncle’s house to search for her father, hoping she would get to meet him.

It took several weeks and all of the tracking and survival skills she learned in school, but she found the last place her father inhabited. But when she knocked on the door, her bio grandma opened the door and, once Chyou explained who she was, told the “lying ashmaker to get away from me and never come back unless you want to die” in addition to telling Chyou that her father died during General Iroh’s march to Ba Sing Se. 

For Chyou’s bio grandma never knew about her son’s relationship with Chyou’s mother, let alone that he was going to have a child with her and thus thought the young firebender was punking her…not that it would have made a difference for after she couldn’t even bury her son due to him being completely burned to ashes, she developed an intractable hatred towards the Fire Nation and especially firebenders. And that hatred wouldn’t dissipate even if her own granddaughter was one of those “ashmakers.”

Heartbroken at the rejection, Chyou then fell into a serious depressive state and was going to kill herself until she was apprehended by June and returned to her family, who had been paid by Chyou’s parents to find her before the colonial authorities did. For if the “mixed breed” had been found going “back” to her Earth Kingdom family, Chyou would have been killed for her “genetic disloyalty” caused by her parentage.

And when Chyou kept uncontrollably talking about her failed trip, Chyrou’s parents made a hard decision and had her temporarily involuntarily committed since they would rather have her suffer at the asylum (as well as get help for her myriad of issues) than have her rambling expose her “genetic disloyalty” and have her brutally executed, making all their pleadings to allow them to raise her pointless.

However, bigoted political hardliner healers in the asylum saw her history and decided unilaterally that she was a threat to society and so manipulated her record to make so she had died, leaving Chyou’s Aunt and Uncle (who were pretty old) heartbroken to the point they died within a couple of months of each other and turning Chyou’s temporary stay into a permanent stay.

Chyou, depending on whether she is having a manic episode or depressive episode, oscillates between believing her Aunt and Uncle haven’t given up on her and believing that they have finally given up on account of being a disgrace due to her mental issues and bloodline.

Zirin (Oppositional Defiant Disorder with mild Conduct Disorder)

Born in 85 A.G. as the only daughter of some minor nobles who live in Caldera City. She has ODD, which manifests in her explosive temper, which her parents tried solving by doing everything, including getting her training in firebending, which Zirin has a natural aptitude in considering she became a master by 16.

But despite her parent’s best efforts, her anger still didn’t really subside, leading up to an incident where she burned a highly sought out suitor for rubbing her the wrong way, leading her reputation to sink and make her unmarriageable, making Zirin worthless in her traditionalist parents’ eyes.

Zirin offered to join the Fire Nation military so she could be useful, but her traditionalist parents said no since the military is not the proper place for a young noblewoman. So they had her involuntarily admitted to the asylum…

Ting (Schizophrenia)

Born in 82 A.G. as the daughter of a minor Fire Nation noble and an Earth Kingdom commoner (that her father took a liking to) who lived in Yu Dao, Ting on the surface supposedly lived a charmed life. But her life was anything but charmed, for she didn’t not inherit her mother’s slim face and body, but had the stout body and face of a typical Earth Kingdomer. Meaning that it would be next to impossible to marry her off to another noble family for even in the colonies, there was a preference for Fire Nation traits among the nobility.

Not helping was just after Ting was 6, she would suffer periodically from hallucinations of her father whenever she messed up in school or in court, often having her speech deteriorate into “incoherent” babbling (ex. Ting asking “him: to stop hitting her) and often fighting back against a person who wasn’t there.

Obviously, this was just another thing that made Ting a massive disappointment in her father’s eyes.

So upset as his “mistake” Ting’s father often beat up his wife and daughter and seeing how Avatar takes place in fantasy land 19th century Asia, there was no one who they could turn to. In fact the only reason why Ting was “tolerated” was because she was an elite firebender, who naturally excelled at Sozin Style firebending due to her rage and self-loathing caused by her “madness.”

Thus, even if Ting was unmarriageable, she was likely going to have a good career in the Fire Nation Army. That is until one night when Ting was 16 witnessed a really bad argument between her drunk parents that ended up with her father breaking her mother’s arm.

Enraged and having enough, she fought her father and ended up badly burning him in public as he tried to escape her. 

The authorities then restrained her and tried to put her on trial, but horrified at what she had done, she had a severe episode that made the authorities doubt her sanity.

So sensing an opportunity to save face and not have his dirty laundry aired, Ting’s father authorized the colonial authorities to ship Ting to a homeland mental asylum for “treatment” damn well knowing they would most likely never let Ting out. And he had authorized Ting’s involuntary committal at the dead of night so Ting’s mother could not disapprove.

Gamon (Higher Functioning autism)

Born in 83 A.G. to two high functioning autistic former soldiers living in Hama’s village, Gamon would have been raised in a loving family. That is until her parents one night disappeared during a full moon and never came back (they were captured by Hama and tortured to death but the little shred of humanity left in Hama caused Hama to leave the baby alone despite wanting to spite Gamon’s pleading parents). So Gamon was given to her next of kin, who were mid tier nobles. 

It turned out that Gamon’s mother was once a noble, but renounced it so she could join the Fire Nation Army due to her special interest being the military alongside firebending. This had caused Gamon’s maternal grandparents and Gamon’s Uncle great shame and had also caused them to disown Gamon’s mother. And the sad thing was that despite Gamon’s mother wanting to reconcile, her parents died just after she got pregnant.

So when Gamon’s Uncle and Aunt got a hold of her, they promised that they would raise her into the proper noblewomen Gamon’s mother should have been.

And they were very harsh in doing so, making sure Gamon took to heart what her tutors told her what was necessary to do to be the perfect noblewomen. However, lightning struck twice, and Gamon developed a special interest in both firebending and military history, which she hid from her Uncle and Aunt by practicing firebending in the morning before either of them woke up and reading military history at night after they had gone to bed.

Gamon managed to hide it until she was 15 years old, where, after being suspicious of Gamon knowing an obscure military battle that took place during the start of Azulon’s reign while also giving pointers to a boy she was courting, they had one of the maids spy on her and report to them.

This, combined with Gamon’s symptoms such as her stimming (she likes to rub her knuckles because she likes how they feel) plus her social awkwardness (no matter how hard they drilled her, Gamon always floundered in noble get togethers), made her guardians give up her.

And not wanting a repeat of what happened to Gamon’s mother and the resulting loss of face, they had her involuntarily committed to the asylum and washed their hands of her.

1 - I absolutely loooooooooooove the idea of Zuko and Azula teaching each other, and it could start with Zuko playcating Azula by letting her bend again (which he knows she desperately wants) by making it clear she’s going to have to do it his way - seeing fire as a source of life, not just death. They’re likely to end up fighting a few times because of course, but it would mostly work out as intended, and Azula would then teach him what she knows.

2 - Zuko sharing what he learned from the dragons (while still keeping the secret) with the people who needed to learn it the most is what he should have done from the begining, especially with his sister, and it fits with his new goal of guiding his nation towards peace and showing them that this idea that war and destruction is “the Fire Nation way/culture” is absolute bullshit.

3 - It’s hard to say how “accurate” your portrail of mental illness is since I’m seeing just “your notes” so to speak, but it looks like you’re in the right path. Just be sure to remember that, while mental illness and disabilities do play a huge part in someone’s personalities that is not ALL of their personalities and you’ll be good to go.

jarvan iv’s new lore / the good, the bad and the oh?

i just wanted to make a more official post on the changes or expansions in his new bio and my own opinions on them and why i think they’re good or bad or if they’re confusing. i will be posting a like thing to the forums in hopes of getting some answers from riot.

THE GOOD !

JARVAN III ! riot has added further information about jarvan the third, the current king of demacia. it’s really nice to actually have some official information on the man who rules the entirety of demacia rather than having to infer things from a mix of slight mentions in character bios and old lore. we know he is a smart ruler, one with a strong political mind allowing him to prevent infighting between political houses. we now know him to a loving, if a bit absent father, and a devoted husband and is truly trying to do right by his son. man even seemed unfazed by his son bringing home a half dragon when the entire demacian court was questioning the wisdom of letting the prince have a dragon on his personal guard. i don’t know man, they’ve made jarvan iii chill and i like him.

XIN ZHAO EXISTS ! this is more existence xin has seen in years and look i know it’s a brief ass mention in jarvan’s lore on how y’know he is actually doing his job of the seneschal of demacia and the lightshield family’s steward and just looking after a young jarvan but damn. yes. give xin lore and give jarvan the personal relationships which should have been established before and did exist back in the old - old lore.

EXTRA DETAILS ! i do like the small extra details given to events in this new biography. for instance, before he warred in the areas to the south, now we know the true names of these areas and where he fought and that these were also the same lands jarvan i lost his head to sion fighting in. we know a little more about his childhood and his education and why things were the way they were. just nice little details which gives his early bits of lore some interesting bits and bobs.

THIS LINE ! ‘ and the king beginning to feel the weight of his years, the prince must ensure he is prepared to one day inherit the throne, and be crowned King Jarvan IV of Demacia. ’ this line right here. this makes me feel things, that is all. just damn, king jarvan iv of demacia. now ain’t that a mood.

THE BAD !

LADY CATHERINE ! now, jarvan’s mother was only once mentioned back in the journals of justice and i honestly thought riot had forgotten about her. yet, i still joked with the release of sylas that they do not touch her. and, you know what, they really shouldn’t have. i am happy she got mention but i hate that she was revived into lore purely for the trope of killing off female characters as some kind of poor excuse for development and angst in male character’s lives. like yes, demacia is low technology and anti - magic so childbirth is probably a dangerous thing which results in a great many more deaths than in the modern day, but it was wholly unnecessary for jarvan’s older lore did not require it so it was a detail cheaply used and unwarranted. 

NO CAPTURE ! jarvan’s narrative across all lores from the oldest to the one just prior to now have included him spending time in noxian custody due to a mistake on his part and him feeling the need for self - improvement and redemption. this has been his hallmark for many years and provided strong reason for character development by curbing his pride and his rash behaviour, showing his strong empathy for his fellow man and how that is both boon as well as cause cause him to make blind errors. each of these lores has provided us with a sheltered character pulled into a world far more gritty than he was living in, struggling, failing but rebuilding himself into a stronger person. yet here, jarvan barely fails. his ‘ downfall ’ moment is simply that his battalion gets splintered off after scores of victories which spread them too thin. that’s right, he won too much, got cocky and kept pressing forward. while it mentions he was troubled by what he saw there was no blind dash ignoring of orders cause he couldn’t let the murderers of his people walk free. nah, now it’s more an ego complex following a pledge to bring stability to the region and possibly regrouping when you hear the gates of mourning fell is not on the agenda when doing that. so instead, he is splintered off and he and some survivors wouldn’t surrender and escaped into the forests where they were hunted down and jarvan finally took an arrow to the knee side. here it catches up with the older lore and he lies dying in a fallen tree till our dragon friend comes to save him after mistaking him for food ( i hope they don’t remove that line from her lore when it gets updated i love it ). not to mention it removes his torture by noxus and i have no idea how swain’s line works anymore or how sion even exists.

NO VILLAGE ! so jarvan gets saved and brought to castle wrenwall which is where he combated yvva in older lore and not the small demacian village. this further changes jarvan’s narrative as they know who he is. the garrison commander instantly knows jarvan is the prince and thanks shyvana for saving her. her being a part of demacia no longer becomes because they saw her saving some random demacian and helping him and so having demacian like values and so inviting her to stay because she is a good person. it instead becomes well you saved the prince we are indebted to you. it also loses the charm of shyvana helping out in a village and the prince having to learn to live as a normal person since he is pretending to be so. it also squishes the timeline some but i’ll cover that in the next bit . . .

JARVAN’S SELFISH ! jarvan’s motivation to help shyvana is completely changed. i doubt this was intentional but the wording is very off. before: shyvana tries to leave because she knows the dragon attacks that have started happening are her fault. jarvan stops her, learns of her past and then pledges to help her because she is his friend and he owes his life to her. his own doesn’t matter, he will help her or die trying. now: the very recount heavy style of the rewriting of this new lore implies he sees yvva coming in the distance and he sees her as an opportunity to redeem himself, not help shyvana. in fact, in this new lore they barely interact. jarvan has no reason to care for her since he is still injured when yvva appears so they haven’t spent long together. like when i said the timeline is squashed i mean from several months down to maybe a couple weeks. there is no need for this reduction and all it does is hurt jarvan and shyvana’s friendship and turn jarvan into someone who cares more for his ego than his friend. what happened to learning about charity, huh?

GAREN BARELY EXISTS ! do i need to say more, jarvan’s old lore told much of their friendship and how garen’s efforts saved him but thats now deleted from the timeline and all jarvan is left with is a mention that they were friends, an almost copy paste from garen’s older lore which mentions he admires his fortitude and that now he is shield - captain so jarvan needs to shape up. it just doesn’t feel connected or personal. how am i meant to see that two people are friends if all you say is, yeah, they’re friends. how about some show not tell?

TOO MANY OTHER PEOPLE / REALLY RUSHED ! now i’m sure you’ll be surprised since i said i was happy to see stuff on jarvan iii and xin ( cause i am ) the issue is the writers are working under a kind of word limit system so while i love reading about other champions and characters, devoting several paragraphs of jarvan’s limited amount to other characters and info which is interesting but doesn’t push his story too much feels a little cheap. this rushed pace they then had to write with acts to flatten his character. things that were written once in beautiful detail are now reduced to recounted fact that lack the emotion of what the previous did. ie: CURRENT: ‘ He was devastated. He had failed his family, his kingdom, and his brothers-in-arms. ’ OLDER: ‘ As Jarvan was dragged further from Demacia during his weeks of captivity, he was ashamed that the rashness of his decision to pursue the Noxians had led to needless Demacian deaths. Crushed by the loss, he came to believe he no longer deserved to live in Demacia, let alone inherit its throne. ‘ even just this little bit on his emotions post failure. before it goes into how he stews in his grief for weeks. his shame. his loss. he no longer feels like he can be called demacian. now he is just devastated because he failed.

THE OH ?

Tù tập trung trong trại cải tạo và tù chưa tập trung ngoài xã hội đều giống nhau, đều không biết đến ngày mai, không biết tương lai, chỉ lao động quần quật như trâu, bò, rồi đắm chìm trong nhục dục, hận thù, dưới sự khống chế tinh vi, xảo quyệt của nhà cầm quyền tham nhũng, thối nát và hệ thống công an bạo lực, sắt máu. Cả thế giới văn minh đều biết đây là một cuộc xâm lăng mới, những chưa thể tận diệt được. May thay, Đất Nước Việt Nam lại xuất hiện một vĩ nhân phi thường. Ông xuất thân là một quân nhân QLVNCH, cũng từng phục vụ Tổ Quốc trong thời chinh chiến với cấp bậc Trung Úy dưới thời Đệ Nhị Việt Nam Cộng Hòa do Tổng Thống Nguyễn Văn Thiệu Lãnh Đạo. Sau khi xuất ngoại, ông đã dẫn đầu trong việc kêu gọi toàn dân chống lại CS và được bầu làm Thủ Tướng Chính Phủ Quốc Gia Việt Nam Lâm Thời năm 1991 với những việc Ông đã thực hiện sau đây: Ông thành lập và là đoàn trưởng Thi Văn Đoàn “Ra Khơi” năm 1970, cũng là chủ biên tạp chí “Ra Khơi” với bút hiệu Nam Quán. Ông đã sáng tác nhiều chiến đấu ca và trường khúc với tên hiệu là Anh Thương. Năm 1970-1971, Ông tốt nghiệp Sĩ Quan khóa 5/71 trường Bộ Binh Thủ Đức, phục vụ tại Bộ Chỉ Huy Tiểu Khu Quảng Trị, Tiểu đoàn 122, vùng địa đầu giới tuyến và đặc trách trưởng đơn vị đặc nhiệm Hắc Hổ (Black Tiger), “Đi không tiếng về không lời” nhằm truy lùng những tên đầu sỏ CS. Trong thời gian đó ông cũng là trưởng ban chương trình phát thanh “Vùng Hỏa Tuyến” tỉnh Quảng Trị và là trưởng ban tâm lý chiến nhằm chiêu hồi cán binh CS. Cấp bậc sau cùng của ông là Trung úy QLVNCH. Sau khi CS cưỡng chiếm miền nam VN ngày 30.04.1975, Ông bị cầm tù hơn ba (3) năm trong các trại tù CS, lần lượt từ: Trảng lớn thuộc tỉnh Tây Ninh, Long Khánh và sau đó bị biệt giam tại trại tù Bù Gia Mập, thuộc tỉnh Phước Long. Ông vượt ngục vào mùa đông 1978 và chỉ huy tàu VNKG-0602 chở 524 thuyền nhân, từ vượt biển đến đảo Pulau Tangah, Mã Lai ngày 16.05.1979. Ngày 14.08.1980 Ông và gia đình đến Los Angeles, California, Hoa Kỳ. Chưa đầy 1 tháng sau Ông tham gia Lực Lượng Người Việt Quốc Gia tại Santa Ana và làm trưởng đoàn Văn Nghệ Đấu Tranh, mà đồng bào thương yêu gọi là “Đoàn Văn Nghệ Áo Đen”. Ông tốt nghiệp chuyên viên điện toán, rồi được hãng “Measurement System & Controls” mời làm kỹ sư của công ty. Ông nghiên cứu Computer/IBM Compatible. Trong thời gian này Ông thực hiện Bios và lập hãng “Clone Master”. Năm 1983-1984, Ông thí nghiệm để sản xuất máy điện toán tên “Dao Computer” có giá rẻ, nhưng tốc độ nhanh gần gấp đôi máy điện toán IBM, gọi là “IBM CLONE”. Ông đồng thời sáng lập “Dao Computer INC.“ để sản xuất máy điện toán “Dao Computer”. Ông còn là chủ nhiệm tạp chí thương mãi “Viet Nam Business Magazine“, chủ tịch công ty mãi dịch quốc tế “Pacific Trading and Consulting“ và là chủ nhân của Công Ty “Teletech Paging”. Năm 1989, Ông trình bản sơ thảo “Quốc Dân Quyết Nghị” lên Triết gia Lương Kim Định, Chủ Tịch Hội Đồng Quốc Dân Nguyên Lão đã ký ủy nhiệm thư giao cho Ông trọng trách “Chủ Tịch Ban Thường Vụ Hội Đồng Quốc Dân”. Cũng trong năm này, khi Bắc Bộ Phủ đệ đơn xin cơ quan văn hóa khoa học Liên Hiệp Quốc UNESCO tôn vinh Hồ Chí Minh (HCM là danh nhân thế giới, thì Ông cùng đồng bào hải ngoại và “Hội Lễ Nghĩa Liêm sĩ” biến chiến dịch “Trăm Việt Đáp Lời” của Tổ Chức “Dân Sử Việt” thành chiến lược “Ký Đạp Mặt HCM” và yêu cầu UNESCO so sánh dấu vân tay của Nguyễn Ái Quốc với dấu vân tay của xác HCM đang quàng tại Ba Đình, đã đánh bại mưu mô của CSVN và TC tan thành mây khói. Năm 1989-1990, Ông cùng với ông Nguyễn Hậu, Hội Trưởng Tổng Hội Tù Nhân Chính Trị CS, thiết lập hồ sơ Tù Nhân Chính Trị để giúp các chiến sĩ QLVNCH bị CSVN cầm tù, được đoàn tụ với gia đình tại Hoa Kỳ, qua chương trình H.O. (Humanitarian Operation). Ông còn vận động các chương trình tài trợ, giúp đồng bào Việt Nam tỵ nạn CS được định cư tại Hoa Kỳ, qua chương trình C.P.A. (Comprehensive Plan of Action) và đồng thời liên lạc, vận động các nước như: Kuwait, Vanuatu, Ukraine, Úc Đại Lợi và Liên Hiệp Âu Châu để giúp đỡ đồng bào Việt Nam tỵ nạn CS tại các quốc gia này. Năm 1990, đảng Cộng Hòa mời Ông làm thành viên chủ nhân (Host committee). Bộ Xã Hội tiểu bang California đã gửi văn thư công nhận Phong Trào Việt Nam Tân Dân Chủ do Ông thành lập và lãnh đạo, đã có công tranh đấu, giúp đỡ, mở lớp dạy xử dụng máy điện toán, dạy Anh Văn và cách thức hội nhập với đời sống mới, giúp đỡ cho những đồng bào vừa được định cư tại Hoa Kỳ. Mùa Thu năm 1990, đích thân Ông cùng với các chiến hữu đã thực hiện lá Quốc Kỳ Việt Nam Cộng Hòa dài nhất thế giới, hơn 90 Feet, ngay tại Trung Tâm Thủ Đô Người Việt Tỵ Nạn cộng sản vùng Nam California, thành phố Garden Grove. Ông đã triệu tập ĐẠI HỘI DÂN CHỦ ĐOÀN KẾT, để thỉnh thị ý kiến của quốc Dân, đồng bào VN xin thành lập một Chính Phủ Quốc Gia để đương đầu với CS với Thủ Tướng đầu tiên là cụ Nguyễn Trân. Nhưng chưa đầy một (1) tháng, Thủ Tướng Nguyễn Trân đã xin từ nhiệm vì lý do sức khoẻ, nên đồng bào bầu chọn Ông thay thế. Ngay sau khi nhận Trọng Nhiệm Thủ Tướng, Ông đã liên lạc ngoại giao với Hoa Kỳ và quốc tế để ráo riết vận động công nhận CPQGVNLT và Quốc Kỳ VNCH. Ông yêu cầu họ can thiệp, giúp đỡ cho người Việt tỵ nạn CS. Ông đưa người xâm nhập Việt Nam và đến tận các trại tỵ nạn để cùng với đồng bào sát cánh trong việc tranh đấu chống cưỡng bức hồi hương. Ông cũng đã in ấn và gửi sách báo, tài liệu, cũng như dùng tài chánh của mình để giúp đỡ đồng bào tại mười bảy (17) trại tỵ nạn CS vùng Đông Nam Á, thuộc các quốc gia Mã Lai, Hồng Kông, Thái Lan, Phi Luật Tân và Nam Dương. Để vừa trường kỳ đấu tranh, vừa tự rèn luyện sự nhẫn nhục, chịu đựng của bản thân, Ông đã về sa mạc Adelanto, trên mảnh đất bốn mươi (40) mẫu Ông đã bỏ tiền mua, để khởi công tự xây bia Ngũ Vị Thần Tướng, Thánh Miếu và Kỳ Đài, để ghi ơn, thờ kính những Anh Hùng Tử Sĩ, những Chiến Sĩ Vô Danh đã Vị Quốc Vong Thân, cùng những oan hồn của đồng bào VN muốn chạy thoát loài qủy đỏ CS, nhưng đã bị thảm tử trên đường vượt biên, vượt biển. Ông cũng cho an vị, chôn cất tro cốt của bốn (4) mẹ con, mà Ông đã xin nhận, khi còn ở đảo tỵ nạn PulauTangah-Mã Lai. Ông đã tịnh tâm, tu thiền tại đây hơn 25 năm. Ông được sự ủng hộ của Ông Barry Thaxton, Chủ Tịch Ủy Hội Đồng Minh Hoa Kỳ, và nhận được 2 Công Hàm của Tổng Thống Bill Clinton mời hợp tác xây dựng dân chủ, an bình và thịnh vượng cho thế giới với lời hứa thời gian sẽ hoàn tất. Ông còn được Chính Phủ Lâm Thời Ukraine mời đọc tham luận tại đại hội mười một (11) nước trong khối Liên Bang Sô Viết (cũ), mà ái nữ của Ông 11 tuổi, đã thay cha đọc huấn từ. Ngày 05.07.2005, Dân Biểu Liên Bang Hoa Kỳ mời Ông đọc tham luận tại Đại Hội đảng Cộng Hòa. Trước cử tọa là những chính khách, Dân Biểu, Nghị Sĩ Hoa Kỳ, Ông tuyên bố tiếp tục đấu tranh giải thể CSVN. Ngày 15.10.2010, Thủ Tướng gặp Quốc Cựu Edward Nixon tại Thư Viện Nixon. Trong sự cổ võ hoan nghênh nhiệt liệt của toàn thể cử tọa, gồm những chính khách cao cấp, những nhà lãnh đạo, tướng lãnh, các đại tài phiệt Hoa Kỳ và thế giới, cùng các vị dân cử, dân biểu Hoa Kỳ, Thủ Tướng đã tuyên bố chủ quyền của Việt Nam tại biển Đông. Ông đã nộp đơn kiện TC và CSVN tại Tòa Hình Sự Quốc Tế, đòi bồi thường 38 ngàn tỷ USD cho đồng bào Việt Nam. Ngày 17.04.2013, Tổng thư Ký Liên Hiệp Âu Châu (28 quốc gia) gửi Công Hàm công nhận danh xưng CPQGVNLT và vai trò Thủ Tướng của Ông. Ngày 23.05.2013, Ông nhận được Công Hàm thứ hai của Liên Hiệp Âu Châu, với hai (2) Nghị Quyết xác nhận tội ác của CSVN đã đàn áp tôn giáo và nhân quyền tại VN. Ngày 27.05.2013, Ông nhận được phúc đáp của toà hình sự quốc tế (ICC International Criminal Court) đã nhận được hồ sơ do Ông đứng tên, để truy tố 19 tên đầu sỏ CSVN do Hồ Chí Minh cầm đầu. Sau khi nhận được phúc đáp của ICC, đơn kiện Hồ Chí Minh lại được gửi cho Tập Cận Bình, và y đã ký nhận. Ngày 30.04.2016, Chủ Tịch Hội Siêu Quyền Lực (Governmental Impact), Ông Jim Dantona và Chủ Tịch Hội Đồng Điều Hành của Thành Phố Los Angeles, đích thân mang Tuyên Dương của Chính Phủ Hoa Kỳ và của Hội Đồng Thành Phố Los Angeles đến tại quận Cam với nội dung khen ngợi, trân trọng công nhận thành tích trong hơn ba mươi (30) năm phục vụ cộng đồng quận Cam và thế giới của Ông. Ngày 16.02.2018, với cương vị là Thủ Tướng CPQGVNLT Ông đã Khai Sáng Đệ III VNCH. (Trích và tóm gọn từ tài liệu “Sơ Thảo Hiến Pháp Đệ Tam VNCH”). Thưa qúy vị và các bạn! Căn cứ vào quá trình, thành tích và sự liên lũy, nhẫn nại hy sinh hơn ba mươi (30) năm để tìm đường giúp dân, cứu nước của Tổng Thống Đào Minh Quân. Xuất phát từ lòng yêu nước, thương dân vô bờ bến, Ông đã chấp nhận từ bỏ danh lợi, tiền tài, hạnh phúc gia đình và tuổi thanh xuân, để đơn độc vào sa mạc, không một mái nhà, chịu đựng cảnh sống thiếu thốn, bần hàn, ngày nóng cháy da, đêm lạnh thấu xương, trong suốt hơn hai mươi (20) năm trời dai dẳng. Nếu so sánh với Thủ Tướng Anh Quốc, người được xưng tụng là Vĩ Nhân của Anh Quốc thì Tổng Thống Đào Minh Quân phải là VĨ NHÂN CỦA THẾ KỶ. Tại sao? Tuy cùng cấp bậc Trung Úy, cùng gia nhập quân đội, cùng được bầu làm Thủ Tướng trong thời chiến tranh và cùng hy sinh cho Tổ Quốc, trường kỳ tranh đấu chống giặc để bảo vệ Tổ Quốc. Nhưng Tổng Thống chúng ta có những đặc điểm hy sinh, chịu đựng cao hơn, nhiều hơn, trong một hoàn cảnh cô đơn, nghiệt ngã hơn nhiều. Vả lại, nếu so với Đức Quốc Xã, thì CS gian ma, thâm hiểm, ác độc hơn gấp bội phần. Đương đầu với CS khi chúng trà trộn trong hàng ngũ người quốc gia mà trong tay không có quân đội và vũ khí, mà đồng minnh thì chưa ra mặt hổ trợ, thì đúng là “Không tài nào thành công được”. Nhưng Ông ta đã thành công lật mặt nạ của tên Cộng phỉ Hồ Chí Minh, đang khắc chế Tàu Cộng và thành lập được Chính Phủ tại hải ngoại. Hơn thế nữa, ông đã chấp nhận hy sinh cả tuổi thanh xuân, tiền tài, danh vọng và hạnh phúc gia đình, để tịnh tu gian khổ tại sa mặc hơn 20 năm. Thủ Tướng Churchill có làm được như vậy chăng? Nếu Thủ Tướng Wins Winston Churchill được nhìn nhận là Vĩ Nhân của nước Anh, thì người Việt nên tự hào và hãnh diện có Tổng Thống Đào Minh Quân là một Vĩ Nhân của Việt Nam và của Thời Đại hôm nay. Webvan.com - mô hình nhà kho bán thực phẩm online giao sau 30 phút, đầu tư 30M $ cho kho xưởng, và chết. Kozmo.com - bán và cho thuê game, tạp chí qua mạng, xanh cỏ. Nhìn lại, không mới, các mô hình online, tech base nay hồi sinh với hình thái IOT, AI, blockchain, online marketing, sharing-economics, big data, cloud company .etc...

Để đối sánh, tại Việt Nam, những mô hình làm MXH du lịch, ẩm thực burn 5$/user non-active, copy mô hình trên global để làm local với hi vọng bán thân; làm cloud-kitchen qua...Facebook; đưa sản phẩm làng nghề truyền thống mix digital để tăng phi mã bất chấp vùng nguyên liệu, sản lượng, dây chuyền sản xuất chưa đáp ứng được. Tư vấn tâm lý online/offline không bằng cấp từ bộ Y tế, lách luật bằng các khoá tháng 5 còn chưa biết gì tháng 6 đã update bio trên Facebook và hành nghề. Xưa start-up dot-com xài web, nay start-up Việt xài App. Xưa nâng cấp servers, tránh Y2K, nay xài AI với bờ lốc chain. Xưa dot-com như Pets.com burn 1M$ vào quản cáo OOH và brand activation, nay start-up xài Zero cost marketing, chạy bùng hoặc vả vào mặt người dùng bằng siêu target, lớn tí burn rate vít ads bám đuổi theo style Luxstay.

Start-ups đã thế, chicken incubators (trans: vườn ươm gà) còn đầu tư bạt mạng bất chấp business models như trò hề các sinh viên đại học hay mang ra show, tổ chức connect hàng tuần động viên tinh thần và check-in Facebook, thảng hoặc kết hợp bên Đoàn bên Đảng tổ chức events khởi nghiệp. Tất cả, incubators chỉ xin khoảng 10% cổ phẩn, việc của bọn anh là sẽ thổi bóng để các em lùa investors, kiêm tư vấn investors exit và lùa lứa investors vào round tiếp theo.

Vậy, có nên lướt sóng start-up không?

Có, nhưng cần chữa bệnh ngáo trước, vả như Nguyễn Hoà Bình vậy. Start-up nhận fund, rót vốn đốt tiền và lỗ l��u dài, investors ngậm bồ hòn lùa vòng sau.
