somewhat often, yes! betty wasn't a hummer or singer much before meeting vanilla simon, but she uses the string of notes/words to help keep her mind focused when the MMS from being a wizard is bad, so she's much more willing to sing to all of the babies simon carries, but morri especially since they would settle down after a while. (morri usually isn't much of a kicker without a seal on them, but in wizardbetty au they were much more active due to simon being more active and having lots of convos with betty, who morri adores).

constantly trying to wiggle around to investigate and listen to all the strange interesting noises they could hear from the womb and listen to betty and simon talk since they could understand them to a degree! curious baby.

anyways, morrigan settled down once simon started having to hang back while betty went out and scouted, and moreso when they moved into the train car, so betty didn't do it as much- mostly just talking to morri when she got home.

the exception was either when morri was really excited to hear mom's voice (they missed her! hello!) or right after a growth spurt, where they would be trying to get comfortable again because their papa really didn't have much room left for them to grow + it gave them a little energy boost.

(side note, once they got in the train car simon's nesting urges came in hard. he was constantly tidying the place up, cleaning and decorating with the things betty brought home in an attempt to make it "presentable" for when the baby came.)

Does Betty ever do that thing where you lift your partner’s baby bump up to see how heavy it is. But in doing so it relives pressure and the baby carrying parent is like… your not going anywhere. Your new job is to hold the baby up, this feels amazing.

simon wouldn't stop betty from leaving, but she would deffo be able to tell he really enjoyed it, so she does it for him often, especially after work.

and ofc, baby 2 is still running a marathon in there.

it was definitely a shocker!! his back may be aching and it's kind of difficult to be giving tours of the museum but he's pretty happy to be giving wizard betty a(nother) kiddo and morri a little sibling!

glad to have you here! they all absolutely do. even wizardbetty au simon (especially while pregnant), though he kept very well covered up around betty. he felt absolutely ridiculous waddling around behind someone like betty, who was so.. capable. slowly not being able to keep up with her made him so embarassed, plus seeing what morri was doing to his body made him even more so.

another special mention is vampire simon, who has second thoughts, like.. every single day. the way the pregnancy changes his body and alters his moods.. betty's so important and gorgeous and smart, and she keeps going on day runs to get him sweets... and he looks like this. but betty knows her hubby is second guessing himself, even if he keeps those thoughts private, and is always reassuring him or showing him she still loves him and is very excited for their baby.

because morri can sense their presence! morri is extremely sensitive to the presence of magic or cosmic energy and their signatures.

before simon and betty even realize he's pregnant, morri can tell, suddenly, their dad's energy signature is different, and they don't like that it's different.

they don't realize there's a baby in there, they just can tell when he holds them that the source of the difference is located exclusively in simon's middle.

in fact, they're so put off by the strangeness (especially when simon started feeling sick) that there were multiple times when they'd crawl out of bed and into their parents room to poke simon's stomach and try to inspect the energy closer.
