13. are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?

hmm, this is a tough one? I think I've dealt with too many toxic people to deal with like characters intentionally being rude because they like someone. I don't accept the "I'm mean because I love you" standpoint. that being said, joking banter like sirius is totally okay with me!

18. if you wrote a sequel to my sun, my moon, what would it involve?

knowing my angsty ass self I'd probably do something where remus gets major self-doubt even though the reader is super happily dating him like a few months after they go on their first date, maybe something where the other marauders take him on a self-care day to cheer him up? oh damn I absolutely have to write this now, wow

23. what’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written, but would like to?

oooh this is a good one! I have a couple awesome requests for soulmate au's so that's going to be super exciting! I think I'd just really like to be more creative with my ideas that aren't requested?

I love @waitimcomingtoo's writing and ideas so much, they really inspire me to stretch the limits of au's and retellings but with pre-existing characters. I'd love to do some multi-chapter retellings with some of my favourite characters! (like a beauty and the beast retelling with remus? maybe? yes? I think so? holy shit maybe I need to just ramble more because apparently I have my best ideas when answering asks???)

30. have you ever written something that was out of your comfort zone? If so, what was it, and how did it affect your approach to writing fic thereafter?

yes, always! with every story I write I like to challenge myself in new ways, whether it's a character I don't know as well, or a concept I haven't tried before.

the best example was my sirius story, of shakespeare and stars, it was a real challenge writing for a character that was a lot more outgoing and confident than I am, and doesn't have the same type of insecurities as remus, plus I never know if people reading will enjoy my humour tbh 😅 but I've had a couple comments on the golden seeker about sirius' cameo so that makes me really happy!

Rescue Bots in Earthspark anon, if the Terrans meet the Rescue Bots in universe, they would probably have an episode where they decide to try out being a Rescue Bot themselves and end up discovering something about themselves in the process. Don't know if the Rescue Bot Academy bots would be in that mix given how it seems like there haven't been many bots younger than Bumblebee shown in the show.

On a semi-related note, if Whirl does appear in ES, I kind of want them to be like their Cyberverse version while the RBA version of him would be Twirl and his "daughter."

You're very right yes yes, and I can see them certainly considering it (especially Nightshade thanks to that episode where they played temporary Batman for a minute)

I feel like it would be so goddamn adorable if, after they get the Allspark and a bit after that, they meet the rescue bots again with new recruits (whether it's the recruits we see in RBA or brand new ones)

Yes on Whirl and baby Whirl being Twirl

Whirl would be somewhat older than the terrans, but probably still young and from the Allspark creating a spark, and I can see Whirl protecting her fiercely

He'd also represent another autobot who's rough around the edges!

I can actually see him assuming the terrans are a threat at first because unfamiliar mecha and Whirl is still pretty prickly, but I can see him calming down a lot upon being told / realizing they're just kids too.

I feel like there would be cool interactions between Hashtag and Twirl, Twirl would make a comment about how Hashtag sounds super duper cool and fun emotions ensue
