#wraith kuai liang au
Note
May I request some of your own Headcanons of Wriath!Kuai Liang and his adventures of living with the Shrai Ryu
indeed you may
Kuai Liang does not sleep as a wraith, like at all. He has a room in the Shirai Ryu compound but he doesn't use it. Whenever Hanzo sleeps, Kuai Liang tends to sit outside his door and stand guard until the pyromancer wakes up.
He also gets roped into assisting with training, as he's a skilled Kombatant and an excellent strategist. Hanzo has him help design challenges for the trainees and assist in demonstrations for various techniques.
Even though he doesn't eat, he does sneak into the kitchen quite often, mostly he tries to stay undetected but eventually the head cook catches him and drags him inside, telling him that if he's going to disturb her work he might as well help. It's the closest he's felt to his mother in years so he keeps going back.
One of the healers, who has an interest in poisons and specializes in treating them, ends up convincing him to let her test out his powers to see if she can't use them to assist her in making antidotes. The first time she succeeds he ends up wandering through the woods in a daze, not knowing how to process the possibility that his powers could do more than just kill.
He can't touch anyone skin to skin or else he will poison them, so despite how hot Japan can get, he's always covered from head to toe, with his eyes the only thing exposed.
Hanzo spends months trying to find a way to restore Kuai Liang's humanity, getting more and more obsessed as time goes on and he falls in love with Kuai Liang. Everyone who knows of his quest is, however, sworn to secrecy so that Kuai Liang doesn't find out bc he thinks he deserves to stay as he is.
Kuai Liang and Hanzo have a very long and elaborate courtship that doesn't come to a head until Hanzo succeeds in restoring Kuai Liang's humanity. They do have a fight about Hanzo doing that first, but then things fall into place.
Once his humanity is restored, Kuai Liang gets his ice powers back, but he keeps his poison powers too and no longer has deadly skin so he can be touched.
He and Hanzo get together when Hanzo touches his bare skin for the first time, proving that doing so is no longer dangerous, and Kuai Liang can't think of any other way to respond but kissing him.
That's all I can think of rn, but lemme know if you want more

@mikka-minns, MA GAL! I HAD IDEAS!! 💛💛
Ok, so Scorpion!Harumi has been living rent free in my mind soooooo, I made an (huge ass) AU!
This goes Spider Gwen style like we talked! So Harumi became Scorpion instead of Hanzo!
I dunno what's the process to become Scorpion, I imagine they evaluate your skills during missions, but also go through some trail by combat! And in our reality (Scorpion!Hanzo's reality) Hanzo and Harumi are toe to toe but he wins by an inch, while in this reality Harumi got the upper hand!
And this here's my take on her design as Scorpion:
Tumblr media
Now under the cut I go more in depth with her life and stuff, I didn't make it all that different from Hanzo (as you know, parallels and canon events🎸 and stuff) but there's a twist or two!
So Harumi becomes Scorpion, and due to his performance Hanzo is one of her most trusted warriors, till they have Satoshi and Hanzo becomes more of a stay-at-home dad so Harumi can go in longer and more challenging missions.
And one day she is hired do one of the most dangerous missions yet, steal a map from a Shaolin Temple!
She meets the man, Bi-Han, the Sub-Zero himself! He is, as expected, not impressed by the warrior before him, too short, too scrawny, he expected they would send something better to face him!
But as they engage in combat, oh boy! Perhaps he did underestimate this warrior after all! She was skilled and pulled a hell of a fight! But she is only human and he one of the last Cryomancers on Earth. Our Scorpion wouldn't stand a chance.
He defeated her and as he was ready to deliver the final blow! He hears a plea. From the Scorpion, and the penny drops!
A woman.
Sub-Zero is well known to be Ruthless and merciless. But not a monster. "Never women and children." That's his rule.
He beats her to unconsciousness, as he judges his right as winner of the match, and leaves her as she is, beaten and humiliated... but alive.
No one would hear of Sub-Zero's rare display of mercy, not even Harumi herself, as she woke up as a dead woman, in hell, reborn as a wraith.
No one knows who killed Harumi Hasashi, but for her, the killer was obvious, the last person seen with her. The ruthless, the merciless. The Sub-Zero.
He had killed her! And as she later learned, he lead an attack to her home, the Fire Gardens. Her entire clan, her beloved husband, and her sweet baby boy. All taken from her so brutally.
Sub-Zero would pay for this! And the only way she found to get to him was through Quan Chi.
A fair trade, she imagined, do one job for the evil man and get her revenge! It made sense for her. "It's what Hanzo would've done. It's what Hanzo would've wanted..."
She headed to the Mortal Kombat as a wraith, driven by her own anger and sorrow (and the whispers of a mad man) she killed Sub-Zero. He was unconscious when he died, a small mercy for another.
Vengeance was found, but not freedom. Harumi stayed by Quan Chi's side, where else would she be? Where else would she go? Who else would be out there for her?
But their "Alliance" was short lived as soon came the truth.
It was Quan Chi the man who slaughtered her family and clan, it was Quan Chi who killed Harumi after Sub-Zero had defeated her. It was Quan Chi who manipulated her grief her pain, her sorrow.
But it was she, and only she who had killed Bi-Han. She had killed an innocent man and sooner or later, she would pay the price.
It did not take long for someone to come to avenge Bi-Han. Two siblings. Twins. Kuai Liang and Lisa Liang. Came to avenge their fallen older brother.
By the time they got to Harumi she already knew the truth, she'd already burned Quan Chi till he was nothing but a pile of burnt flesh.
She had avenged her loved ones and killed a monster. Now it was only fair the siblings, now the Sub-Zero Siblings, had their shot at getting rid of their monster.
It was only fair. It was what Harumi deserved for allowing herself to be so foolish. It was what she deserved.
But it would have to wait. The world was in danger, and she was the only one who could stop it.
She pleaded the siblings for help, to help her do the right thing, "kill me if you must, but promise me you will keep the Kamidogu safe!"
Kuai Liang, though hesitant, was the first to aid the Scorpion. He hated her, that was true, but it was also true that he wouldn't risk the world for his own needs and desires. He was better than that, and he knew that, and even Scorpion knew that.
Lisa Liang however, was harder to convince, she was torn by her need for vengeance and the world's need of her. She did not trust the Scorpion one bit, and she thought her brother was a fool to even consider give this woman a chance.
But Kuai Liang was firm in his decision, he would protect the world, and Lisa, would protect her remaining family.
With the threat of the Kamidogu dealt with, Kuai Liang started his mission to find his missing friends and rebuild the Lin Kuei, he did not care much for vengeance anymore, he just wanted to preserve his family's legacy.
Lisa, went with him.
"My life is yours to take." Harumi told Lisa humbly before she left. The Cryomancer pondered, but ended refusing the offer. There was something about that Scorpion, something she saw during their partnership, that made Lisa hesitate.
Harumi insisted her life would be theirs, but in another way. A Shirai Ryu way.
She became their guardian and protector, she made herself a home, hidden within the Lin Kuei, until Kuai Liang, who had already made his peace with her and the role she had in his life, decided it was past the time to offer the Scorpion forgiveness. Even if she did not judge herself deserving of it.
Kuai invited her to stay officially and for as long as she desired. She would have a room of her own and role to play.
Never had the Sub-Zero Twins argued so intensely before. But in the end, Kuai had the last word, and Harumi stayed.
Getting Lisa to like her was a hardship, but as the years passed, the Cryomancer sister started to warm up to her. Even if she would never bring herself to admit.
Years later, Harumi was already part of the Sub-Zero family, it was hard, and having Bi-Han returning from the dead did not make things any easier, but in the end her efforts payed out.
One day, an unimaginable thing happened, Lord Raiden and his champions had found another reality. In this reality, Harumi had died, she had learned it was a normal occurrence within the multiverse.
But she had also learned whenever she died. He lived. Her Hanzo.
His visit to this world was quick, but it made quite an impact on her, as she made on him. They could both tell each other the death of their loved ones was not their fault. Never their fault.
They could tell each other how much they missed one another, how much their cared, how much they loved! They could tell each other everything they wanted but never had the opportunity to...
And by the end of the evening, Hanzo had one more thing to say: "I am in love."
Harumi knew from his expression that he was uncertain of what her reaction would be. He did not want her to feel betrayed, forgotten.
She assured him he was doing no such a thing, as a matter of fact, he was making her very happy!
Because she wanted him to be happy, she wanted him to move on, and find someone who loved him as much as she did! "He is such a sweet person, he should be able to share it with someone deserving!" She thought to herself.
And when her curiosity couldn't be contained, she asked the question: "who is this person that now owns your heart?"
And the answer, somehow did not surprise her: Kuai Liang.
No matter the reality, Kuai Liang always finds his way to one's heart, how could anyone possibly not love him?
And if someone is deserving of Hanzo's love, is Kuai Liang!
Hanzo had told her a lot about his world, it was not so different, though it had some significant changes, the one that shocked Harumi the most, was that there were only two Sub-Zero siblings, not three. Lisa did not exist in his world.
It stung her heart to imagine it, a world without Lisa's fierce heart, bold attitude and a kind heart she would only trust a few.
"A world without Lisa." Haruni pondered, "What a sad world it would be. What a painful thought."
Oh, I wonder what this thought could mean?
--------------------------------------
Congratulations! You made it through the end! :D
Here, have a (very) rough sketch:
Tumblr media
I used recent pics of Lisa's actress (Rachel Lee Harris) as inspo (specially for her hair) and gave her THAT SUIT™️, I also gave it thigh high boots cause @gophergal inspired me!💜
Also tagging @paradisechid800 cause your post started it all! 💛
Edit: More of this AU!

You and Bihan were childhood sweethearts. You and your family left China and Bihan lost his best friend, his one and only crush. Years passed, he got killed and came back as a wraith. Then Kuai saved him and everything (almost) went back to normal. You are now a promoter and got a call from someone named Kuai Liang. Accepted the offer and fly to China a day after. When you arrived to Temple, Grandmaster Kuai Liang welcomed you and showed you around. Bihan was having a hard time to catch up but he woke up pretty positive that day. His day even more brighten up when he saw you. He didn’t recognized you at first but then remembered you. You looked at him like “Why this mf is looking at me?” Then you recognized him too. A soft smile of Bihan turned into a charismatic laugh and you walked to each other with quick steps. Damn there’s a lot things to talk about
Music recommendation; Angeleyes by ABBA
This is a wonderful AU! Thank you for sharing it!

Kinktober Masterlist
Notes: Holy shit, here we fuckin’ go! Welcome to Kinktober 2022, aka: Kuai get’s dicked for 31 day’s straight. I started writing for this all the way back in July, so the 31 fics you’ll be seeing over this month are like 3 months in the making. TT_TT I haven’t actually finished writing them all yet I have 7 left to finish but I’m hoping I’ll get them done in time! This is without a doubt the biggest fic project I’ve ever worked on, I’ve put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this, so I hope it’ll be worth it :) We start off with one where even with the fire play is actually kinda soft. Title comes from “Mr Magpie” by The Electric Swing Circus.
Also this is my first time on this blog using the new content warnings thing! ^^;; Hopefully this will mean I have to block a lot less minors than I have had to in the past. I am prepared for this to mean my 18+ works won’t show up for everyone in the tags.
Kuai Liang had some of the most stunning wings Hanzo had ever seen.
He often found he could not take his eyes off them. They were just so fucking pretty. Beautiful shades of blue that got lighter the further down the wings they were, until eventually the tips of them were snow white. In the light, it was like they were iridescent, in certain angles he could see purples and greens.
Hanzo’s own wings, by comparison, were lacklustre.
Once upon a time, before his death and rebirth, his wings had been yellow with orange hints. Still not as beautiful as Kuai’s, but nice enough to look at. As a wraith, his wings had become nothing but fire, like he was some sort of fucked up phoenix. When he was revived fully, he found his wings had become ash grey and black, like his rage had burnt and damaged them.
He hated that he was jealous that Kuai had managed to keep the beauty of his wings.
Then again, if Kuai hadn’t, Hanzo wouldn’t get to see the beautiful image in front of him right now.
Kuai Liang was naked and bound tightly in red ropes. The intricate designs crisscrossing into knots, forcing him to bend forward slightly, his hands tied above his head and his calfs tied to his thighs, leaving him dangling helplessly in the air. But the cherry on top of this already wonderful cake, was the red ropes tied to Kuai’s wings, pulling them apart and keeping them nice and spread, so Hanzo could just stand and admire them without any movement or flapping.
Hanzo reached a hand forward, just letting his fingers brush against the blue. The wings trembled, but if it was from being touched or the strain of being pulled apart, Hanzo wasn’t sure. He let himself pet a little harder, loving how soft they were. Kuai moaned, and Hanzo chuckled at how needy he sounded.
“Do you like having your wings touched?” Hanzo asked, moving his hands to the top of Kuai’s wings, and tracing along the bones and earning another needy groan. “Let’s see.” One hand went back to where it had begun so to repeat the motion, while the other reached down between Kuai’s legs. He found Kuai’s cock, already getting hard from something so simple. “Hm, getting hard from someone petting your wings? You really are shameless, aren’t you, Sub Zero?”
Kuai didn’t reply, even as Hanzo released him. He put his hands on Kuai’s hips, before leaning forward to kiss between his shoulder blades. Flames began to take alight in his hands, gently licking at Kuai’s skin, not enough to harm, but enough to leave nice red imprints of his hands. No matter what, he needed to keep the fire away from Kuai’s wings. He couldn’t risk burning them.
“Pretty boy,” Hanzo whispered, letting go and watching the fire turn to just smoke. “Such a pretty bird.” Hanzo trailed his hands along Kuai’s spine, before allowing himself to feel those feathers again. Kuai made another whine. “A pretty boy who likes being told how pretty he is.”
It was amazing that Kuai always seemed unused to being told how beautiful he was. How the hell the world had resisted that face and those wings, he would never know.
“My pretty bird,” He asserted as he continued to caress those wings. “Mine and only mine.” He looped his arms around to Kuai’s front, taking a handful of both of Kuai’s pecs. The summoned fire licked Kuai’s skin again, earning a sizzle from the extreme difference in temperature. “I need everyone to know this bird is mine.”
“Yours,” Kuai quietly agreed, his hands clenching as he tried to twist in his bonds. “Always yours.”
“Good boy,” Hanzo praised, letting go, knowing there would be those wonderful marks left there when he inspected them later. “I think my pretty bird deserves a reward.”
Hanzo brought his hands down to Kuai’s ass, digging his fingers into the flesh. Aside from Kuai’s wings, this was definitely his favourite part of Kuai’s body. There was just so much to hold onto, to kneed and play with. He pushed apart the cheeks, staring almost hungrily at Kuai’s hole, already nice and wet, prepared for him in advance.
Hanzo pushed his cock against it, slowly advancing and feeling a rush from both how tight it was and the way Kuai’s back arched with it. He found himself bottoming out fairly quickly.
“Hanzo,” Kuai breathed out, trying to flap his wings but the ropes stopping him.
“Just a little longer,” Hanzo promised, “and then you can stretch your wings.” He bent forward to kiss the body parts in question, the action causing Kuai to gasp. “I would never want to ground my pretty bird.”
His hands once more gripped Kuai’s hips tightly, before he gently pulled out until only the tip of his dick was inside, and then tenderly pushing back in. Kuai groaned, unable to move like he wanted to, he had to clench and unclench his fist instead. Hanzo continued to move, slow and steady, letting Kuai feel every inch of his cock inside him.
He let go of Kuai’s hips, moving instead to the base of his wings, where they connected with his back. He rubbed circles at the sensitive area, causing Kuai to make a songlike whine. He kept his thrusts slow, drawing it out as he made sure to play with Kuai’s wings like they were his cock.
“Hanzo please,” Kuai begged, and Hanzo could feel him tighten around his cock. “N-Not fair.”
“You should know by now I don’t play fair in the bedroom.” Fairness and honour was reserved for the battlefield. Here in the privacy of his room, he could fight as dirty as he wanted to. His cock pushed against Kuai’s prostate, causing the man to shake again. “You revealed your weakness, do you really expect me not to use it to my advantage?”
“You’re mean,” Kuai said quietly, and Hanzo laughed. Even though he couldn’t see Kuai’s face, in his mind the image of Kuai’s pout was crystal clear.
“You think so?” Hanzo hummed, pushing his thumb against the skin around Kuai’s wings. “Then why don’t I show you how mean I can be?” He said with a rumble in his voice. Kuai turned to look over his shoulder. “You are going to cum for me, without me touching your cock. Let’s see how long it takes you to finish just from me fucking your ass and caressing your wings.”
The way Kuai’s eyes widened almost had Hanzo laughing again. It was so cute. Before Kuai could say anything in protest, Hanzo was thrusting his hips again, rocking into a brutal pace. Kuai yelped but did nothing to stop it. Despite how rough he was being, he kept his touch on Kuai’s wings light, teasing and soft. He could tell the mixed signals were working, Kuai bowing his head and gripping onto the rope holding his hands up.
Hanzo could feel his hellfire ignite, but not in his hands, thankfully no where near Kuai’s pristine wings. Instead he could feel his own wings begin to light up, like they had done when he was a hellspawn.
Kuai tightened around him and made a loud cry, Hanzo had been in this position enough times to know the telltale signs of Kuai’s orgasm. Hanzo let go of the wings, returning his hands to Kuai’s hips. He used his new grip to swing Kuai’s body in time to meet his thrusts. He could hear the flames that consumed his wings crackle, fueled by the energy he felt in that moment.
“H-Hanzo,” Kuai called out, as he once more clamped down around Hanzo’s cock.
“Cumming twice in as many minutes,” Hanzo growled, feeling proud that he could bring the other man to the peak like this. “A new record.”
Hanzo pushed himself in as far as he could, feeling the flames completely engulf him as he came. It was like the world blacked out for an entire minute, and then the next thing he knew he was pulling out of Kuai, watching as his cum slowly dripped out of his slightly gaping hole. The room smelt of cinders, but thankfully, Kuai didn’t appear to have been hurt in his momentary lapse of control.
He didn’t wait to contemplate what happened, instead reaching to undo the ropes and release Kuai. The other man stumbled to the floor, but Hanzo caught him before he could fall. He turned Kuai to face him, watching as he flapped his wings.
“Are you alright? Did I hurt you?” Hanzo asked, just because Kuai didn’t look hurt physically, it didn’t mean that was the case.
“I’m fine,” Kuai assured him, reaching to touch Hanzo’s cheek. “That was intense.”
“It was,” Hanzo agreed, placing his hand atop Kuai’s to keep it there for a while. “Do you need anything?”
Kuai’s eyes closed as he purred, “call me a pretty bird again?”
“My pretty bird,” Hanzo said as he lent in to kiss Kuai’s forehead, before reaching to lift Kuai up into his arms. He needed to get Kuai cleaned up, and like this he could admire the burn marks on Kuai’s chest. “The prettiest bird I know.” Kuai giggled and nuzzled into Hanzo’s neck. “Let’s get you cleaned up.”
“Hm, and here was me thinking having your cum leaking out of me just made me prettier,” Kuai teased as Hanzo set off in the direction of the bathroom.
“Oh, well that is a given.” As he entered the bathroom he used his foot to close the door behind him. “Although not as pretty as when you have my cum on your face.”
“Naturally,” Kuai said with a sly smile. Kuai’s eyes drifted to Hanzo’s back. “So... What happened with your wings?”
”I’m not sure,” Hanzo admitted. “Maybe they aren’t as dead as I thought they were.”
Kuai gave a thoughtful hum, reaching a hand back to brush his fingers against Hanzo’s feathers.
“Well, I love your wings, no matter what form they take,” Kuai admitted, almost in a dreamy sigh.
Hanzo paused at that, before asking “you do?”
”Of course.” Kuai rested his head against Hanzo’s shoulder. “They’re beautiful, in the black I often see a flash of yellow and orange. And they’re strong.” Kuai lifted an eyebrow. “And large.”
”You size queen,” Hanzo huffed causing Kuai to giggle as Hanzo set him down.
But the way Kuai looked at his wings. It was the same way Hanzo looked at Kuai’s. Maybe they weren’t as lacklustre as he believed.

SHIPS THAT ARE 'CANON' IN MY AU INCLUDING EXES (WHY IM USING THEM)
Basically the ships that I use for this AU. If you don't like any of these ships, thats completely fine, but NO ship wars! You respect my ships, I'll respect yours! Now on with the list!
The only actual Canon ship
CageBlade: This is the only Canon ship that I like in the series. I love their dynamic and how they get back together at the end because they realized how much they love each other. Their story's the same as the game in this AU, with some of the Legands movies sprinkled in!
The ships that I use for my AU
FireDance: Ah, my OTP! This ship consists of my oc Varian and our lovable wraith, Hanzo! Funnily enough, Varian was originally going to be with Bi-Han before he died and then ultimately end up with Kotal. But after fully finishing her backstory, I decided that she was better suited for Hanzo. I feel like they balance each other out very well in every aspect. Sigh, they just make me so happy! I also just want Hanzo to be happy since NRS is apparently allergic to that.
LiuLao: OK BEFORE WE GO ANY FURTHER I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR- Liu Kang and Kung Lao are NOT related! Tobias HIMSELF had to step in and make it clear that it was an error on the movie's part! They never have been and never will be blood related! OK, on with the ship: I FRICKIN LOVE THESE TWO! They were my first ever mk ship! I just love their dynamic and how their meant to be foils to each other! I'm so weak for the childhood friends trope. Everything about them is *chefs kiss*. Also in my AU, they don't die stupid deaths and become evil for the sake of shock value. They instead stay alive and raise Jin together so he can be happy, healthy, and ACCEPTED!
Jatana: Man, am I predictable or what? XD I ship these two for a lot of the same reasons I ship LiuLao. They have such amazing chemistry with each other, I love every scene the have together. THE WAY JADE IS SO PROTECTIVE OF KITANA IS JUST SO IMMACULATE! I'm weak for lesbian warriors protecting their lesbian princesses. It's the good food right there. They die but get resurrected and rule Outworld together as Queens.
ArticGem: So this ship is between Kuai Liang and an oc that I haven't introduced yet: Ruby. I came up with this ship because while I do ship SubScorp, I hc both Kuai and Hanzo as bi and I wanted to try shipping Kuai with a woman for once. Ruby was an already made oc (with full backstory and design) that I was gonna have be on her own, but I wanted her to be my guinea pig for my shipping experiment. It wasn't meant to be permanent but here we are. I'll explain their relationship more when I have Ruby's outline done.
StryBal: I absolutely love the idea of a New York City cop dating a Black Dragon member. Know what I love more? Stryker being a backstabbing bitch and being a secret BD member and selling all of the NYPD's secrets. Basically, these two are the bastard power couple that no one expects, and that no one can really trust (except for each other).
Exes!
RatTheif: That's right. In this AU, Erron and Kano dated. The relationship was mostly sexual, with Erron really only being interested because of the special treatment he got. Kano was only interested in the sex and adrenaline rushes. When Erron said he was done, Kano didn't believe him. While he was asleep, Erron took all of his shit and sold it before returning to Outworld. Kanos still pissed about it. I'm literally only using this ship for shits and giggles for the backstory.
Rain X Mileena: They both used each other with the plan of betraying the other. Both had the gall to be shocked when it eventually happened. I like the idea of two people using each other for the same reasons. It makes a fun read for me personally.
SubSmoke: They tried it because they thought that they loved each other romantically. While it was true on Kuai's end, Tomas was AroAce with both romance and sex repulsion. He apologized to Kuai, genuinely feeling horrible for starting something serious like this only to end it abruptly. Kuai held no grudge against him, supporting him fully and not tolerating any hate thrown Tomas' way. I like these two together as friends, I've always had the AroAce hc for Smoke, but I imagine him trying something out before ultimately realizing his Sexuality. And Kuai being nothing but supportive of his BFF! (P.S. I know that AroAce people can still find love/have sex, but I personally hc Smoke as being repulsed by those things for himself! I hope you understand!)

Is Kuai Liang’s relationship with Bi Han better when as a revenant or does Noob still treat him badly?
Tumblr media
I mean... it’s not as bad as lets say, living Kuai interacting with Noob. But it’s not... good. At least not an ideal brother relationship. While Noob Saibot doesn’t have any intentions on harming Revenant Kuai, because they’re both on the same side (for the time being) now and Kuai is already dead. He doesn’t really... treat Revenant Kuai as a person? Noob treats Kuai as a pawn and not much more. Just another dead soldier in his eyes. Especially considering when you remember that in MK9, Noob Saibot was apparently aware of Kuai’s cyberization, yet doesn’t seemingly say anything to Kuai as a cyber (not that we see of) until Cyber Sub-Zero’s slaving protocols are disabled. Most likely meant Noob didn’t care that Kuai was cyberized, and only saw him as a tool of Shao Kahn’s -- so it’s a very similar circumstance with Noob and Revenant Kuai.
I imagine Noob probably sees himself above Kuai too, in their undead status that is. Noob as a wraith, and Kuai as a Revenant. It was implied/shown in Kuai’s tower ending that Bi-Han is alike Scorpion, in that sense -- he willingly chose to be Noob Saibot and has his own free will. (Although there’s also some intros in MK11, where Hanzo comments that Bi-Han was always vile, Quan Chi’s magic only made him viler. But this could be a case of power going over his head than actual brainwashing. Or it could be similar to Skarlet’s case, where dark magic just corrupts his mind regardless of choice.) while Kuai was literally just meant to be a pawn, brainwashed into it. Although in my MK11 AU, Revennat Kuai actually has far more self control and free will -- because he’s able to fight the dark magic, especially with the absence of Quan Chi. However, he still greatly struggles with it, it’s a constant battle with himself within. So Bi-Han does see himself above Kuai as he (believed) himself to be more than just a mere pawn, and he has been granted more power than when he was living (unlike Revenant Kuai, who can still only control ice and has no dark powers). So what I’m saying is that Noob Saibot probably at times, reminds Revenant Kuai who is the superior out of them two, and that Kuai will always be a “novice” or a “pawn”.
Obviously, this answer is referring to MK11 AU, rather than canon Revenant Kuai from MKX. But that’s due to the fact that Noob Saibot was not around during the events of the Netherrealm War or MKX in general, so my headcanons for Noob Saibot and Revenant Kuai’s relationship has to be referring to MK11 only, lol! Revenant Kuai, on the other hand... still gravitates towards Bi-Han, even though he knows he shouldn’t. This is because of Kuai’s previous idolization of Bi-Han, and also the dark magic. Because Noob Saibot is a creation of Quan Chi, perhaps one of Quan Chi’s greatest creations. Therefore, the dark magic feels more attracted to another of Quan Chi’s creations, and of course wanting to ally with that. So it amplifies Kuai’s already previous admiration. Because as I’ve stated, Revenant Kuai can battle off the dark magic to an extent due to time disruption, however... it’s something he really struggles with. And sometimes the inner Kuai wins, while sometimes the dark magic wins -- if that makes sense! So while he’s on Kronika’s side, Noob Saibot is definitely one of the people he tries to hang around the most, even though Noob regards him like he’s nothing, or even belittles him.

“You are Grandmaster’s dead brother, right? Please, come back to Lin Kuei and knock some sense into your brother’s head! ... Bi-Han?! DON’T RUN AWAY, YOU BASTARD!”
An MK11 AU in which Frost is still Kuai Liang’s protege but her feelings toward Hanzo did not change at all over the years. So of course the moment she sees Noob, Frost is all about bringing him back to Lin Kuei Temple so he could knock some sense into younger brother’s head, much to Kuai Liang’s disappointment  and Bi-Han’s disinterest.
Unsurprisingly, Noob is like ‘Nope’ and get the hell away from the eager kid and/or the whole mess. And most likely all the story-mode he is just disappearing at the sight of  not giving up Frost, because really, he wants to do his evil stuff in peace... but Frost is hella stubborn cryomancer. Just like Kuai Liang. No rest for evil Wraith.

Jubei Lives AU Part 2/2: MKX
Remember this AU I made a awhile back? I finally manage to make part 2 of this. We’re diving into Mortal Kombat X territory. (Also, this AU will not extend to Mortal Kombat 11).
Here’s Part 1 for a refresher. This is a longer than the last one.
Enjoy:)
****
Several months passed since Jubei and Hanzo reunited. Shortly before the events Mortal Kombat X, Jubei returned to Special Forces, keeping contact with his father.
The first 7 chapters play out pretty much the same as it did in the game, with minor differences.
Jubei is assigned to help at the camp where refugees from Outworld’s civil war are staying. Cassie & her team return from their failed training exercise at the Lin Kuei grounds. Jubei greets them as Kenshi explains the situation. They all hear Li Mei’s story where she revealed that Shinnok’s amulet somehow is in Mileena’s possession.
Before Cassie’s team leave for Outworld, she and Jubei talk alone, since they were close by this point. Cassie expresses her doubts on leading her team but Jubei assures her that she more than capable and believes in her. They both gave a farewell, wishing each other luck.
Cassie’s team trip to OutWorld plays just the same as it did in-game. Jubei helps out with the OutWorld refugees. Sonya’s fight with Kano plays out the same.
Cassie’s team later helps Kotal and his crew take down Mileena. After she's executed, Kotal imprisons the team but they escape.
Chapter 8 is where things start to play out differently.
Word gets out about Quan Chi and his revenants lurking in the NetherRealm. Sonya assembles a team to ambush him, including recruiting Jax. Jubei volunteers to go on the mission. Sonya-reluctantly-lets him go after some persistence.
The team heads to the NetherRealm to meet up with Sareena to prep the ambush. Jubei is alone with his thoughts. Stories that his father told was the only thing crossing his mind. This is the place where Hanzo was reborn as a wraith, and soon he may come face-to-face with the person responsible for Hanzo's pain.
Kenshi and Jax took notice of Jubei’s distress as they go over to check on him. Jax, knowing Jubei’s relation to Hanzo, offers him a chance to turn back. Jubei insists them that he’s fine, that he feels unsure what to do if he comes directly across Quan Chi. The two men assure him that whatever happens, they'll do everything to bring in Quan Chi.
Cassie’s team calls to reveals D'Vorah's betrayal and has the amulet. The ambush and Jax's fight with revenant Kung Lao, Sindel, and Kitana play out the same. The Revenants fled, but Liu Kang and Quan Chi slipped passed SF. Jax decides to go after the pair, despite Sareena & Kenshi's warnings. Jubei offers to go with Jax as his backup, which the man agrees.
Quan Chi and Liu Kang made it to the fortress where they await D’Vorah when Jax arrives. He and Liu Kang have their fight. As Jax emerges as the victor, Jubei sneaks behinds Quan Chi.  Just looking at the sorcerer was enough to send chills down his spine. Jubei didn’t show his fear, only giving Quan Chi an angry look until Jax knocks him out.
SF apprehend Quan Chi. While helping with the escort, Jubei hears that Hanzo is on the base. Throughout the events, Jubei had forgotten to keep contact with his father, leaving Hanzo worried. When he did manage to make contact with SF, they informed him that Jubei was in the NetherRealm. Of course, Hanzo was not happy to hear that, so he went to the base in hopes to intervene, but was too late. All he can do was wait.
A heated conversation follows between father & son. Hanzo reprimands Jubei for going on a revenge quest. Jubei rebuffs that saying that he didn’t do it for revenge, that he did it for Hanzo.
A silence follows before Johnny and Kenshi decided to take the two apart before things could get more heated. Johnny leads Jubei away while Kenshi does the same to Hanzo. Unbeknownst to them, Quan Chi manages to overhear the conversation.
Kenshi takes Hanzo away to a private space.  Hanzo reveals his reasons. Since reuniting with his son, Hanzo grew a small fear of Quan Chi killing him, or that Jubei takes revenge and gets killed in the process. Kenshi tries to ease Hanzo’s worries by explaining that Jubei handled himself well on the mission. Kenshi suggests that should apologize to Jubei, to which Hanzo agrees but not before paying a visit to Quan Chi.
After getting permission from Sonya, and apologizing to her for his behavior, Hanzo speaks to the sorcerer alone. Quan Chi believes Hanzo came to gloat. Hanzo states that the sorcerer no longers has any control over him anymore, and he'll soon answer for his crimes. Before he leaves, Quan Chi brings up the conversation that Hanzo had with Jubei. Hanzo claims that Jubei was only a mere soldier, not wanting to reveal the truth. But Quan Chi presses on saying that the conversation Hanzo had more weight to have with a ‘mere soldier’. He then brings up that back in the fortress Jubei gave an angry look, the type he had only seen on Hanzo. The only way that possible is that Jubei is Hanzo’s son, specifically the one he believed died in the Shirai Ryu massacre all those years ago.
Hanzo gave him no words, though the expression of panic he tried to suppress was enough confirmation for the sorcerer to give an evil chuckle. He comments that Jubei would probably be a better servant than Hanzo. That resulted in Hanzo punching his face. Were it been months ago, Hanzo would’ve killed him on the spot, not caring about the consequences. Having Jubei back in his life allowed him to think more clearly. Before leaving the cell, Hanzo tells Quan Chi that he's only still alive because Raiden needs him to free the revenants. But when the time comes, he will end the sorcerer’s life.
Hanzo soon found Jubei alone. Hanzo apologizes for he acted. Jubei also apologizes for leaving Hanzo out of the loop. The reason he joined on the mission was that he wanted to give Hanzo peace by help capturing Quan Chi him. Hanzo states that no one is safe as long the sorcerer is around. Jubei reaffirms what he told his father months ago that nothing will come in between them.
Alarms suddenly blare near Quan Chi's cell. They rush over to see Johnny, Sonya, Kenshi, and SF members fighting off D’Vorah, the Revenants, and Quan Chi who is now free. Hanzo goes to deal with him while Jubei goes to help the others. Quan Chi reveals that he allowed himself to be captured so he could free Shinnok within EarthRealm. They fight each other with Hanzo emerging as the victor and demands Quan Chi to call off his attack. However, in the midst of the battle, D’Vorah takes Jubei hostage and threatens to kill him unless Quan Chi is let go. Johnny tries to save him but is knocked out by one of the Revenants.
Reluctantly, despite Jubei’s protests, Quan Chi is released. He and his followers leave for Raiden’s Sky Temple, taking Jubei & Johnny as hostages, threating to kill them if they're pursued.
Cassie’s team return shortly to see the destruction left behind. They learned what happened and it's up to them to save EarthRealm. Hanzo tries to go with them, despite the injuries he received from the brawl, muttering that he couldn’t lose his son again. Cassie and Takeda convince him to stay put, promising that they'll save Jubei.
Quan Chi’s group ambushes Raiden at the temple. The sorcerer taunts the Thunder God before heading into the Jinsei chamber in tow of D’Vorah and Johnny, leaving Raiden with the revenants, and Jubei. The revenants taunt Raiden before he fights back before he is overwhelmed. Jubei manages to free himself from his binds and goes to help The Thunder God fight them before telling Raiden to deal with Quan Chi.
Although reluctant to leave him, Raiden goes into the Jinsei chamber but he arrives too late. Shinnok has been freed from the amulet and imprisons Raiden. Before he infects the Jinsei, Shinnok proclaims that 'such a beautiful moment can't be rushed.' He then proceeds to torture Johnny and Raiden.
Chapter 11 happens as normal, except Cassie’s team plane is grounded due to malfunctions (since Shinnok hasn’t infected the Jinsei at this point). They are ambushed by Kotal Kahn’s forces and fight them off until Kuai Liang and the Lin Kuei arrives, having been alert by SF.
The team arrives at the temple to see the revenants guarding the entrance, and Jubei once again in their custody. When notices them, he attempts to distract the revenants by mocking them. Liu Kang sends Kung Lao and Smoke away while he, Kitana, and Sindel start beat Jubei. Cassie’s team took that moment the strike and take out the 3 revenants. Cassie & Jin tied them up, whilst Takeda & Jacqui free Jubei.
They learn from him that Shinnok is freed and in the Jinsei chamber. Cassie, Kung Jin, and Jubei rush in there, while Takeda & Jacqui stays out to deal with Kung Lao and Smoke.
The trio arrives to see Shinnok torturing Johnny. This prompt Cassie’s powers to awaken. A standoff occurs between Cassie’s and Shinnok’s group before a fight occurs. Cassie vs Shinnok, Kung Jin vs D’Vorah, and Jubei vs Quan Chi.
Cassie manages to defeat the former elder god thanks to her magic. Jin had trouble with D’Vorah but manage to take her down and goes to free Raiden.
Jubei has difficulty fighting the sorcerer due to his injuries. After he knocked on the ground, Quan Chi tells him that he plans to make him a revenant and to show him to Hanzo. He'll even make them fight to the death. Resulting in either Hanzo killing Jubei and living with the guilt, or Jubei killing Hanzo and he becomes a revenant.
Unknown to him, Jubei had a kunai of his own, gifted by his father, hidden. That statement was enough for him to pull it out, strike Quan Chi in the shoulder.
“GET OVER HERE, BITCH!” Echoed the chamber before Jubei pulls Quan Chi over and proceeds to beat the everloving shit out of him, proclaiming that he'll never harm his family ever again. In his final punches, he had one for himself, the Shirai Ryu, his mother, and his father for the knockout punch.
Once all three villains are now defeated, Jubei collapses from the physical and mental exhaustion. Cassie and Jin manage to catch him before he struck the ground. Before passing out, he asks them if they save the realm which Cassie replied with yes and that the Jinsei is left unscathed. Sonya and SF arrive soon after.
Jubei wakes up in the SF recovery room to his father on his side. Hanzo explained that Shinnok, D’Vorah, and Quan Chi are apprehended and that the revenants are in SF’s custody as well. He then tells his son that he is proud of his efforts to save the realm and defeating Quan Chi. They both say they love each other.
Cassie's team soon visit Jubei's to check on him. They offer him a spot on their team. Jubei asks Hanzo's opinion to which he states that he'll support whatever decision he makes. Jubei accepts the offer.
A lot happens during the next few weeks. Raiden takes Shinnok to the Elder Gods where he’ll be imprisoned under their close watch. Kotal Kahn makes peace with EarthRealm. Once the remaining Revenants are rounded up and restored, Quan Chi is given a summary execution carried out by Hanzo himself.
And all is well from there. Raiden doesn’t go dark. Quan Chi is out of the picture. The Revenants are alive. Hanzo and Jubei’s bond is stronger than ever. And more importantly, there's no Kronika. Everyone pretty much gets a happy ending.
The End.

Wraith Kuai Liang Au Headcanons again(some fluff and then angst):
* Kuai Liang and Hanzo have taken up therapy painting together, a way for Kuai Liang to feel like he has more semblance of control over himslef and doesn’t need to be ordered on the whim of others like his existence as a wraith, while it’s a way for Hanzo to work out his complex and more heightening emotional issues.
* Sarena lives with the Lin Kuei, Kuai Liang has hidden here from Raiden and the special forces after saving her as he remembers her from his day as a wraith and her connection to her brother, she was one the one that showed empathy to him as a wraith. She’s Frost’s and Takeda’s wine aunt basically.
* As a wraith appearance wise Quan Chi ensured that Kuai Liang much like Bi-Zhan was unregonizle as possible as a Wraith
* He no longer wore any blue, the only sign of it was the hints of silver and blue blood from the visible veins on his skin reminiscent to the liquid that ran through his cybernetic body.
* He resembled a sickly and rotting dragonic man, bone like claws and long fangs dripping with posion, twisted horns that were chipped and broken. His clothing was a twisted version of his Lin Kuei uniform stained with so much blood it no longer contained bits of blue, with misc pieces of his cyber body making up as armour. The scars from when he was torn apart when becoming a cyborg are prominent.
* His eyes were a bit less drastic change, no longer blue, brown, or even purely white like Scorpion but a red that matched Quan Chi’s own.
* He works closely with his clan’s medics having gained the trust to let them use his poison abilities for antidotes and medicine
* His poison abilities allow him to make different types of poison and venom, from snake venom to acidic posion similar to reptile.
* Post being restored, his years as a wraith have still affected him in strange ways, he gets chronic migraines and head pain from both his horns being unnatural, but also his mind having been through so much trauma and having his head fucked with so much. But as well he find himself becoming more tolerant of heat.
* Hanzo and Kuai Liang are technically married, they had a small ceremony and was not known to many besides close friends like Kenshi, Johnny, and Jax( who were told by the kombat kids)
* Kuai Liang’s hair has gotten long and often the children of the clan’s are allowed to style it because he can’t say no to them. His style is eccentric already because he wears a lot of jewelry made by them anyway.
* Had the autopsy scars from the cyber Lin Kuei even after being restored, he covers them up as much as possible, his headband covers the one on his head. He hates having it touched.
* Raiden and Kuai Liang’s relationship is far more aggressive as well, Raiden’s behavior is far worse in this Au, far more unhinged that even those close to him like his brother have distanced themselves. Hell a lot of the newer Lin Kuei recruits are from the Wu Shi Academy have deflecting like Kung Jin who joined the Lin Kuei after Takeda said Kuai Liang would be willing to help him.
* Could not speak as a wraith and it fucked up his vocal cords even when he was away from Quan Chi’s control so he often spoke in short sentences, it takes a good long recovery for it to heal properly. In the same vein during moments of extreme anger or bitterness there is a subtle distorted hiss in his voice much like when he was a wraith.
* Ice skates frequently with frost, ended up teaching Takeda and even does more advanced dance moves found in ice skating with Hanzo, Hanzo is suffering
Some Headcanons with the events of Mk11 in mind:
* Both Noob Saibot, young Bi-Han, young smoke, cyber Subzero make their appearance
* Almost none of them recognize Kuai Liang when they meet him without his mask, like in an uncanny valley way, he’s far older and his appearance changed drastically due to his years as a wraith.
* Bi-Han was more or less manipulated into thinking it was an version of himself that took a darker path, that he needed to kill because this version killed Kuai Liang( idea from a video on YouTube bascially with young Bi-Han who was unaware of anything that happened post his own death)
* Cyber Subzero is one of the many minions of Kronika who is under control of Sektor. Can’t kill him due to being the past version of Kuai Liang, without him existing Kuai Liang would fade away.
* Smoke and Cyrax say a similar phrase to Kuai Liang like in mk11, commenting on how old Kuai Liang is after learning it’s him.
* Noob Saibot is more less instead of fighting his brother wants him to rejoin his side in death as his second in command because he knows Kuai Liang was turned into a wraith and wants his brother to regain that power again.
eeeeeeeeeeeeee I've missed this au!
Kuai Liang is actually a really good artist, having been taught by his father and sister before they died. As much as the therapy painting helps him heal from being a wraith, it also helps him process his grief over their deaths and lets him feel close to them
Sareena and Kuai Liang don't have much in common, but they each try their best to take care of the other to honor Bi-Han's memory
After being freed from Quan Chi's control, Kuai Liang starts to regain his original appearance very slowly, though not fully until he's made human again. This leaves him with a monster form that he can switch into at will where his poison powers are at their strongest.
He cannot stand the sight of the colour red now, due to the blood that had dyed his armor as a wraith
his eyes stay red after being restored and he hates it
There's a type of tea that helps with the chronic pain, though it doesn't fix it, that can only be gathered in outworld
Kuai Liang and Hanzo got married in secret with the kombat kids not finding out for months afterwards, they wanted it to be something that was just theirs
Kuai Liang ends up getting piercings once the kids start making him earrings. he looks in the mirror once and for a moment thinks he's looking at his mother (she had long hair and a lot of piercings too) and Hanzo finds him crying a little bit later
Kuai Liang and Kung Jin actually become quite close, bonding over their experiences in Outworld. Cassie ends up joining the Lin Kuei too in order to be with Frost, while Jacqui goes to the Shirai Ryu to marry Takeda before Raiden can stop her
There are days when Kuai Liang struggles to speak even now, leading to him and Hanzo learning sign language
Frost didn't know how to skate until Kuai Liang taught her, claiming that it was necessary for all cryomancers to know how to move on ice (he's just looking for an excuse to bond
Mk11
Kuai Liang is desperate to reconnect with Smoke, Cyrax, and Bi-Han (And Hydro who also comes back) and is deeply hurt by Bi-Han trying to kill him (side note, someone please give me the link to that youtube video
They can't kill cyber subzero, but they can disable him, so Hanzo does that to prevent Kuai Liang from having to see it, knowing it will cause more nightmares
Bi-Han and Kuai Liang's reunion is full of tears and shouting bc neither can comprehend why the other has chosen the side they have

I saw your AU post about Liu Kang & Kung Lao switching places with the Sub Zero Brothers. It got me this idea: What if Kuai Liang & Bi Han were part of the Shira Ryu and Hanzo was Lin Kuei.
Hi there!
I think we’d find a similar situation occuring again here as with the Shaolin. From what we know of the Shirai Ryu, their clan was a lot more healthy to grow up in than the Lin Kuei. The original Shirai Ryu seems to have been fairly well integrated with the local community, with members having families and treating their obligations to the clan’s ninja school much like a job. They could go there, train, fulfill missions and other obligations and then come home to their families, and possibly even hold down other household labour etc.
A big part of what makes the Lin Kuei so messed up in my head is the kidnapping- so no member ever chose to belong, the isolation- we know that the original Lin Kuei lived in a remote moutain temple, the severity of their way of life- it seems that supreme loyalty to the Grandmaster was the only attachment encouraged in the Lin Kuei, with all emotion, and thus especially romantic, but even familial and brotherly relationships being banned or discouraged.
The man we think of as Hanzo Hasashi would not have been remotely similar to the man we know today. With no wife or child, all the vengeance that drives Scorpion, and indeed caused his death, would never have have happened. All the passionate things in Hanzo would have been driven out of him by a harsh Lin Kuei upbringing. He likely would have become cold, lonely, and not in the best mental health seeing as he seems to form strong attachments to those around him, and this would have been beaten out of him. He may never have become a wraith, never acquired hellfire abilities, and without the driving passion behind him, may not ever have become the remarkable warrior he became under the Shirai Ryu.
The Sub-Zero brothers by contrast could have flourished. They could have built a more stable, caring, family dynamic, and if their emotions had been nurtured rather than crushed, people like Bi-Han may have become very different people. He may still have relished in the opportunity to complete missions successfully, but this might not have been tied to enjoying causing pain and death. It’s possible that, given the opportunity not to become a killer, Kuai Liang may never have chosen this path for himself. He might have chosen a quieter way of life, or if he had still joined the Shirai Ryu, may have chosen to focus on teaching rather than assassination missions. It is possible Bi-Han may never have become Noob Saibot, although I think that ambition and perfectionism may still have meant he pushed himself to become the greatest assassin of this clan too, and consequently his actions may still have led him down a darker path. He certainly would be a more stable person however, and its possible that with the Shirai Ryu he could have found a healthier balance between work and living a normal life.
Thanks for the ask :)

Wraith Kuai Liang Au headacanons
* His hair is longer than it is in canon in MK11, mostly for the fact he didn’t cut it post being restored to life and was focusing on other things like remaking the Lin Kuei, spending some of day and nights with Hanzo, and teaching Frost.
* Sometimes as a Wraith he spasmed as if he was still a cyborg suffering from a glitch in his system, it doemst happen as much after being restored to life, but he still does it when he is asleep occasionally.
* His outfits show more skin now post wraith, as he no longer has the poisonous skin, so he has got to the point where doesn’t wear outfits while as many layers now.
* Continuities to Knit and Crochet in his free time, he ends up teaching some of his students as well as Frost and Takeda, he even made Frost’s first stuffed animal that was made to look like a Ice Type Pokemom she liked.
* He is able to freeze the posion he has, being able to turn into frozen darts that when they hit someone also poison them. Or make ice weapons that have the same effects.
Nsfw Ones but
* Kuai Liang took awhile to be comfortable with being able to touch Hanzo normally and not through water as they did before . It was surreal to him when he touched Hanzo for the first time without gloves on. He is also far more sensitive to touch as well.
* Kuai Liang is far more dominant and prefers to be on too far more often, it took awhile to even consider letting Hanzo take care of him or even be on the bottom.
* Has far shaper canines as well and when he marks Hanzo it draws blood, makes it look Hanzo was attacked by a vampire.
yeeeeeee yes yes love all of these
He has never had hair this long, so Hanzo had to teach him to take care of it. Hanzo braided it for him once, but when Kuai Liang looked in the mirror he thought it was his sister (who had very long hair that she let Kuai Liang braid for her) looking back at him and refused to let Hanzo ever do it again
Hanzo catches him spasming sometimes and it worries him, so he'll usually reach out and soothe the twitching muscles to try and ease the discomfort
Kuai Liang has always had a preference for more revealing clothing, as he thinks it helps prove his skill that he needs no armor, so it was a relief to be able to wear it again and get that piece of himself back.
Frost sleeps with that stuffie every night
It takes Kuai Liang a while to learn how to mix his poison and ice powers, not wanting to touch the poison ones at all until Hanzo talks him through it, having gone through a similar thing with his fire
Nsfw!!
Kuai Liang's comfort with touch varies wildly, sometimes he flinches away from a brush of hands, and other times he crowds Hanzo against a wall and makes out with him until neither can breathe
He worries that Hanzo will get annoyed, but Hanzo doesn't mind at all, just glad that Kuai Liang feels comfortable enough with him to explore and express his desires. If Kuai Liang decided Hanzo could never touch him again, Hanzo would be fine with that
Hanzo generally prefers to bottom, but he also wants to take care of Kuai Liang the way Kuai Liang takes care of him.
The first time Kuai Liang ever let him, they ended up going all night and Kuai Liang could barely form sentences afterwards bc Hanzo spoiled him and got him off so many times his brain stopped working.
Hanzo actually has a scar on his thigh from where Kuai Liang bit too hard by accident. Kuai Liang was mortified but Hanzo was delighted.

May I request some more Wraith!Kuai Liang Au Headcanons? Just like general or specific stuff
you may indeed!
I'm gonna say that water nullifies his poison powers bc it's my au and I can do what I want (tho feel free to ignore that if it doesn't spark joy for you!) so he's really fond of swimming now as there's no risk of killing anyone as long as he's in the water.
Whenever Kuai Liang is frightened or upset he goes to a pretty sequestered hot spring and spends hours there just swimming. Sometimes Hanzo will sit on the shore with his legs in the water and chat with him, and its those conversations that let them start to come to terms with one another and become friends, and ofc fall in love
I know I said in another post (at least I think I did) that they don't get together until Kuai Liang's humanity is restored, but I also think it would be really cool if their first kiss was in that hot spring.
Like Kuai Liang has had a bad day for whatever reason so he heads to the hot spring and starts swimming only to have Hanzo joing him not that long after. Hanzo sits at the edge and chats with him like usual, eventually making him laugh so Kuai Liang grabs his ankles under the water and pulls Hanzo in. This isn't the first time he's been able to touch someone underwater, they both knew it was safe, but it is the most contact he's had in years when Hanzo basically just holds onto him and the two are pressed into one another. So Kuai Liang basically short circuits as they flirt until eventually they both dip their heads down under the water or maybe Hanzo pulls him down and they end up kissing. Not for long because hot water and breathing, but still.
Kuai Liang practically shakes out of his skin afterwards bc he's so touch starved and he really wants to do that again but he can't without risking Hanzo's life. Thus begins their search for a way to restore his humanity
He's also terrified of accidentally killing someone. Like, he's been a weapon for whoever forces him for so long and now his very touch is poisonous and he's just terrified he'll hurt someone without meaning to.
Bc of that he keeps his distance from most people, Hanzo is pretty much the only one who won't let him get away with it.
The worst part for both of them is when Kuai Liang wakes up screaming from nightmares and all either of them wants is for Hanzo to hold him but he can't bc of the poison powers so he has to settle for just talking to Kuai Liang in the hopes that it will calm him down.
As soon as Kuai Liang's humanity is restored and it becomes safe to touch him again, the first thing Hanzo does is give him a hug and Kuai Liang just breaks down into tears bc it's real and dry and safe and he finally feels safe for the first time in years.
They spend the rest of that day in bed just holding each other as Kuai Liang sleeps off the side effects of being resurrected again, and no one disturbs them bc by this point the entirety of the Shirai Ryu are very attached to Kuai Liang and want to see him be happy.
Their first kiss after the resurrection is a slow and sleepy thing, just soft and gentle bc they deserve tenderness goddamnit
that's all I can think of rn, but lemme know if you want more

Not a sad wraith Kuai Liang headcanon but imagine him as a cryptid that gains enough notoriety to be on like Buzzfeed Unsolved/Mystery files. It’s like the brief times he is in America doing missions or taking Cassie and Frost for their dates in California. People encountering him in his more monster form, ex mob members recounting went through their ranks like a silent assassin with traces of highly toxic venom and ice found. Kids making drawings of a monster that was nice and played with them while their parents were inside.
I love this
Kuai Liang has no idea that his behavior is in any way odd until Cassie, after getting together with Frost, finds the buzzfeed unsolved video and shows it to him, leading to him being simultaneously flattered and mortified at being so well known and liked
Hanzo thinks it's endlessly hilarious

Can we get some incorrect quotes set in the Wraith! kuai Liang Au
indeed you may
Hanzo: Are you okay?
Kuai LIang, submerged in the hot spring up to his neck: Depends
Hanzo: On?
Kuai Liang: Whether or not okay means "wanting to rip my own head of"
Hanzo: It doesn't
Kuai Liang: Then no
---
Hanzo: What are you doing?
Kuai Liang, staring at the bed like it's offended him: Trying to figure out how to use this
Hanzo: Generally you use it to sleep
Kuai Liang: Yes, but how?
Hanzo: If you really need an explanation, this is going to be a very different night than either of us was expecting
---
Hanzo: So, poison powers?
Kuai Liang: Not a fan?
Hanzo: no, no, they're fine, just....are you okay with that?
Kuai Liang: no, but I don't get what I want
Hanzo:............
Hanzo: Okay, so I'm going to defend you with my life from here on out

Following up on the idea of the two ice brothers being separated is the idea of Bi-Han having a hidden family heirloom his mother gave to him and his brother, both being a necklace and a bracelet made for the brothers to wear made by their mom and them together when she was teaching them how to make jewelry. Bi-han has both his own and Kuai Liang’s and it’s the only form of reassurance that his brother is real and he existed, and was not some imaginary friend, but still he doubts himself and his own memories because he can barely remember what his brother looks like. While Kuai doesn’t have this at all and is just, blank on most of his life and his memories that have been suppressed that he barely remembers his own name anymore
ooohohohohoho this is good
Also, we know that Kuai Liang is younger than Bi-Han, how much younger is up to interpretation (I usually hc 2 years ish)
So Kuai Liang has next to no memories of life before the Lin Kuei but Bi-Han has enough to know that Kuai Liang and Lian were real, to know that he had a life before the Lin Kuei and want to go back to it (part of why they separate them)
So he clings to the necklace and bracelet, hiding them from the Lin Kuei and keeping them even when he becomes a wraith. And then, when he finally reunites with his brother he tries to give one of them to him and Kuai Liang has no idea who he is like
Just imagine the angst! The drama!
And then one day Kuai Liang has a dream or a nightmare and talks in his sleep and all he says is Bi-Han's name, and Hanzo hears it and puts two and two together and ends up having to be the one to reunite the two
So Kuai Liang, who is friends with Hanzo, has no idea who Bi-Han is but is overcome with joy at finding out that he wasn't crazy and did have a brother while Bi-Han has to wrestle with hating Hanzo for killing him and being grateful bc of the reunion, as well as some misplaced guilt for being separated from Kuai Liang.
And, since he barely remembers his own name you could get some good Bireena (and later Bireencage) Content of Sareena being the first person since the kidnapping to say Bi-Han's name out loud.
Like, could you imagine that? almost forgetting your own name only to have the woman you love say it like it's a prayer and remind you of it every chance she gets
Y'all this AU is consuming me, I am Unwell
