You know, one thing i always wondered about was Wei wuxian's reaction to being taken to cloud recesses as mxy.

We all know that WWX and LWJ did not have a good relationship prior to his death right? Like, they always fought. Although it was fine during the time WWX lived at the burial mounds with the wen's, what about after?

Ikik, most of the clans were very dependant on the Jin clan for resources and couldn't actually go against them, especially the Lan since LXC and JGY were so close. But LWJ was a well known rightous man. If he would have spoken up, WWX would have been investigated and proven innocent. But LWJ didn't. And wwx knew this and still thought of him as a good person.

The last memory WWX had of LWJ was fighting against him at nightless city, and LWJ telling him he was out of control.

This is what confuses me. WWX was so against going to cloud recesses right? Because he had always assumed he would be imprisoned there because of his use of demonic cultivation.

When he can back as MXY, he still used demonic cultivation in front of LWJ, the same man who always wanted to 'imprison' WWX. Why did he go along with LWJ to cloud recesses, kinda carefree and chill, dispite knowing that he's going to be imprisoned. Then there was also Wen Ning. WWX found out WN was alive, and still stayed back at cloud recesses.

This dude was the grandmaster of demonic cultivation! He was a genius! He could have easily gotten out of cloud recesses but still stayed! For what!?!

He got distracted by naked LWJ!

the way mxtx had sooo many opportunities to break cx up and write wx moments pre-revival but they stayed together despite yzy and jfm’s marriage problems, literally lotus pier burning and sacrificing for each other, cx had their had a promise moment after xuanwu cave instead of cute wx bonding wwx literally says lwj u r boring i wish jc was here instead even the defection was literally staged and they were on good terms up until jzx and jyl died the odds were soo stacked against them but they stayed together through soo much and mxtx could’ve killed jc off to transition to wx but she doesn’t and gives us the mf golden core transplant i just… it’s such a what happened to the original plot of the movie wwx gets a second chance and gets w lwj like jc is right there you even get a bogo free nephew UGH i think mxtx learned her lesson cause tgcf is remixed mdzs god edition and jc was split into fx and mq who can fuck each other instead of xl who gets to fuck the guy who waited 700 years (it makes lwj’s 16 years pale in comparison lol)

literallyyyy mxtx had so many chances where she could have delved into wangxian’s relationship or reduced chengxian’s emotional impact but she just didn’t ever do it. she gave chengxian so much and wrote wangxian with subzero sexual tension, like miss girl i think you might be subconsciously shipping chengxian too.

lmao tgcf is kind of remixed mdzs, i guess mxtx really liked the theme. imo i didn’t find fx or mq to be that similar to jc, beyond superficial aspects. it is funny to think that mxtx saw the reception jc was getting and went hm i don’t like that he’s such a strong competitor and so made two ppl to be the mc’s childhood companions turned enemies.

so i’m at the guanyin temple showdown of the exr translation now and it’s so much more dramatic than the manhua lmaoo aside from the wwx lwj love confession u also have jgy being abnormally creepy calm and digging some giant hole in the ground for reasons he won’t tell anyone else about, lxc getting pissed for once in the entire novel, su she getting PISSED OFF by wwx and his nonsense, and not to mention jin ling getting stuck there with them as well (and fairy gone rogue outside while being hunted down like some felon) and nhs who’d fainted was just dragged into the temple by su she and then jiang cheng always having to make a dramatic scene entrance as usual comes in through the doors fighting and announcing his arrival with zidian and all the time it’s raining outside and a storm is getting worse ,,, everytime wwx and lwj wanted to say something there would be some knocking at the temple door and some new mf would show up like a comedy show character bingo, like, literally everyone and their mother was coming to guanyin temple

its like jgy was collecting hostages (he only started out with 1, lxc) and then some of them just deposited themselves conveniently at his doorstep and he was like: okay this was unplanned BUT i can roll with this, come inside everyone and see what’s happening but none of yall are leaving this place

there’s a lot of things i’d tell them but the important thing would be: you don’t have to be like everyone else, being different doesn’t make you weird or bad, take pride in your interests even if it’s not something your friends like or agree with. you get to decide who you are and who you will become. listen to your heart. spend time with your family and friends and enjoy it to the fullest. don’t be an asshole. like seriously, think before you say stuff even if you’re angry. i know you’re angry but it won’t always be like that. people do infact love you and you’re not gonna feel alone forever. yeah that’s the gist of it.

harvest - what fictional character do you most identify with? Why?

(i’m bouta overshare i am sorry) tine and wei wuxian!! big disaster bi energy with a side dish of chaos. they’re adorable and love being babied. (i think i’m cute ok) they’re both social and talkative but use that to hide their actual feelings. sunshine smiles and adorable laughs but they both have a hard time believing people love them and genuinely care about them. and i’m not nearly as cool as wwx (that sexy mf cannot be compared to ok) but i get him? good at things if he just puts in the effort and concentrates for once, has so much potential but is still seen as other because his perspective is unconventional? loves his family and will do anything for them but cant agree with them when it comes to things that he really really cares about. this is probably just me projecting my trans/qpoc experiences on him but yeah

born from a father from the wei sect & a mother who sells bitter melon in town. she is not cultivator and not involved in this world at all, and a-fu will do WHATEVER!! he can to make sure she keeps out of harm’s way

father was involved in researching the yang iron but then he mf died.... a-fu has his notes...... suddenly he cannot read

he literally showed up @ the wei sect with six things of emperor’s smile and was like whaddup pls take me in im bored. the sect leader at the time found him amusing so she was like yea buddy lets get it, but u gotta give me four of those jugs

personality-wise, he literally acts like he’s drunk all the time, saying stuff no one really understands?? lest care about??? he’s a big gossiper and would exaggerate the h*ck out of all his stories & any rumors he hears

he has no left hand and has peach fuzz for hair ( see icon )

and this is bc the wei sect has 1 rule and that rule is don’t use wwx’s flute for evil ( and wwx made sure of that by putting a curse on it !! )

well once upon a time, a-fu came across an acquaintance who started to play sum evil music on the flute

and a-fu, being a stupid ass gryffindor, reached out and grabbed the flute to stop him but ALAS the curse destroyed the acquaintance and began eating at his hand

other members saw him with no hand & the flute and was like YOU DARE?!?! he’s not kicked out bc sect leader believes him but ppl are like HMMM sus

bc he’s dramatic as hell, he shaved off his head and was like lmao i got kicked out!!!! don’t listen to him

ok but long story aside, he’ll always lie and tell diff ridiculous stories of how he lost his hand ranging from “i sat on it too long” to “a chicken pecked it off” no where near the truth. also he likes ppl rubbing his head....

he’s got high alcohol tolerance & high pain tolerance so u can imagine the stupidity thats engraved into his very core

hua cheng vs wei wuxian --- pls why are u setting wei wuxian up like this... first of all hua cheng cant even fucking die so wwx already loses, secondly... snap chenqing in half and tf does wuxian have left 💀 i know wwx could control hua cheng technically bc he’s dead but hua cheng is also a ghost king and knowing him he’d be immune to that so hua cheng for sure

xie lian vs yun sheng --- ummm... the problem is yun sheng has like literal thousands of different skills under his belt and he’s OP as hell but also xie lian is a martial god like that mf ascended bc of his sword... idk i feel like they’d be evenly matched. in a virtual world yun sheng would win in the real world xie lian would beat his ass.

2) ✨ QUEEN OF TYPOGrAPHY ofc i have to include a typography set this is a very wwx-esque set from the colors to the font and i LOVE IT!!!!!!! for me, deciding fonts is such a difficult part in the process but the font here is absolutely perfect for the message u want to convey!!! also i love the simple but beautiful font effects like in the first gif...also the scenes u chose...iconic and fitting!!!!! and the coloring and sharpening amazing as usual....LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

3) ✨ I LOVE GUAN YUE!!!!!!!!! LOOKING AT HIS FACE MAKES ME SUPER HAPPY HE’S SUCH A SOFT BOY HERE OMFG i honestly couldn’t believe he’s one of the older unine members lol he’s so adorable...but omg ur coloring here accentuates guan yue’s soft lol i love the warm tones here and the sharpening his face is SO CLEAR i love it

4) ✨ this one’s also old but i love fan chengcheng so here i am LJSNLFDFN i love him how can someone be cool and baby at the same time??? thank u for great fcc content i love the coloring here and the added contrast + vibrance it makes his pretty face look even prettier hehe i love hIM

5) ✨ omg this scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love wangxian their love is like no other...but from a giffer pov this scene is SO MF HARD TO COLOR because it looks dimension-less and also the Usual Ugly CQL Blue Tint is so hard to get rid of but you colored is really nicely???? also i love how u get rid of the blue and accentuate the greens in the bg! nice!! and also sharpening is on point as usual, and i love the typography on the third gif! serif fonts are hard to implement in gifs but the text looks really pretty here!!!

tldr ur an ICONIC cql gifmaker but also have iconic ip and qcyn sets so ur blog in general is just amazing <3
