Super obscure character but in ep173 Wobbu-Palooza theres a fat girl called lulu who is friendly and welcomes team rocket to the village. Still, this is pretty weak representation and she was only a minor character never to be seen again.

HOW THE FUCK DID I FORGET ABOUT LULU

okay lulu might be the one central example of a fat woman in the pokeani who isn’t treated as a gag character yes. from what i can tell there’s no point where she makes some wisecrack about food, and plus she’s treated as kind of an aged matriarch & badass by the other members of wobbuffet village

she’s singlehandedly responsible for driving the festival crashers out the first time and iirc they’re literally like ‘yeah those dude did not stand a single chance against lulu’

this is absolutely 100% not good enough and i am not proudly announcing that i am satisfied but i would like to take this opportunity to say we stan lulu
